"Hey." Bellamy smiled as he looked down at Juniper, she was finally waking up after she passed out. Juniper rubbed her eyes before Bellamy placed his hand on her cheek.

"How long have I been sleeping?" Juniper asked as she tried to reach water, but Bellamy got their first.

"Just the night." Bellamy asked as Juniper drank from the cup he was holding. As soon as Juniper was done she started to sit up. "What are you doing?" Bellamy asked confused as he tried to stop her, but Juniper still manage to sit up. The pain in her stomach was slowly getting strong as she bent her body a little.

"Sitting up, what does it look like?" Juniper asked as she looked down at her scar, it was going to stay forever. Every time she looked at it she was going to remember the sensation of the arrow ripping into her skin.

"You just took an arrow to the gut." Bellamy stated as he tried to push Juniper back down to rest. Juniper had been thinking about this for a while, she wanted to finally be official with Bellamy, something they had never been before.

"And it's been bandaged up. Still hurts like hell though." Juniper laughed as she grabbed his hands. "I need to tell you something." Juniper grinned and Bellamy nodded her head. Before she could confess her feelings, Clarke walked in.

"How are you doing?" Clarke asked smiling, she was just so happy to see Juniper alive and well, well sort of well.

"Seen better days." Juniper laughed before she reached out to give Clarke a hug. "Thank you so much for saving my life." Juniper whispered as she held onto her best friend.

"I promised I would never let you die." Clarke reassured as she pulled out of the hug. Juniper nodded her head before she looked at Bellamy. "Hey, we are away to leave now." Clarke said to Bellamy and Juniper raised her eyebrow confused.

"Leave? Where are you going?" Juniper asked and both Bellamy and Clarke exchanged a look of despair. Bellamy had not told her what had happened.

"Juni-" Bellamy sighed as he held onto her hand. Juniper looked distraught as she shook her head.

"What is it?" Juniper asked getting angrier.

"They released the last exodus ship last night." Clarke answered and Juniper sighed with relief.

"My dad's here." She laughed to herself but then stopped when she saw Clarke and Bellamy's reaction.

"It was a quick landing, they didn't release any parachutes." Clarke whispered and Juniper shook her head. Clarke nodded her head and Bellamy went into hug Juniper.

"I'm sorry." Bellamy whispered but Juniper pushed him off. Juniper knew that it could not have been her parents.

"Our parents were not on that ship, that wasn't right." Juniper stated as she shook her head. Clarke began to protest but Juniper looked at her. "Clarke, I can feel it. They are still in space." Juniper promised and Clarke nodded her head to keep peace.

"We are going to go to the crash site so if we find anything I will tell you, okay." Clarke replied and Juniper held out her pinky finger like a five year old. "I promise." Clarke chuckled as she linked her finger with Juniper's.

"We are away to leave." Raven shouted as she ran into the dropship. She saw that Juniper was awake and grinned at her. "Glad to see you awake." Raven smirked as Juniper looked away laughing.

"Come on, Raven, we will meet Bellamy outside." Clarke stated before she took Raven out of the dropship. Bellamy went to hold Juniper's hand.

"What did you have to tell me?" He asked as he caressed Juniper's hand in his. Juniper did not want to tell him her news, it wasn't the right time.

"It's fine, I'll tell you later." Juniper smiled before Bellamy kissed her on the head. "Take this." Juniper stated before Bellamy started to leave. It was her necklace, it was what they did, Juniper gave Bellamy her necklace if he was going into danger, so he knew that she always had his back. "Grounders are pissed, they will attack if they see you." Juniper explained as Bellamy placed the necklace under his shirt. "A arrow is painful." Juniper grinned before she lay back on the bed, she needed her rest.

"See you when I get back." Bellamy promised before he left the dropship. Juniper slowly drifted off into a slumber, all she could see in her dreams were her parents. She hoped that her dad was not on that ship, she needed him alive.

♔

As the sky drew darker, the camp were all outside just having fun. Except for Octavia and Juniper, they were sitting outside worrying or pissed. Octavia was staring at Jasper with the look of evil and Juniper was wrapped in a blanket trying not to breakdown over the exodus ship. She needed to believe her Dad was alive to get her through all of this.

"Hey. No sign of your brother or the others yet." Monty stated as he walked over to Octavia and Juniper. Juniper nodded her head as she smiled at Monty.

"Hey. I don't care." Octavia replied harshly as she kept her eyes on Jasper. Octavia was still frustrated with what happened on the bridge with the Grounders.

"Jasper, tell us again, how'd you stay so calm? I would've been terrified." Harper asked as she stood by the fire with Jasper. Everybody was praising and hailing Jasper, boiling Octavia's blood more. Juniper was annoyed that there wasn't peace, but glad that Jasper did shoot because it could have been worse than just Juniper getting hurt.

"Fear is only a problem if you let it stop you, right?" Jasper replied trying to act all strong and Octavia just scoffed as she walked forward a little.

"That's not even his line. Finn said that." Octavia stated and Juniper just looked to Monty with both eyebrows raised.

"I saw the Grounders in the trees. It was like nothing I ever felt. You know, pure animal instinct took over. One pull of the trigger, two Grounders dead." Jasper explained as Juniper pulled the blanket around her even more. Since she couldn't find her jumper, all she was wearing was Bellamy's jacket, her white bralette (that used to be her vest) and black cargo pants, it was not the warmest and she did not want to be that exposed.

"'Pure animal instinct'? More like pure pant's-wetting panic." Octavia growled and Juniper giggled as she watched Jasper, he was having his big moment.

"You don't really know what you're made of until a moment like that, you know, when it's kill or be killed and there's just nothing between you and the tip of the spear." Jasper added trying to dramatize the situation.

"Okay. This has to stop." Octavia stated after hearing Jasper say that, it was the final straw.

"Come on. Let us have this!" Monty exclaimed and Octavia turned to face him with her perfect brows knitted.

"Us?" Juniper asked as she looked over at Jasper.

"Look at him. The boy is a folk hero. They even gave us a bigger tent." Monty answered and Juniper threw her head back laughing whilst Octavia sneered as she kicked the ground. Soon enough, Jasper's time was over when everybody heard the trip wire go off.

"Somebody hit the trip wire!" Connor shouted and Juniper looked at Octavia, it could have been Lincoln.

"Was it a Grounder?" Somebody else asked as the boys started to move forward. Octavia helped Juniper down and they started to follow the boys.

Bang. Bang. Bang.

Juniper and Octavia both panicked as they heard gunshots go off.

"Think I got him." Derek shouted with glee as they all left the camp, Octavia looked at Juniper as they were behind the boys.

"Lincoln." She whispered nervously and Juniper took her hand and pushed their way to the front.

"Hey, slow down. Octavia, Juniper, be careful." Connor instructed as Juniper and Octavia got closer to the body. They were yelping with pain, Juniper looked closer and she recognized those eyes.

"No way." Juniper whispered as she leaned down to the body, she tried to touch him but he just jolted backwards.

"Murphy?" Octavia asked confused. Murphy looked like a scared little lamb away to go to the slaughterhouse.

"Get him inside." Juniper ordered. She could not lift up Murphy without damaging her wound. Octavia nodded her head as she grabbed a hold of Murphy, the boys were all staying still. "Connor, Derek, help her now." Juniper said louder and they groaned before they did it. They quickly got him into the dropship and sat him down against the back wall. "Guard him at all times, we will deal with him when Clarke and Bellamy get here." Juniper instructed and everybody was in an agreement.

♔

"Where is he?" Juniper heard Bellamy shout as she turned her head to see him marching into the dropship with his gun pointed at Murphy. "Everyone but Connor and Derek out... Now!" Bellamy demanded and everybody followed his instructions.

"He claims he was with the Grounders." Derek stated as he held his gun to Murphy. Juniper was just looking at Clarke, who had a surprised expression on his face. Finn was watching Murphy, he was bruised, bloody, broken, torn, tattered and everything in between. He had gone through hell and back.

"We caught him trying to sneak back into camp." Connor added and Murphy scoffed.

"I wasn't sneaking. I was running from the Grounders." Murphy corrected them in his annoyed tone as he crouched in the fetal position.

"Anyone see Grounders?" Bellamy asked and Derek and Connor both made audible sounds as they shook their heads. "Well, in that case--" Bellamy stated as he held up the gun to shoot Murphy, Juniper quickly jumped in front. She was not going to let Bellamy kill someone, even if it was Murphy.

"No, we are not killing him." Juniper stated as she looked down the barrel of the rifle. The only thing that was keeping Murphy alive was Juniper, or else he would have had a bullet in his heart.

"We were clear what would happen if he came back." Bellamy replied as he still held the gun up. Finn came to Juniper's defense as he pushed down Bellamy's gun.

"No. If he was with the Grounders, then he knows things that can help us." Finn explained, being the peacemaker that he is. Bellamy scoffed as he looked Finn up and down.

"Help us? We hanged him. We banished him, and now we're gonna kill him. Get the hell out of my way." Bellamy ordered both Finn and Juniper as Clarke moved to Murphy to inspect him.

"No. Finn is right." Juniper whispered and she could tell that Bellamy was getting frustrated with what she was doing, but Juniper knew that she was doing the right thing. Charlotte said before she died that she wanted nobody to die on her account so Juniper was going to promise that, despite her anger towards the kid.

"Like hell he is. Juni, think about Charlotte." Bellamy whispered as he pleaded with Juniper. Juniper shook her head.

"I am thinking about her, but what happened to Charlotte was as much our fault as his." Juniper replied in the same tone and Bellamy just looked away.

"He's not lying. His fingernails were torn off. They tortured him."" Clarke said as she inspected his fingers. Juniper walked over and slowly got down to her knees to see if Clarke was right.

"You and the Grounders should compare notes." Finn sneered at Bellamy.

"The Grounders know we're at war. What did you tell them about us?" Bellamy asked Murphy, ignoring Finn's comment. Clarke got up and helped Juniper up as well before they moved closer to Bellamy.

"Everything." Murphy whispered before he gulped. Juniper did not blame him though, they hurt him, he was just getting his revenge.

"Once he's better, we find out what he knows, and then he's out of here, okay?" Juniper promised as she looked at Bellamy.

"What if he refuses to leave? What do we do with him then?" Bellamy asked and Clarke walked forward, acting like the leader the camp needed.

"Then we kill him." Clarke stated before she walked out, Juniper followed after her but laid against the side of the dropship. She began to feel really sick and queasy, it must have been the poison.

"Are you okay?" Bellamy asked as he walked out of the dropship to see Juniper barely able to stand up. He rushed over to her and held onto her.

"I think it's just the arrow or the poison leaving my system?" Juniper whispered as she could feel something come up her stomach.

"Juniper." Bellamy whispered as he pushed back her hair. "You're ears." Bellamy whispered as the blood started to pour on. Juniper held onto her ears and pouted at him.

"Bellamy, what's happening to me?" She asked as she began shaking, nothing good happened when blood was pouring from your ears. "CLARKE!" Juniper screamed out and Clarke came rushing towards her with blood stained eyes. Juniper quickly stepped away from Bellamy. She thought that it could be contagious because how could both her and Clarke have it. "Whatever this is could be contagious, get alcohol and throw it over your hands, now." Juniper demanded and Bellamy nodded his head before he ran off. Clarke got Juniper's hand and guided her into the dropship, they sat Juniper down as she was too weak to stand.

"Murphy, hey, look at me. I need you to tell me exactly how you escaped from the Grounders. What happened?" Clarke asked as she knelt down beside Murphy.

"I don't know. I woke up, and they forgot to lock my cage. There was no one there, so I took off." Murphy explained and Juniper weakly raised her eyebrows, her head was barely staying still.

"They let you go." Juniper groaned confused just as Bellamy walked in. Juniper saw him upside down because her head was leaned back so far. Clarke rushed towards her and pushed her head forward.

"Bellamy, stay back." Juniper shouted weakly as she rested her head in between her knees.

"Did he do something to you?" Bellamy asked worried and Juniper held up her thumb facing down, she was too weak to talk. "What the hell is this?" Bellamy asked confused as he looked to Clarke for guidance.

Clarke "Biological warfare. You were waiting for the Grounders to retaliate for the bridge? This is it. Murphy is the weapon."

"Is this your revenge, helping the Grounders kill us?" Bellamy asked Murphy loudly.

"I didn't know about this, okay, I swear." Murphy pleaded as he held his hands up, Juniper believed him.

"Stop lying. When are they coming?" Bellamy asked as the blood dripped from Juniper's mouth, she had just been sick on the floor. Juniper sighed as she wiped her lip and held her head up. She felt a bit stronger after that.

"Murphy, think, all right? What can you tell us that's useful? Did you hear anything?" Juniper asked as she leaned back on the chair. Clarke gave her a sympathetic look, Juniper looked the worst out of everyone.

"They are vicious, cruel." Murphy whispered as he clearly thought back to what the Grounders did to him.

"You want to see vicious?" Bellamy asked as he walked up to Murphy.

"Hey, don't. Whatever this thing is, it spreads through contact." Juniper shouted as a warning and Bellamy stood still. Finn entered the dropship and looked for Clarke.

"Finn, you shouldn't be in here. No one should." Clarke sighed as she tried to get everything under control. Juniper just looked up at Bellamy with sad eyes, she just wanted all of this to be over, cuddling Bellamy in his tent.

"I heard you were sick. Clarke, what is this?" Finn asked as he got closer.

"I don't know, some kind of hemorrhagic fever. We just need to contain it before--" Clarke began to say before Derek started to retch, just like Juniper had done. Clarke walked up to him but Finn touched her, trying to stop her.

"Hey, don't touch me. You could get sick. Wash your hands. Now." Clarke instructed as she fell down to beside Derek, he was coughing like crazy.

"What the hell is happening to him?" Juniper asked as she began to worry, it could be her next. She was not having the best couple of days.

"I don't know." Clarke answered as she tried to comfort Derek but she just ended up falling over. Juniper gasped as Clarke checked for a pulse.

"He's dead." Clarke whispered before she stood up, got some alcohol and handed it to Finn. "Here. Alcohol. Hold out your hand." Clarke instructed and Finn did what she asked.

"What do we do?" Finn asked as Clarke poured the alcohol over his hands and Finn rubbed it in.

"Quarantine. Round up everyone who had contact with Murphy. Bring them here." Clarke answered and Juniper nodded her head. Finn exited to do Clarke's bidding.

"And everyone they had contact with?" Bellamy asked pessimistically.

"Well, we have to start somewhere." Juniper answered trying to see the light.

"Connor, who was with you when you found him? Who carried him in? Think." Clarke asked and Juniper sighed as she held her head down. Bellamy was not going to like this.

"It was Octavia and I." Juniper answered before she looked at Bellamy. Bellamy quickly rushed out of the tent and ten minutes later brought Octavia back for an examination. As Clarke examined Octavia, Juniper stood beside her, finally regaining her strength.

"Okay. We're done. No visible signs of swelling or bleeding." Clarke said as she took the torch away from Octavia's mouth.

"So you're saying she doesn't have it?" Juniper asked confused, she was there the same time as Juniper, they were practically in sync and both came in contact with Murphy.

"I'm saying she doesn't have symptoms, but that could change. We need to keep her here just in case." Clarke answered and Bellamy shook his head as he looked at the sick.

"No way. Look at this place. She'll get sick just being here." Bellamy protested and Clarke shook her head.

"Do you want to stop the spread, or not?" Clarke asked and Bellamy stayed quiet. He wanted to keep Octavia safe, always has and always will. "Look. I'll keep her on the third level with the people who aren't symptomatic yet. Think of it as a way to stop her from sneaking out again." Clarke explained and Octavia scoffed.

"Screw you, Clarke." Octavia sneered and Juniper smiled at Bellamy, from a distance.

"I'll let you know if her condition changes." Juniper swore and Bellamy knew that he could trust her, why would Juniper lie to him. Bellamy walked away and Octavia started to climb the ladder to the third level. "Octavia, wait, we have something to ask you." Juniper stated and Octavia stopped moving.

"We need you to sneak out again." Clarke said and Octavia looked at them in shock. Octavia took no time in convincing and escaped the camp to get to Lincoln to find that cure. Juniper was just hoping that Bellamy never found out.

Juniper was standing outside of the dropship, just getting some air. She was still feeling worse and her stomach was aching because she had been puking up blood and because of her wound. Juniper wanted this all to be over. On top of that, she had to stay strong and believe that her Dad was still alive, despite no answer from The Ark since the exodus ship landing.

"You got enough food in there, water?" Bellamy shouted to Juniper, taking her out of her daydream. Juniper smiled as she nodded to Bellamy.

"Yeah. Some medicine might be nice for Clarke. She's playing doctor in there." Juniper whispered frustrated and Bellamy smiled as he nodded his head.

"I'll see what I can do." He replied and Juniper grinned. "Octavia, you okay?" Bellamy shouted and Juniper's stomach dropped. Bellamy was going to be so mad at her. When he got nothing back, he started to approach the dropship. Juniper could not let Bellamy get infected.

"Bellamy, wait. She's not here. We sent her to see Lincoln." Juniper said as she took a step forward. Bellamy looked at her as the rage bubbled in his eyes. "Look. If there's a cure, he has it. I didn't tell you because I knew you wouldn't let her go." Juniper explained as she pleaded with Bellamy.

"If anything happens to her, you and me are gonna have problems." Bellamy growled and Juniper shook her head.

"Bellamy, you know that I wouldn't let anything bad happen to her." Juniper shouted at Bellamy but he just walked away from her. "Bellamy!" Juniper shouted after him as she took another step forward. Clarke came out of the tent to see why Juniper was yelling after Bellamy.

"Out of my way." Bellamy shouted at someone as he tried to walk away from Juniper. A deliquen turned around to see blood running from his eyes.

"Dude, your eyes. Nobody touch him!" Someone said and the guy had a fear of panic rush through his face.

"Get to the dropship. Now." Bellamy instructed just as some infected girl retched all over two boys. It was chaos. People had their guns at each other, other people were bleeding, it was dog eat dog. Despite, Finn and Bellamy's protests, they were trying to get people to calm down. Juniper and Clarke looked at one another before they lifted up a gun each and fired some bullets to grab everybody's attention.

"This is exactly what the Grounders want. Don't you see that?" Clarke shouted as everybody finally calmed down.

"They don't have to kill us if we kill each other first." Juniper added before looking at Clarke, her face was as pale as anything and she was getting a little dizzy.

"They won't have to kill us if we all catch the virus. Get back in the damn dropship!" A delinquent demanded as he pointed his gun at both Juniper and Clarke. Juniper scoffed at him just as Bellamy stormed up to the delinquent. He grabbed the guy's gun and smacked it off his nose.

"Not to state the obvious, but your quarantine isn't working." Bellamy hissed at both Juniper and Clarke. Clarke nodded her head before she started to fall. Finn saw and rushed to catch her.

"Finn, don't touch her!" Raven shouted out just as Finn caught Clarke. Juniper looked over and checked to see if Clarke was still conscious.

"Hey, let me go. I'm okay." Clarke moaned and Finn shook his head as he held Clarke bridal style, much to Raven's dismay.

"No, you're not." Finn replied sternly.

"Octavia will come back with a cure." Juniper promised just as Octavia came running into the camp.

"There is no cure... But the Grounders don't use the sickness to kill." Octavia explained to the whole camp and Juniper sighed as she hung her head.

"Really? Tell that to them. I warned you about seeing that Grounder again." Bellamy hissed at his younger sister. Octavia sighed as she looked at the dead bodies before looking at Bellamy.

"Yeah? Well, I have a warning for you, too." Octavia whispered before she looked at the whole camp. "The Grounders are coming... and they're attacking at first light." Octavia said before she looked at Finn. "Come on. I'll help you get Clarke into the dropship." Octavia said as she helped Finn get inside the drop ship. Juniper dropped the gun and walked closer to Bellamy, not getting anywhere near him.

"Bellamy." Juniper whispered as she tried to get his attention, but Bellamy was still pissed off.

"You should go see to Clarke." Bellamy said straight before he walked off. Juniper sighed before she turned on her heels and stormed into the dropship.
