After summer rose and tai xiao long broke a scroll that had an unstable app on it they walked their kids Ruby rose and Yang xaio long home making them believe that the app distracted them almost hurting them. When they got home they noticed ruby looking at the woods with a strange look on her face. Summer walked to her daughter and asked what's wrong, "Ruby you ok?" Ruby only smiled at her mother then waved to no one at the woods before walking inside.

"Hey ruby who were you waving to in the woods?" Her mom tai asked, ruby then had a smile on her face as she looked at her parents, "Oh I was just saying hi to Y/n." Suddenly tai and summer started to panic as tai took the girls to ruby room and stayed in there while summer looked around outside finding no sign of anyone being there at all. When she came back ruby only chuckled leaving her parents confused.

"Mom, tai Y/n can't be seen he's invisible." Her parents were still confused until they realized that Y/n is just ruby's imaginary friend, this calmed the parents knowing that they were just superstitious. For 5 years ruby had Y/n as her imaginary friend until she turned 10. Soon she was sad and told her mom's that Y/n had to go since he believed ruby can take care of herself, but promised to come back.

7 years later and ruby was 17 going to beacon. As she and yang were walking into Beacon a strange figure watched them. The figure stood in a tree in the shadows watching the sisters explore. Then the figure chuckled in a glitchy voice, "Don't worry you two..."
