RICH MUTATIO

"Are you guys planning to lose?" Ryle questioned.

"Yup," I nodded. "You guys obviously suck and it's more interesting if the last game is a tiebreaker."

Capture the Flag was the game we really wanted to win. They beat us before and we were not letting them win this rematch. Especially when the teachers were watching.

According to the letter, we would lose Hardpoint. Even though Capture the Flag would be a close game, in the end, we would taste defeat because we were too injured as a result of this game. We never cared about winning Hardpoint from the start so it wasn't hard convincing my friends to sit this one out.

Seymour leaned against a railing. "I wish we came here when there was no snow. The colour of nature is supposed to be green, not white."

"Yeah," Charlie agreed. "I hope the snow melts soon so that we can... Seymour Greene!"

Charlie fell on his knees laughing at his own joke.

"Mallory," I said, "As your leader, I order you to karate chop him."

After receiving a blow to the back of the head, Charlie bowed to me. "I'm sorry, m'lord."

"This isn't a feudal system! You don't have to do that!"

The seventh graders' The Karate Kid plan went up in smoke. Even though they won, it was a victory handed to them which made it worthless.

I don't know how and why I can see into the future, and frankly I don't care. But I can't deny that it comes in handy from time to time.
