Sameer - Good. Main wait kar raha hun, jaldi aao.

Both of them started on their way to the next hiding spot. Naina was the first one to reach and within a few minutes Sameer too reached the place.

Naina - Sameer ab kya kare?

Sameer - Ab-

Sameer was about to say something but was interrupted by the sound of the phone. A video was sent from chachiji's number, Naina opened it suspiciously and indeed it was sent by Sunaina.

Naina - WHAT THE HELL?!

Sameer - Kya hua?!

Naina - Sunaina played her trick again. Hamare peeche aane ki jagah she kidnapped the family members!

Suddenly the phone rang again and a location showed up.

Sameer - Usne hume yaha bulaya hai?

Naina - Yeh toh wahi area hai na jo jangalo se ghira hai n ek cliff ke paas hai?

Sameer - Haan...fir jo hoga aaj raat hi hoga yah toh aaj hum jeetenge ya fir yeh hamari zindagi ki akhri raat hogi...

Naina hugged Sameer as both of them closed their eyes to absorb the moment in their heart. Sameer kissed Naina on the top of her head while she softly called him and unexpectedly started apologizing.

Naina - Sameer? Sorry meri wajah se aap bhi is sab mein fas gaye. Meri wajah se apki jaan par bhi khatra aa gaya, shayad agar main apki zindagi mein kabhi ati hi nahi toh aaj aap kisi aur ke saath khush hot... ( *Voice started breaking in the end* )

Sameer - Naina, tumhari koi galti nahi hai. Aur shaadi ke waqt jo vacchan liye the humne wo yaad nahi tumhe? Main hamesha tumhare saath rahunga in your good days and in your bad days. Aur thank you meri zindagi mein aane ke liye, mujhe laga nahi tha ki mom and dad ki death ke baad, mein firse kabhi bhi life ko enjoy kar paunga, firse khul ke has paunga, but hamari nok-jhok mein pata nahi kab mujhe firse hasna aa gaya, the ice in my heart started melting and pata nahi us nok-jhok mein kab mujhe tumse pyaar ho gaya.

Haan Naina mujhe bhi kuch dino pehle hi realize hua ki I can no longer live without seeing your cute antics, without our small fights, without you.
Thank you coming into my life and making me fall in love aur aaj shayad tumare saath maar bhi gaya main toh I won't regret but agar tumhe kuch hogaya toh mein zinda nahi reh paunga. Paagal ho jaunga main, mar jaunga main tumhare bina.

Naina - Sameer...

Sameer - Shh! Kuch mat bolo, I don't think I am ready yet to hear your rejection ( *chuckled* )

Naina - SAMEER, I-I LOVE YOU TOO. Main kabhi reject karne ka soch bhi nahi sakti. Just like you mujhe bhi pata nahi chala kab tumse pyaar ho gaya ab nahi lagta ki akeli reh paungi main tumhare bina, I love you, and I'll love you forever. ( *Sniffled* )

Tears trickled down their eyes as they hugged each other and listened to each other's heart, beating like crazy in the silence of the night. The moon seemed lovely today, way more beautiful and bright than other days, maybe it was their love or the uncertainty of life and death that made them feel that way but whatever it was, along with everything, one thought was constant in their mind - " If we're to die today, we are going to die together" "Even if life tries to separate us, we won't be separated, and will stick to each other's side even in death and if something called rebirth exists, then we'll find each other again and thus our story will continue even after death and in the life after" .

Sameer - ( *broke the hug* ) Naina ( *sniffled* ) Hamari shaadi itni jaldi mein hui thi ki engagement ka mauka hi nahi mila. ( *Pulled out something out of his pocket* ) I had planned to give this to you after everything was over but shayad aaj ke baad wo mauka mile na mile, so ( *got down on his knees* ) Naina ( *holding out an engagement ring* ) will you stay with me forever? Will be allow me to love you for eternity? To stay with you no matter where you go? Will you be mine and make me yours Naina?

Naina covered her mouth in shock as tears flowed out of her eyes unstoppably. Words weren't coming out of her mouth and with great difficulty, she managed to whisper a yes, nod her head and stretch her hand out for him to place the ring on her finger.

Both of them smiled at each other and Sameer brought out another ring which Naina placed on his finger.
Both of them looked at each other with eyes filled with love and inching their faces closer, finally kissed each other. Sameer's hand moved behind Naina's waist, while her hand slowly ruffled his hair. And after a minute or two of trying to intensely devour each other, they separated to breathe and touched their foreheads while panting for air. Their fingers were still interlocked as the gentle breeze trickled them both.

Sameer - Chalein?

Naina - Hmm...

Sameer kissed Naina's forehead and sitting in the car, both of them started their journey towards their destination. They were still holding each other's hand and no matter what they were determined to not leave each other.

Finally after a few minutes of driving, they reached the destination. The walk through the forest took them about 5 minutes after which they were near the cliff where they found Naina's family members tied up and being threatened while Sunaina was waiting for them.

Sunaina - Ah welcome! Aap dono ka hi toh wait kar rahe the hum sab.

Naina - Get to the point!

Sunaina - Heartless as always, anyways even I would prefer that. Jump!

Sameer - Seems like you have finally lost it

Sunaina - Haa! Don't you both realize what situation you are in? You dare to act arrogant infront of me?

Naina - What do you mean by jump?

Sunaina - Jaisa maine bola. Jump from here. Tum dono ko kya laga yaha maine tum dono ko yeh scenery dikhane ke liye bulaya hai? You both aren't this dumb as much as I know atleast.

Naina - We won't let you have your way.

Sunaina - Oh really? Do you have a choice? I don't think so

Sunaina smiled like a maniac and without thinking, fired a bullet aiming for the ground right beside where taiji was held hostage.

Sunaina - That was intentional. Next bullet sidha sir mein utregi

Chachiji - Sunaina yeh theek nahi kar rahi hai tu, bhagwaan maaf nahi karega tujhe ( *screaming* )

Sunaina - Shh!  Aap sabko kya lagta hai? I am scared of the bullsh*t called karma? I am not scared of anything, not the god, not the devil, not anything. No one can stop me. NO ONE!

NOW JUMP!

Sunaina - Tum dono choose kar sakte ho. Either jump and I'll spare the lives of your family members ya fir unko ek ek kr apne samne marta dekho. The choice is yours

Chachaji - Nahi beta! Khabardaar agar apni jaan dene ki sochi bhi toh

Tauji - Beta please koodna mat tum dono ke bina hum bhi zinda nahi reh payenge

Taiji - Bacho humne bahut duniya dekh li hai ab marr bhi gaye toh koi gum nahi hai par tum dono ko hamare liye apni jaan dete nahi dekh sakte hum

Sunaina - ohooo~ family moment chal raha hai, ek dusre ke liye jaan dene ke liye tayaar hain sab but kya karein mere paas zyaada time nahi hai so I'll count till 10 agar uske andar tum dono nahi koode then main samjhungi ki you both decided to sacrifice those sweet, little family members of yours. Hmm? ( *Smiled* ) So? Jaldi, ab tum logo ke paas bhi zyaada time nahi bacha

Chachiji - Nahi bacho please mat jao...

( * Samaina took a step forward* )

Chachiji - Nahi! Peeche jao dono! Khabardaar aage ane ki sochi bhi toh

Samaina finally started walking and despite the constant screams and protests of the family members, they didn't stop and by the 8th count both of them were standing by the cliff.

Both of them looked at the family members who were, by now a crying mess and then at each, with a loving gaze.

They both hugged each other and inhaling deeply

10, jumped the moment she said 10.

Everyone immediately screamed their names and loosing their minds started bawling.

As they were falling, they clutched on to each other tightly and instead of fear on the face of death, they were smiling and were at peace knowing that they were with each other even in their "last moments". They fell, piercing the cold wind and soon got lost somewhere in the silence of that long cold night.
" And they lived happily ever after" was a line both of them had read since they were young which they believed was the only happy ending but that day they got to know about another happy ending
" And they died peacefully in each other's embrace".
