Later, Sameer neither came home at night, nor Naina went out of the room to eat something. The day was ruined for both of them, but neither could do anything knowing that they still weren't prepared to hear the explanations of each other.

Next morning :

Naina woke up in the morning at her usual time but with a severe headache.

Naina - ( *holding her forehead* ) Yeh mera sar itne zyaada dard kyun kar raha hai?

She looked around the room but to her surprise Sameer was not there.

Naina - Sameer abhi tak wapas nahi aye? Ya fir wapas aakar bhi room mein nahi aye?
Jakar dekhna padega.

Naina got out from the bed and started walking towards the hall. She was still holding her forehead and was having difficulty in walking.
She finally reached the hall but again there was no trace of Sameer.

Naina - Sameer yaha par bhi nahi hain? Kahi iska matlab yeh toh nahi ki wo kal se ghar aye hi nahi.
Munna ko call karke puchti hun agar unhe kuch pata ho Sameer ke baare mein.

Naina - ( Calls Munna ) Hello Munna wo apko Sameer ke baare mein kuch pata hai kya? Matlab wo kaha hai ya kuch?

Munna - Nahi bhabhi mujhe toh nahi pata kyun kya hua hai?

Naina - Na na kuch nahi bas aise hi wo kal raat se ghar nahi aye hain toh mujhe laga shayad apke saath honge

Munna - Nahi bhabhi mere saath bhi nahi hai wo. Par aap chinta mat kijiye wo kisi kaam se hi gaya hoga agar mujhe kuch pata chalega uske baare mein toh bata dunga main apko.

Naina - Acha theek hai fir. Rakhti hu main.

Munna - Haan bhabhi ( Disconnected the call ).

Munna - Kamine bhabhi se jhoot kyun bolne bola?
Munna - Hua kya hai tum dono ke beech? Tujhe pata bhi hai kitni pareshan lag rahi thi wo?

Sameer - Abe bhabhi ke chamche chup kar. Mujhe us se baat nahi karni matlab nahi karni.

Munna - Par kyun?

Sameer - Tujhe wo jaan ne ki zaroorat nahi. Bas itna samajh le ki maine jis baat ke liye mana kiya tha usne wohi baat ki

Munna - Aisa kya kar diya bhabhi ne? ( *smirked* )

Sameer - ( *slapping the back of his head* ) Chuze tu negetive hi soch sirf.

Munna - Bhai sun. Tujhe khudko bhi yaad hai ki tune kitne rules banaye hain? Aur unhe follow karna kisi normal insaan ke baat hi nahi hai.

Sameer - Jo bhi ho mujhe bas itna pata hai ki wo mere khilaaf gayi hai aur mujhe us se bilkul baat nahi karni hai

Munna - Tu confirm toh hai na ki tu 25 ka hai?

Sameer - ( *narrowed his eyes* ) kya matlab?

Munna - Matlab chhodd tu, mujhe kuch kaam hai toh main chalta hun tu bhi office ja aur haa jaldi ghar chale jaiyo aaj bhabhi ki awaz se aisa lag raha tha jaise tabiyat theek nahi hai unki

Sameer - KYA NAINA KI TABIYAT THEEK NAHI HAI?!! ( *fake cough* ) m-m-mera matlab hai ki mujhe farq nahi padta uski tabiyat se mujhe jab jana hoga ghar tab chala jaunga.

Munna - Theek hai mere baap jab jana ho chale jana waise bhi kaun hi tujhse aaj tak argument mein jeet paya hai ( To himself ) Naina bhabhi ke alawa

Sameer - Kya kaha?!

Munna - Mm-maine? Maine kaha kuch kaha? Kuch bhi toh nahi ( *fake laugh* ) kuch bhi toh nahi

Sameer - Theek hai ja raha hun main office. Naina ka call wapas aye toh bol dena office mein hun main

Instructing Munna, Sameer finally left the Maheshwari Mansion and drove off to his office. But at this moment, both his mind and heart were at a war. With his mind saying him to continue his work, while his heart screaming and urging him to go to Naina. Though he used to sometimes scold her, he had become much acqainted to her presence and had even started caring about her, maybe a little. And knowing that she was probably sick was making his heart to urge him even more to see her.

Naina was busy preparing the lunch. Her condition had worsened by now. Along with the headache, she was feeling nauseous and was having fever. But thinking that, working will probably divert her attention away from her health, she kept working.
Just then Sameer entered the house.

Sameer - Naina! Kaha ho tum?

Naina - Sameer? Lagta hai finally Sameer ka gussa thanda hogaya

She ran out of kitchen wiping her hands with a towel.

Sameer - ( To himself ) Dekh kar toh lag raha hai bilkul theek hai. Lag nahi raha tabiyat kharab hai. Lagta hai Munna ne fir se jhoot bola. Aaj dekha hun use. Beta ab khudko bacha sakta hai toh bacha le ( *smirked* ).

Naina - ( *Thinking* ) Yeh pagal toh nahi ho gaye? Aise khade khade bin matlab ke kaun hasta hain? Chhoddo yeh aur inki baate mujhe kya kisiko bhi kabhi samajh nahi ayengi.

Naina - Acha hua aap agaye. Aap fresh ho jaiye main khana lagati hun.

Sameer - Hn? Ha-haan.

After getting freshened up, Sameer came back to the hall for having his lunch. He had even brought a few papers along, for completing his work. Naina came out of the kitchen holding the dishes for serving him. But as soon as she reached near the dining table, her expressions changed seeing the gun kept on the table.
Sameer noticed her changing expressions and smirked seeing them.

Sameer - Kya hua? Daro mat tumhare liye nahi hai. ( *smirked* ).

Naina - Ha-haan pata hai. Woh main bol rahi thi ki kaam baad mein kar lijiega pehle khana kha lijiye.

Sameer - Haan kha lunga main jao tum.

Naina - Aree par kaam toh baad mein bhi ho sakta hai na apne kal se kuch nahi khaya hoga, kha lijiye.

Sameer - Kaha na kha lunga. Waise bhi mujhe kuch nahi hoga adat pad chuki hai ab.

Naina - Par adat badli bhi toh ja sakti hai na. Zaroori toh nahi har adat waisi hi rahe.

Sameer - Par mujhe nahi badalni meri koi bhi adat toh please meri life mein dakhalandazi karna band karo tum aur tum bhi khana khalo mera kaam khatam ho jayega toh main kha lunga.

Naina - Theek hai. Apki jo marzi kijiye. Bas paani nai diya apko wo de deti hun fir mujhe farq nahi padega chahe aap khaye ya fir apne kaam mein hi doob jayen.

Naina filled the glass with water and was about to keep it in front of him but just then her head started paining unbearably and the glass slipping out of her hands fell directly on Sameer.

Sameer - ( *Getting up from the seat* ) WHAT THE?!!!

Sameer - ( *Started yelling at her* ) Tumse ek kaam theek se nahi hota na? Meri ek important meeting hai aaj aur tumhari wajah se main life mein first time ke liye late ho jaunga. Aur agar kaam theek se nahi hota hai toh mat kiya karo na maine rakha hua tha na logo ko yeh sab kaam karne ke liye par nahi tumhe toh sab kuch khud hi karna hota hai. Aur hamesha koi na koi badi problem create karni hoti hai. You are such a disaster....

Naina's was already having an unbreable headache and on the top of it, Sameer started yelling at her which made everything even worse. And Naina out if frustration, finally lost the control, she had over herself. And in the blink of an eye, she picked up the gun from the table, unlocked it and positioned it right in front of Sameer's head, ready to kill him any moment. Dead silence fell in the whole mansion for a moment, before Naina finally spoke.

Naina - Kya disaster? Haan? Aur bas paani gir gaya isliye aap itna gussa ho gaye par ek baar bhi aapke dimaag mein yeh khayal aya ki kyun gira? Mera sar achanak se dard karne lag gaya tha isliye.
Aur aane ke baad ek baar bhi poocha mujhse ki main kaisi hun? Tabiyat theek hai ya nahi? Nahi. Aur kyun puchenge? Lagti hi kya hun main apki? Aur The great Sameer Maheshwari, yeh sab thodi puchte hain kisiko . Mujhe laga ki shayad agar main kuch na bolu aur hamara bond better karne ka try karu then maybe aap bhi badlenge. Maybe apni feelings bataenge mujhe. Maybe sab share karenge.
But nahi I was wrong
I was wrong all this time.
NOBODY CAN CHANGE YOU MR MAHESHWARI. Neither you can care about anyone.

Sameer - Nain...

Naina - CHUP! Bilkul chup! Aaj bas aap sunenge aur bolne ki galti toh kijiyega mat warna mujhse yeh gun chal bhi jaegi aur mujhe afsos bhi nahi hoga.

Naina - ( *tears started forming in her eyes* ) Maybe kal maine apki privacy disturb ki thi maybe mujhe us room mein nahi jana chahiye tha. Par that was unintentional. Kisine mujhe bataya nahi tha us room ke baare mein toh mujhe pata chalta kaise?

Tears started rolling down Naina's cheeks while Sameer was still staring at her in shock.

Naina - Par apne kuch samajhne ki koshish ki? Nahi. Balki mujhe hi suna diya. Aur day 1 se jitna bhi main hamara rishta sudharne ki koshish kar rahi hun aap utna hi bigaadne ki koshish kar rahe hain. Koi bhi rishta ek side se nahi chalta mr. Maheshwari use dono ko nibhana padta hai. Par aap, aap toh kuch samajh te hi nahi bas jab chaha daant diya yaad kijiye kabhi kuch bhi pyaar se poocha hai? aree baat tak ki hai kabhi dhang se mujshe? NAHI! ( *Starts crying* )

Sameer - Naina ( *Was about to go and hold her* )

Naina - STAY. AWAY. FROM. ME

With that Naina glanced at him for one last time, before fainting and collapsing on the floor.

Sameer - NAINAAAA!!!

Sameer immediately rushed towards her, and picking her up, brought her to their room. He placed her on the bed and started rubbing her palms, hoping her to regain consciousness.

Sameer - Ise toh bahut tez bukhar hai. Naina, naina please apni ankhe kholo. I swear main firse kabhi bhi tumhare saath rudely behave nahi karunga. Main tumhari har baat manunga. Tum jo kahogi wo karunga. Please open your eyes
Do-doc-doctor ha-haan mujhe doctor ko call karna chahiye.

By now Sameer had started crying. He was crying again after ages, but that was the last thing he could care about at the moment. He immediately called the doctor.

Sameer - Hello doctor please jaldi aiye. Meri wife behosh ho gayi hai.

Doctor - Par Maheshwari ji main toh abhi chutti par hun aur apne ghar par hun. Toh main kaise?.....

Sameer - I DON'T CARE aap kaha par ho. Am sending a car to your house aur agar apko zinda rehna hai then jald se jald yaha pahunchiye. Warna kal ka din apni coffin ke andar se hi dekh lena aur apko bhi ache se pata aur mujhe bhi ki main aisa kar sakta hun. SAMJHE!

Doctor - J-ji Ma-Maheshwari ji main ab-abhi waha pahunchta h-hun.

Sameer - JALDI!

With that Sameer disconnected the call, and instructing the driver, again started trying ways to wake Naina up. But nothing was working. And seeing his Naina in such a condition was killing him little by little.
