"Ugh, why can't I just stay back at our house?" Mark whines beside Yuta, getting bored by the second as they wait for a call from Lee's secretary.

"It's not 'our' house." Jaemin quotes with his fingers as he emphasizes the word, sitting at the curve part of the long couch.

"Johnny gave it to us and said it's ours for the meantime of this assignment." Mark fights back at the younger boy who's just a few centimeters away from him.

Yuta glares at them, "keep your voice down when mentioning those things," he hisses as he almost breaks a smile when Mark gulps beside him.

"Mark, you can't just stay back and neither can Jaemin. I need back up. Besides, you two can look around, take notes of anything interesting while I'm talking to Lee."

"I fucking hope the daughter gets picked." Jaemin couldn't help but mutter, loud enough for his peers to hear but not for others.

Mark raises a brow as Yuta looks amused, "what's wrong with the son?" The elder boy asks.

"I don't know, I just have a feeling it'll be quite a handful if it's him." Jaemin replies.

"You haven't even met him in person yet." Yuta deadpans, although he lets out a quiet chuckle at the end.

"Gut feeling, hyung." Jaemin said, leaning back on the backrest of the couch as he sighs deeply.

Mark snorts, shaking his head. "I personally think he'll be great, if anything, he seems to be more easier than his sister." He comments.

Getting a look from Jaemin, Mark winks at him. "Gut feeling, Jaem." He repeats the younger boy's words from just a second ago.

The younger raven haired boy rolls his eyes. "Okay, quit arguing about who's a better target between Lee's children. Let's just see how this will go first." Yuta scolds them.

"And let's be professionals too, whoever he's going to pick–" Mark pauses when Yuta eyes him, "if this first part goes well," adding on to please the elder boy.

"We'll make use of them, doesn't matter if it's the daughter or the son. Be grateful we got through the first step."

Nodding off, they went quiet for a moment until the lady from earlier when they arrived, comes up to them with a friendly smile as she grips the folder in her arms.

"Mr. Lee is available now, you may follow me to the room he's in to start your meeting, gentlemen." She politely says as the three men stand up, following her as told.

"Thank you so much for agreeing to this, Mr. Lee. We needed your help and hesitated at first since you're a busy man," Yuta said while shaking Lee's hand as they both bowed at each other.

They couldn't believe it, not only are they facing and interacting the CEO of "Crown Theater Entertainment". But that's also their target, who've ever so foolishly fallen onto the trap.

Lee smiles at him, so genuine and friendly, his eyes crinkling while at it.

The exact opposite of the smile he's receiving from the three guests. Totally fake and deceiving.

"It's no worries, Sir Nakamoto. It's my pleasure to help those in need, I sympathize and understand your struggles. Therefore, I'm willing to help." The elder man wholeheartedly said.

"With money?" It wasn't a joke. But Lee thought it was as he and his secretary giggle at Yuta's question.

Jaemin nudges his peers – or pretend parents – gesturing for them to laugh along although they know the true meaning of it all.

They can't be looking odd or suspicious just after Lee has fallen onto the trap.

Calming down, Lee pats Yuta's shoulder. "You're a funny one, Sir Nakamoto." He compliments as the said man chuckles along.

"However, it's not totally wrong as I spend most of my wealth for others and my family's well-being instead of keeping it all to myself." He says, seemingly proud of himself.

Well, he should be. As he's one of those rare people nowadays who aren't greedy and selfish human beings, having no heart for anyone else but themselves.

Unfortunately, unbeknownst to him, he's in the same room with three men who's a part of those very common people.

"Oh, that's good to hear, Sir Lee. Very admirable," Mark says as him and his peers fight the urge to roll their eyes and just take their weapons out to end this assignment quickly.

But of course they can't, they're not the ones in charge. They'll surely get in trouble if they did that and Johnny gets informed about it the next second.

So they reluctantly stay still and not choose to go on their own way of handling assignments. Instead, following by the rules and agreement Johnny has told them.

Lee smiles in thanks before saying, "however, please give me time to talk this out with my kids. I can't just randomly pick one of them to be partnered up with your son."

Oh how badly does Jaemin want to curse and threaten their target, demanding to pick the one he wants.

Smiling back, a plastic smile on that makes his cheeks start to ache, Mark nods in understanding. "Oh of course, Sir Lee. We understand where you're coming from."

"Thank you, Mark-ssi. But don't worry about them refusing, I raised my kids to be understanding and see the good in people. And I can surely say you three have good intentions with us."

"And I can surely say what a fucking idiot you are, Sir Lee." Yuta thinks to himself.

Yet he's not that wrong, although he worded it out rudely, Sir Lee is kinda too easy to lure in.

Because what the man had said about them is so, so wrong.

"I'll share this information with them once I get home, and then we'll see who will be Jaemin-ssi's fiancé." They all silently nodded, forced out smiles on display.

"Since we've exchanged numbers already, we'll be waiting for your news." Mark was the first to speak up after a long pause.

Lee then hums in agreement, "we can meet at a not so crowded café, first meeting of Jaemin-ssi and one of my children."

After several more words exchanged to get a bit more information, Yuta decided to end this with a forced polite, "Once again, we thank you so much, Sir Lee, for all of this. Thank you for your time today."

"The pleasure is all mine, Nakamoto family. Have a great day," Lee replies and gestures at his secretary beside him. "Sooyoung, please escort them to the exit."

And off the three men go, biting back a mischievous grin on their faces.
