Hey y'all! (I really need to start less chapters with that greeting...xD) Anywho, my last project in my art class was to draw something of my own choosing, so I chose...a serval! It took me a while to pinpoint what kind of wildcat I wanted to do. At first I was thinking about doing a regular cat, but I'd already done a graphite cat for that class, and I was interested in trying something new. I was also inspired by TenelleFlowers' video about drawing a serval on YouTube. Here it is if you're interested in seeing it:

I'm more satisfied with the finished serval than the finished background and bird for sure...I sort of ran out of time to do a good background when I was on a camping trip last weekend. 😅 I'm alright with the drawing in general though. It was really fun to draw a stretchy serval, and to experiment with wings. I referenced Hawktalon07's art on Deviantart for the wings on the bird.
