You've been an agent of Security Homeland Enforcement Intervention and Logistics Division for a little bit now. It was also shortened to Shield not too long ago, which was a breath saver. If you had to guess it's been at least two months since Phil showed up to introduce you. Since then you've been on a wild ride.

At the ripe age of 20, you were entered into a Shield training program. That meant you could safely transition away from your transphobic, and just generally awful family.

And why would Shield ever pick you for the program? Your best guess was that you religiously emailed your cousin about needing a job. And then they turned out to be working as an agent and vouched for you.

Of course there were a few road bumps during training. On the very first week, you learned that wearing a binder while training was going to get you destroyed by the other knife-wielding agent, who could, in fact, breathe just fine.

There were a couple of other trans agents on the Helicarrier, so they taught you the ropes. Before then your knowledge was not the best; the briefest of introductions in health class and bits of conversation to openly out people.  Searching the internet was not an option, because overbearing parents.

You met Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton the starting month, which terrified you. They were the people that were mentioned in training drills and lessons as incentive to work harder.

Sadly, they were only there to give a hardcore session to the newbies. Orders of Mr.Fury.

Over the couple of months you've been on the airship, you thrived. Apparently you've been a rising star in basic classes as an infiltrator. The director caught wind and came to oversee how you actually were.

He stood next to the trainer, decked in his general black trench coat. Awkwardly you did your pre-mission routine, while skirting around a highly possible panic attack.

Tight breaths fell from your lips as you finished your jog. You need to calm down. But he was right there

If that wasn't bad enough, he started approaching you. Straightening your back you met his fear inducing eye.

"Agent, I was talking to trainer Leander and we've come to the conclusion that you should try training and doing mission work with the avengers for a month."

To shochked to speak, your reply was a slow exhale followed by a small, "Of course."

The thought terrified you. Working with well know heroes could possibly out you to the world. All you wanted was to stay stealth. Shield could keep a secret, but the Avengers were all over the news. Someone would notice you're voice was still light, your chest wasn't right, or find your lack of facial hair odd.

But this wasn't an offer you could drop.

That's how you ended up sitting in a meeting room with Steve Freaking Rogers, Tony Fluffing Stark, Thor Fricking god of thunder, and the flipping duo of fearsome agents. Your mind was a broken record, just repeating holy fuck, oh shit, oh gosh, its them, and other thoughts like those.

Fury had taken your maybe as a yes, and was explaining to the avengers what is going to happen. Every so often you got a glance and you awkwardly looked away to avoid eye contact.

After zoning out, time passed a little too quickly. You heard a small cough and looked up. They had stood up and were staring at you.

"What are we doing?", You said in a sheepishly getting up as well.

Tony Stark answered while pointing in the direction of the shoreline, "We're heading to the tower kiddo, pack whatever you need, and meet us at hanger 13."

Nodding you rushed out of the room and headed to your quarters. Throwing a few suits onto the bed made you realize how little you really had still. Then, you finally reached what was eating on your mind during the meeting. A few binders and pads sat innocently in the back of the closet.

How the heck were you supposed to keep this a secret. There was no time to ponder this so you threw them with the rest of your cloth and zipped your case. You were lucky to be passing at all. It's only been a month and you weren't even sure if people were only being polite.

Boy you weren't gonna kid yourself. This was going to be tough.

Annnd that's a wrap. Hopefully, you liked it and all. Willing to do a part 2.
