"Other than being drugged up on tons of antibiotics, the doctor said Aurora is fine," Jonah informs Addilyn, Corbyn, and Aaron Carpenter as Carmen tells the others. "The flu seems to have a stronger effect on her compared to others but she'll be discharged tomorrow morning."

Addilyn immediately relaxes as Corbyn sighs in relief. Soon after learning Aurora had left the Halloween party with Aaron, Jonah had received a call from the boy himself. He quickly explained that, after witnessing the girl's fainting spell in the upstairs hallway, he drove her to the hospital, wanting to be sure she was okay.

So, still in their Halloween costumes, their group had rushed to the hospital, the party continuing to rage on as they drove away from the house.

"Callie's jello is looking really good right now," Addilyn comments randomly, eyeing the orange cup longingly. "I think I'll go get some for myself."

"I want food too," Corbyn whines, trailing after the girl down the hallway as she begins the trek to the cafeteria.

"Of course you do," she giggles through a wide yawn, linking her arm through his. "You know, Grey's Anatomy has really given me unrealistic expectations when it comes to hospitals."

"I didn't know you watched Grey's."

"I don't," the girl shrugs her shoulders nonchalantly. "But I watched a few reruns the other day when nothing better was on."

Corbyn nods, jumping ahead to hold the door leading to the cafeteria open for her, bowing dramatically. "After you, my lovely Hermione."

"Why thank you, mister Malfoy," Addilyn says, adopting a terrible British accent, bringing Corbyn to burst into laughter. "Now, where is the jello?"

The blond taps his chin, appearing deep in thought. "I'll start searching over there while you start over here," he decides before disappearing behind a group of nurses on her left.

She turns to her right, briefly wondering why the place was so crowded at this hour of the night, before focusing on her mission. Dodging a frazzled surgeon chugging a cup of coffee, she zeroes in on the shelves of snacks against the back wall, conveniently placed directly next to a refrigerator filled with energy drinks.

Successfully reaching the shelves without bumping into anyone, Addilyn sighs in disappointment as she doesn't spot the gelatin snack.

"The jello isn't over here," Aaron Carpenter chuckles, shutting the refrigerator door with a red bull in his hand. He jerks his head in the opposite direction, continuing. "It's over there, your friend will probably find it."

"How did you know that's what I was looking for?" She questions, raising an eyebrow. "Eavesdropping, were we?"

"It's kind of hard not to when the conversation happened while I was standing right next to you," the brunette defends himself with a chuckle.

"No offense or anything, but why are you still here?" Corbyn asks bluntly, appearing by his girlfriend's side with jello cups in his hands. Noticing the way Aaron stared at Addilyn, he took an immediate disliking towards him, suddenly understanding Jonah's strong disliking of George in Minnesota. "I figured you had already left to go back to partying."

"Corbs!" Addilyn reprimands, shocked by his rude demeanor. "You can at least tell Aaron 'thank you' before you start assaulting him with questions. After all, he was kind enough to bring Aurora here."

"No, it's all right," Aaron assures her, shooting Corbyn a way wards glance. "I couldn't leave Aurora here by herself. And when you guys arrived, I just had to get to know the beautiful Gryffindor."

"Well, Mr. Quackington isn't here right now, he's at the house," Addilyn chuckles, avoiding the teenager's flirting attempt. "But when we get back in the morning, I'll be sure to pass along your compliment."

Aaron's eyes widen, staring at the girl with his mouth agape, having been completely blindsided by the sudden curve in their conversation.

"Toodles!" She twirls around, her robes swishing behind her.

Corbyn is already one step ahead of her, literally, his wizarding robes billowing out behind him as he leads the way back into the main corridor.

"What was with that attitude in their?" Addilyn questions, not quite able to make out the expression on the blond's face. "Normally, Mr. Quackington is the only one to get that salty. And that's only when I don't change his outfit as soon as he demands it!"

A blush rises along his cheeks, embarrassed at being called out on his behavior. "I-i didn't like the way he was looking at you," he stutters out, purposely fiddling with the lid on her jello to avoid eye contact.

"Why is th-" the girl cuts herself off, catching on. "You were jealous of him, weren't you?"

The ever growing blush gives her the answer, bringing a small smile to her lips as Corbyn tries to deny it.

"There's no need to be jealous," she states. "I love you, Corbs, not Aaron Carpenter."

A heavy silence falls over the couple and they both come to a halt as Addilyn realizes what she just admitted. However, she doesn't waver or shy away from her bold statement, knowing she meant it.

She truly is in love with the singer. She loves him, everything from his perfect smile that never fails to bring butterflies to her stomach and to the way he would always drop everything to be there for the ones he calls family.

But, Corbyn's eyes widening as he finally looks at her and his lack of an answer still caused her stomach to flutter with nerves.

"Do you really mean it?" He finally whispers, terrified and thinking that she would suddenly come to her senses and realize he wasn't good enough for her.

"Of course I do," Addilyn smiles softly, growing more confident as she takes a step closer to him.

Forgetting about the jello cups, they fall to the sterile hospital floor as Corbyn instinctively wraps his arms around her waist, pulling her closer.

"I love you too, Addi," he murmurs, pulling her into a soft kiss.
