"Agent Smith, it's too… dangerous. We must evacuate immediately." A man panted and puffed as held a blaster in his hand. He had clearly run out of options.

A woman with dark hair pressed her side as her clothing slowly turned red. "You're suggesting we run?"

He looked down with worry in his eyes. He did not know if she could survive the trip to escape pods.

"Officer Jones, give me the gun." She said, holding out her hand. "Only one of us can survive and I'm already on my last leg."

"Agent Smith…. Mia…."

"That monster devoured my family, my friends and even my dog. I can't run in my condition, so why not give it Hell?" She took the gun and with wobbly steps, stood in front of a corridor that had some sort of beast lurking in the shadows. Agent Smith then itched her side accidentally exposing the line for the special effects blood pack.

"CUT!" Alan Thénardier yelled as his starlet was picking at the special effects. "What seems to be the issue?"

"I think I'm developing a rash from the fake blood."

"CRAP!" He shouted as they had begun filming and he was already filming overtime to get this pivotal scene in the story finished.  "How bad is it?"

She looked at her hand that was starting to swell up. "Not great."

"Caquet, go to the on set Doctor. I'll figure something out in the meantime." He wanted one day of filming for Horrificator to go smoothly. His main star, Adrien Agreste often arrived late, the rigged puppet for the beast blew a fuse, and now Officer Jones' motivational tool was allergic to fake blood.

He rubbed his face, irritated that this was taking so much more time than necessary. "Everyone take five!" He needed time to think of a solution. Or at least enough time to give his little boy a hug.

He saw his ex carry their son by the snack table filled with water, donuts, and bags of chips. "Daddy!" Alan's son joyfully yelled, holding out his little arms so he could trade off parents.

"How is my little man doing?"

His son replied with only smiles and giggles as he was not expecting to see his dad today.

Alya smiled before summarizing their day. "Tell Dada what you watched in the car."

"Bluey!" The three year old screamed. "Puppy!"

"Do you want a puppy, Miles?" Alan asked. He got a cold glare from Alya as she did not want to add on to her already stressful life.

"Dada will have to have it stay with him." She added as there was no way she was taking care of a dog.

"Maybe I'll get you a dog when you're older." He nervously laughed as he did not know what to get on her bad side, not when they shared a child together.  "Did Mommy give you a donut?" He asked as there was small evidence of white powder on his son's spider-man tee shirt.

"No, but I can take a guess who did." She looked at Marinette who held a donut in each hand. One half the size of the other.

"If he can't sleep tonight, I'm sending him your way."

Alya had brought Marinette along to distract her from all the bad things happening. To briefly shelve the worries, the grief, the hate. To just enjoy being on a set of television series and the thrill of possibly meeting someone famous.

Alan looked at Marinette and wondered if using her as a stand-in would work. "Are you a size four by any chance?"

He would have had Alya take the actress's place if she could squeeze into a size four. However Alya was way over a size four and was too well endowed in her bust to wear the costume provided. He also knew the wardrobe would ring his neck as he was adamant that he had all the clothing needed for this episode. They had special ordered Gabriel Brand pieces to scatter throughout the series assuming that they had all the actors and actresses sizes correct.

"Uhhh…. Yeah?" Marinette asked as she shoved a glazed donut in her mouth.  Thinking that she might grow a size with all the donuts she had consumed. They were free and she was fine just effortlessly eating away her feelings.

"Could you do me a solid and be a stand in?" He asked as he really needed to find someone soon and prayed to the TV Gods that she could act so he didn't have to fix the script. He crossed his fingers hoping that Adrien and Marinette  had similar on screen chemistry as Adrien and Mirelle."Mirelle Caquet had a reaction to the fake blood, so I need a stand in pronto."

"Sure?" Marinette replied thinking that her role would be so minimal or unremarkable that no one would remember she was even there.

She headed to the wardrobe department and made a face when she had to put on a spandex bodysuit. A suit that was a cross between a diving wetsuit and something a secret agent would wear. It was black with faint gray hexagons printed into parts of the fabric. A heavy rust colored jacket with white fur lining reminest of a pilot's jacket if it was not for the strange markings. Markings mimicking military badges but were off enough to be considered alien.

She wore short boots that were a little snug as all the morning runs she did, had widened her feet. She looked in the mirror a little surprised at how revealing the bodysuit was as she was told by the wardrobes lead that she would have to forgo her under garments as they would leave obvious lines.

Her next step was the makeup department who was too fond of having less than thirty minutes. "I need to fasten this into your suit." A man said as held a blood pack and spool of sticky tape.

Marinette took a deep breath as she was trying to work up the courage to unzip her suit. It was easier to disrobe in front of the wardrobe assistant as she was a woman.

'He's a professional. I'll be fine.'

The man noticed her hesitation. "If it makes you feel better, I'm super gay."

Marinette did not feel relieved as the 'what ifs' froze her in her path.

A hairdresser began fussing with Marinette's hair, deciding to go with a half hazard gelled look. "There's no shame in asking for someone else. If you'd prefer a woman, I've been working sets enough to know how easy blood packs are to attach. And Wayhem's attitude is just flat out annoying."

The hairdresser was blonde, tan, tall, and casually dressed: white tee and black slacks. Her hair braided into a fishtail that seemed to go on forever. Marinette thought that if there was ever a live action Rapunzel movie that the company should hire this woman.

"HEY!" He yelled. "I'm standing right here."

"He only applied for this job, not because he particularly likes Sci-fi but because he's got an unhealthy crush."

"On who?" Marinette quickly tried to back track her curiosities. "I am SO sorry."

Wayhem smiled. "Don't be. I like talking about him. He's smart, aloof, kinda a goofball. And he's fucking HOT. He would not have been elected the sexiest man in France if he wasn't."

"You like Adrien Agreste?" As she could not see the attraction. Even if Wayhem's brown eyes were echoing sincerity she could not see the appeal of liking someone like Adrien. A man who broke up with the best woman in Paris, only to get mugged a day later. 'Karma is a bitch.'

"Yeh, he's a pretty good guy."

"If you ask me, he's a walking redflag." The hairdresser added as she had made sure that women including her were not left alone with him. He rubbed her the wrong way even though his smile seemed trusting, her gut was telling her it was a lie.

"Well, red is my favorite color. So I might be overlooking some things." He could not believe with a physique like Adrien's that Adrien was a fully straight guy and hoped to be the man that would lead him out of the closest. But he knew that Gabriel Agreste was an old fashioned ass and would probably disown his son if he came out as any color of the rainbow. Wayhem fantasized about being the man that Adrien would sacrifice everything for. But his attempts were often met with confusion on Adrien's side.

The hairdresser rolled her eyes before taking the blood pack and tape away from Wayhem. She quickly unzipped Marinette's suit and had it fastened into place in less than a minute. As she was zipping her suit she said something that was odd. "Woman to woman my advice is to prevent yourself from being alone with Adrien."

"I didn't really like him beforehand so I think I will be okay but thanks for the heads up."
