for every time I cry

i'll plant the seeds in my eyes.

i'll plant my own garden

and it's soon that i'll need to start it.

beautiful, bright

reminds me of the sun

better than all the flowers

why can't i always be like one?

i'm too dark,

and i need a little sun.

sun shine on me, with lots of love.

sunflowers, they're my tissues,

they're my friends.

and even though it's hard to see,

i think everyone has a little sunflower in them.
