My hands drifted down to his bare waist, my lips continuing to graze the skin of his neck. His heavy breaths warmed the side of my face, making me smirk.

"What's going through your mind, Kook?" He asked as I painted his neck with bruises.

I hummed, drifting down to his collarbone. "'M thinking I want to make love to my fiancè."

I could practically feel the older blushing at my answer, making me almost stop my meandering until I felt his lips on the side of my neck.

"Hmm, I was thinking the same thing," Taehyung whispered before pulling my head off his chest and smiling. "But we have dinner with Yoongi and Hoseok in an hour."

I chuckled, pinching his waist. "As if they're not late every single time because they can't keep it in their pants."

Taehyung pecked my lips and then stepped back, forcing my arms to drop from his waist. "Yes, but we're supposed to be better than them. Plus, I would like to be able to walk normally to our table instead of limping."

I nodded, slight pout on my lips. "Fine, fine." I crossed my arms over my chest, fully accepting my childish behavior. "I guess I can wait until after dinner."

My cheek was pecked again before I watched the male enter our shared bedroom.

"But that doesn't mean we can't make out in the shower!" He said, squealing as he ran the rest of the way to the shower as I chased him, large smiles on our faces.

"Well, well... Look who showed up late," Yoongi raised a questioning eyebrow while Hoseok held in a chuckle.

I shrugged, pulling my chair out for Taehyung before sitting down myself. "Only by five minutes, which I'd say is pretty great considering you two are always half an hour late."

Hoseok pursed his lips as Yoongi responded. "Hey! It's not my fault Hoseok doesn't accept just one round."

The younger of the couple slapped Yoongi on the arm before whispering, "You don't have to go telling people that!"

I heard Taehyung snicker, leading to me wrapping my hand in his. "But alas, we are here now!" Taehyung said, wide smile on his face, despite the occasional chuckle still slipping through.

Hoseok smiled back. "And I'm so glad you're here!"

My eyes narrowed slightly at his words, suddenly noticing how stiff his body was, and how he kept his left hand under the table.

"Hoseok?" I questioned quietly, watching the male swallow harshly. "Why are you acting weird?"

He scoffed. "Pft, I'm not a-acting weird at a-all."

My eyes met Yoongi's, noticing the strange look in his eyes, which always meant he was holding something back.

"I know you two are full of shit. What's the big deal about telling you're engaged."

The couple's eyes grew wide, making direct eye contact before Hoseok's left hand landed on the table, crisp, shining ring on his ring finger.

"Okay, what gave it away?" Yoongi sighed, pout forming on his lips.

I swallowed, biting my tongue to say something I'd regret. "Hoseok was acting stiff, and he was only using his right hand for everything."

"Shit, I knew I would be awkward about it," Hoseok groaned.

Taehyung sat up straighter. "Well, congratulations you two! That's exciting!"

The couple thanked him, looking to me expectantly right as our waiter arrived to take our order.

Having said very few words over dinner, I knew Yoongi suspected something. He knew me better than the back of his hand. He knew me better than the keys of his piano. He knew me better than the thoughts going through his own mind.

As we exited the restaurant, saying farewell before parting ways, Yoongi cleared his throat.

"Kook, may I talk to you for a sec?"

I swallowed the lump in my throat before giving a small nod, passing the car keys to Taehyung.

After both males had returned to their respective cars, Yoongi pulled me aside, leaning against the outer wall of the restaurant.

"Why are you against me being engaged to Hoseok?"

I recoiled, curse words flooding my brain. "I-I'm not."

"Oh, but you are!" He exclaimed, taking a breath to lower the volume of his voice again.

"I promise you, hyung, I'm not against you being engaged to him."

Yoongi sighed loudly. "Then what is wrong?"

I could hear his frustration increasing, causing adrenaline to course through my veins like a raging fire. "Nothing!"

"Bullshit!" He snapped, slamming a hand against the brick exterior. "I know when something angers you. What the fuck is your problem?"

"Why the hell did you have to get engaged to Hoseok only a week after I got engaged to Taehyung!?" I yelled, watching my best friend's face scrunch together.

"W-What? You've technically been engaged for months."

I shook my head. "But officially, for one week! We haven't even started thinking about our wedding and now you have to think about yours!"

"Oh! I'm so sorry that I missed last week's episode of The Jungkook Show!" Yoongi threw his hands up. "Look, I love Hoseok, and knew it was the right time for me to propose."

I could tell he was trying to calm himself down.

I, on the other hand, only grew more angry.

"The Jungkook Show?" I argued. "What the fucking hell do you mean by that?"

He closed his eyes and inhaled sharply, his voice calm, but sharp like the blades of a knife. "Everything is always about you. You go to rehab and I pick you up, yet do you ever ask me about my day? About my life? No! I always have to listen to you babbling on about what good things are happening."

His voice increased in volume, the sharpness still intact. "I have been nothing but there for you. I have supported you through this journey, and I'm so glad you found Taehyung out of it. Each time you relapsed, I was there for you. I came running at your every beck and call. But when my sister was dying, where were you? Shooting a needle in your arm. Where was my support?"

I pursed my lips, giving him time to say your piece, despite the angry tears streaming down my cheeks.

"I didn't realize until now that you are actually a shitty friend, Kook. I can't believe I sacrificed everything to be your friend! I left my family in Daegu! I gave up my dream job of being a Psychiatrist so I couldn't be responsible for you messing up your sobriety! All I was asking for tonight was you to support me the way I supported you! I wanted you to suck up your own personal shit and congratulate me because I'm spending the rest of my life with Hoseok! He's someone who actually at least pretends he is interested in my life!"

His face was beet red by the time he took a breath.

"Are you done?" I asked casually, watching him take a breath.

"Yes, I'm done wasting my time on this shit." He turned on his heel to walk away, silver hair flashing in the moonlight.

"Hey Yoongi?" I called out, watching him turn around with an expression full of anger.

"Fuck you, and fuck your engagement."
