Neil's pov

I knew that she will feel myriad of emotions when she will go through all this, I won't be able to see her condition, still I have to be strong, for her.  I have to  face her. I have to make her realise that she's very special person and she shouldn't disrespect herself just because some useless people mock her over  something she never did. I saw her coming downstairs, so I turned off the lights and played the audios that I have recorded with the help of voice changer. I don't know if my plan will work or not but I have to take this risk. Self realisation is the best way for a person to realise his/her mistake. I want to use this way for reforming Avni. Her scared and broken face literally scratched my heart when she heard Dayavanti's and Gyatri' s voice. The innocent smile that appeared on her face when she heard her dad's voice was something I love about her. Her innocence reflects from her smile, that's why I love her smile. When she saw her dad's interview, I saw a small glimpse of self realisation in her so for igniting that process I played my voice which provoked her inner self and forced her to think about this situation according to my perspective. And now it was the most difficult task for me, I had to play voice of Dayavanti, Gyatri and Ashish uncle simultaneously for making her realise her own value. I know this will not be easy for her but it will be much difficult for me to watch her like this. She have to bare this temporary pain for permanent relief. I watched her with every passage minute she was breaking and I  was breaking every second for torturing her like this. The pain in her eyes was increasing and at one stage the pain disappeared and some fierce expression dominated her vulnerable state. This is what I  wanted and I was having high hopes that I  will see what I want to. Yes, my  trust won and I witnessed Avni's outburst for the very first time. Her words, her attitude everything made my  heart flutter with love and pride for her. I was smiling in tears after listening her confession and then I  saw her instant breakdown which was quite normal but it was like a dagger piercing my heart. I couldn't see her breakdown anymore so I  went towards her and gently patted her shoulders, she turned towards me instantly as if she remembers my touch and engulfed me in a tight hug which I reciprocated with full affection. Though, I badly want to stop her tears but I thought that somewhere it's good for her to release these bottled up emotions.

Avni was sobbing in his embrace while he was giving her space for composing herself. She clutched his shirt tightly as she never want to let him go, she snuggled her face more into his chest for inhaling his musky scent which always calm her. He gently patted her head for composing her and it worked, she looked into his eyes with teary eyes.

Avni - I am sorry. I am sorry for whatever I did. I became so blind after listening Dayavanti's words that I forgot the care and love you and Prakash dad gave me. I didn't realise that my act will hurt you and all those people who care for me. I am very sorry Neil. Please forgive me and give me one last chance.

Neil - If I ask you to give me something, will you give me ?

Avni - I am ready to give anything to you Neil even if it's  my life.

Neil covers her mouth with his hand and shook his head in no.

Neil - Your life is not only yours it's ours so don't dare to harm yourself again.

Avni - I promise, I won't do that again.

Neil - Avni, I.. I want you to fight against Dayavanti and Gyatri for whatever they did with you during your childhood.

Avni - Will you be happy if I will do so ?

Neil - I will be the happiest person if you will fight for yourself.

Avni - Then, I am ready for this battle.

Neil - I will always be there with you in this journey.

Avni's eyes filled with tears after listening his genuine words as she never felt this much wanted in her entire life.

He wiped her tears and kissed her forehead. He got up and carried her in his arms, he took her on the terrace and made her lie down on the carpet. He lay down beside her. They both were watching stars peacefully as Neil wanted to make her feel good after going through every possible emotion. He held her hand gently, she  admires her lovingly and he smiles at her, she smiles and tightens her hold on his hand. They both again got busy in admiring the beautiful sky filled with stars.

Neil - Avni see shooting star. ( He pointed towards the star excitedly. She admires his cuteness.) Come on make a wish.

With that he joins his hands and close his eyes for making a wish. Avni kept her hand on his entwined hands and admires him lovingly. Neil opens his eyes and looks at her.

Neil - You didn't made any wish ?

Avni - My only wish is that your wish should get fulfilled.

Neil leans towards her and whispers in her ears.

Neil - Tell me your hidden emotions and my wish will be fulfilled.

She was shocked, he looked at her shocked expressions and smirked. He was about to lay down again but Avni held his hand and he sits. He looked in her eyes as if trying to guess what she wants.

She held his hand gently and placed it on her heart. Neil looks at her with affection and his eyes were filled with tears. Neil held her hand and placed it on his heart.

Avni - Are words important ?

Neil - Feelings speak louder than  words.

With that he engulfs her in a tight hug showering all his love on her.
