A Villain Deku fanfic!

And a good one at that! It's not one of those fanfics that made Deku the most cliche boring horrible villain so that is a huge relief.

The writing for this fanfic is simple yet great and easy to understand even though it pulls off some things that are a bit questionable such as Izuku implanting himself with quirks yet the main series kinda did that too so I can hold it against it. And it's pretty cool to see Izuku use multiple quirks that he manages to gain over the years.

Anyway, Izuku snaps when All Might told him he can't be a hero and Izuku, understandably, said that All Might did not live up who he's said to be, as a symbol that inspires everyone to be what they can be. And All Might said that Izuku can't be a hero, failing what he represents.

So in retaliation, Izuku forms a revolution after he infiltrates the league, learning about All For One and One For All, killing the LOV which makes me sad and happy since Toga, Shigaraki and some others die but sad that Twice died. Dabi lives though because he's apart of the Phoenix Revolution (Love the Resistance Name).

It manages to pull some convincing circumstances and twists that made sense such as making a student join the Dark Side.

So how does Izuocha fit into this?

Well, other than the careful pacing, believable intentions, and motives for these two characters to fall in love. It's the setup and conclusion.

Izuku gets One For All by taking All Might's DNA and Injecting it to himself.

However, All might choose a successor. And it's not Mirio (thank goodness. screw that guy. and just like that, Mirio stans are coming after me.)

Its Ochako.

Which for once, is such a new breath of fresh air. While Ochako getting One For All is not new at all in fanfiction, this version has been done right without it feeling cringe (i hate that word so much) and she actually does some cool stuff that has relevance to the story.

While they have seen each other before, they never really sat down and talk until they start sharing dreams with each other. That explains thanks to One For All. Since they both share the same quirk, they share the same properties and since One For All makes the user go into a dream-like world when they sleep at times(or when they don't sleep at rare points), so it makes sense.

They both have an understanding with each other thanks to a drive-through of seeing each other's memories. Ochako understands his motivations and intentions yet disagrees with how's he's doing it. And Izuku understands her goal and intentions of being a hero, he respects her, heck in a way he admires her for it.

Also, Izuku saves Eri from Overhaul and becomes her Dad, and Ochako became her Mom which is always a big plus since it's so great and the care that was handled is spectacular. I love Eri in this Fanfic.

And the fights are great!

And the way Izuku was portrayed was realistic as well, he may have a bunch of powerful quirks but he never fully mastered them so, in terms of combat, he could lose to a hero who's in the top 10 in terms of skills. Since he spends his time trying to revive his dead mother, it's obvious he hasn't spent much time on training and mastering the quirks he gained.

My favorite fight is the last one, and I won't say what it is because I really recommend that you'll should read it!

Of course, it ends in a cliffhanger in the most unimaginative way of dealing with Izuku in the end but thankfully, there were many hints that foreshadows the events of the sequel so I won't hold it against it that much.

Very excited about the sequel too!
