Sameer - Nahi chhoddo ghar paas araha hai, ek baar sabse mil lete hain baad mein tumhe bataunga, coz that's something important.

But before Naina could protest, they pulled into the garage, and seeing her previous house after so long which felt like ages, she got even more excited if that was possible and not caring about anything else, rushed towards the house.

Sameer seeing her running in heels immediately warned her to stop.

Sameer - Naina ruk jao dheere jao race nahi lag rahi, yaha geeri toh haddi toot jaegi.

But naina being Naina didn't care about what he was saying and unfortunately what he was saying came true and the very next moment, she tripped. Naina instantly closed her eyes waiting for her body to hit the cold and hard ground but instead she was caught by her arms in an instant by Sameer and was spun around hitting his rock hard chest.She was still  scared enough to not open her eyes but not feeling any pain, she slowly lifted her eyelashes meeting the piercing gaze of Sameer. Naina's hands were resting on Sameer's chest, while his hands were resting on her waist securing her close to him. Their eyes were locked and their breaths were intermixing. The moment had made them forget about their sorroundings completely. But this little moment was broken unintentionally by Taiji who had rushed out of the house to greet her daughter and son-in-law.

Taiji - Aree Naina meri bach....

But seeing them in that position, she immediately stopped and averting her gaze started looking here and there.
While listening to her voice, Samaina got separated without a second thought, making the moment a little too awkward.

Naina - ( *Trying to avoid the awkwardness* ) Namaste Taiji ( *hugging her* ) Kaisi hain aap? Pata hai bahut miss kiya maine apko

Taiji - ( *caressing her face* ) Aree kaisi hungi tere bina? Kitne samay se ghar nahi ayi thi pata hai ghar ek dum suna suna lag raha tha tere bina

Naina - Koi baat nahi ab main agayi hun na? Ab pehle ki tarah hi poore ghar mein shor machakar sabko pareshan karungi.

Taiji - Chal pagal. Chal ab andar chal yahi par kitni der khadi rahegi? Damad ji ko bhi atka ke rakha hai ajao dono jaldi ab
Damad ji chali ye.

Sameer - Ji chaliye

Taiji smiled at him, and turning around started walking towards the house, followed by Samaina.

All of them were at the moment sitting in the hall, having small talks.

Tauji - Aur Sameer beta kaam theek chal raha hai na?

Sameer - Ji Tauji sab theek chal raha hai abhi toh

Tauji - Waise Jaiprakash ji keh rahe the ki tum kahi India se bahar ja rahe ho kuch dino ke liye?

Naina's ears immediately perked up hearing this, while Sameer tried to take a glance of what expressions were adorning her face on getting this information suddenly. But barely he succeeded in reading her expressions.

Sameer - J-ji Tauji I've some work in Russia so will be going there after a few days

Tauji - Great then! Just take care of yourself, ok?

Sameer - Ji ( *smiled* )

Sameer casting a glance at the clock got to know that it was getting late and they should probably be leaving by now so, not wanting to delay any further, he got up asking for their blessing to leave.

Sameer - ( *folding his hands* ) Acha Tauji Taiji ab hume chalna chahiye. Already bahut late ho chuke hain kabhi baad main zaroor ayenge

Taiji - O bai. Aree par damad ji abhi hi aye toh the aap dono thodi der aur ruk jate toh acha hota

Tauji - Beta aaj yahi ruk jao kal chale jana

Sameer - Na.....

Sameer was about to say something but was interrupted by Naina

Naina - Nahi Taiji - Tauji hum baad mein kabhi ayenge aaj jana padega kaam hai kuch ( *glaring at Sameer* )

Sameer - ( *To himself* ) Aaj Mrs. Impossible Maheshwari ne khud mana kar diya yaha rehne se? Beta Sameer matlab Naina Naina devi ban chuki hai aur tujhe uske prakop se koi nahi bacha sakta. All the best ( *sighs* )

Taiji - Acha beta theek hai par jaldi ana firse tere bina kuch acha nahi lagta

Naina - Aree Taiji yeh bhi koi bolne wali baat hai? Jab bhi aap bolengi bhaag ke aa jaungi ek minute mein ( *toothy smile* )

Taiji - Chal pagal ( *chuckled* )

Tauji - Acha agar jana hi hai tum logo ko fir jaldi niklo warna aur bhi der ho jaegi.

Sameer - Ji Tauji theek keh rahe hain aap

Samaina then touching Tauji and Taiji's feet took their blessings and finally drove off towards their mansion.

The whole ride went by in complete silence, neither of them uttered even a single word and soon enough they reached their destination. As soon as the car stopped Naina sprang to her feet and rushed inside the house in an angry mood. Sameer too followed her and as soon as he entered, he heard her slam their bedroom's door.

Sameer - Baapre itna gussa? Lagta hai aaj Naina devi se bhi koi zyaada khatarnaak side ke darshan home wale hain. Par chalna toh padega hi room mein nachahte hue bhi.
Bhagwan bacha lena bas ek baar.

Sameer slowly opened the door and peeking in saw Naina standing near the window looking out. He entered the room careful enough to not make any sound and stood right behind Naina, with his breath fanning over her shoulder.
Getting the sensation, Naina instantly turned around, locking her piercing gaze with his.

Naina - Why are you going to Russia?

Sameer - Dekho Naina

Naina - I ASKED WHY ARE YOU GOING TO RUSSIA ( *yelled* )

Sameer - ( *sighed* ) Naina mujhe kaam hai yaha pe isliye ja raha hun why are you overreacting?

Naina - I am not. Main overreact nahi karti if it would've been some normal work. But I know it is not. Sameer aapki jaan khatre main hogi waha par right?

Sameer - Haa. But tumhe kaise pata?

Naina - Kyunki agar normal business meting hoti toh aap bina hichkichaye mujhe yeh baat bol chuke hote. ( *turned away from him* )

Sameer got even closer to her and backhugging her kissed her earlobe making her melt into the touch

Sameer - ( *Backhugging her* ) Am sorry maine tumhe bataya nahi but it's important.

Naina turned around again to face him but this time her eyes were a little teary though she was trying to not let them fall, one drop had disobeyed her trickling down her cheek.
Sameer noticing her got a little worried and holding her face in his hands gently wiped the teardrop.

Sameer - Hey! You don't have to cry.

Naina - I know. Par main kuch nahi kar sakti my past still affects me and main rona nahi chahti but the thought of loosing you makes me cry I don't know why.

Sameer - Suno don't stress yourself so much kuch nahi hoga mujhe. This has been my life from I don't know how much time.

Naina - Kya main bhi ja sakti hun apke saath?

Sameer - What?! Nahi! Naina main picnic par nahi ja raha hun am going on a bloody mission tum waha jaake kya karogi? Hamara score ginogi?

Naina - Mu-mujhe nahi pata main kya karungi, what's the point in living here jab aap paas nahi honge, I'll be in danger as well

Sameer - Par Naina main is baar security increase kar dunga taki tum safe raho

Naina - Aur nahi rahi toh? Agar un logo ne mujh par aatack karne ka koi dusra tareeka dhund liya toh? N what if they kill m-

But before she could complete the sectence, Sameer kept his finger on her lips and shushed her.

Sameer - Nahi that won't happen. Ever. I swear. ( *sighed* )Fine. I don't think main tumse argument mein kabhi bhi jeet paunga. Hum 4 din baad yaha se niklenge so pack up your things.

Naina squealed in happiness and hugging him tightly for once, started arranging her things.

Sameer - ( *To himself* ) Wish I was so excited for my work.

The next morning was quite normal, Sameer was currently sitting in his cabin, looking through a pile of papers when his phone started ringing. He looked at the caller ID, raised his eyebrows and picked up the call.

Sameer - Hello Miss. D'Souza. Any specific reason for calling me?

Candle - Not really, bas suna tha ki apke ghar par recently koi attack hua.
Har jagah faili hui hai yeh khabar toh, socha ek baar pooch lun if everything is alright.

Sameer - Yes, everything is just fine you don't need to worry about anything.

Candle - ( * To herself* ) Par how can I not worry about something  that's related to you?

Sameer - Waise we'll be there after about four days

Candle - I'll be waiting for you....but ek-ek minute what do you mean by "we" ?

Sameer - Me and my wife Naina Maheshwari.

Candle - Kya?! Tum use saath nahi la sakte!! I-I mean how can you put her life at stake?

Sameer - Don't worry she'll be safe with me not that she is safe here either.

Candle - ( *To herself* ) What the heck?! Maine socha tha atleast kuch din Sameer ke saath akele samay bita paungi but his wife spoiled my whole plan. Par nahi I'll not let my plan get spoiled so easily.

Sameer - We'll meet in a few days, it was nice talking to you Miss. D'souza.
