Yohane's POV

It has been two days since Aqours gathered to conduct new magical spells via ceremonial rituals (in other words, idol practice). I can't sleep.

Now it's the third day - I CAN'T SLEEP!!!

God, I've lost a lot of my strength ever since. I tried multiple ways, multiple potions, spells and rituals in order to put my mind at rest. Nothing worked.

I lied on the bed, tried to close my eyes and sleep. It didn't work.

JESUS CHRIST WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!

RIIIIIIINNNNGGGG!!!

Suddenly my phone rang. It is about 11:43 PM, sitting next at a window I glared at the moon shining brightly in the night. Very suspicious.

"Who dares disturb the almighty Yohane?!! Speak mortal!!!"

".....Yoooooccchaaan....."

"Huh!!? Riri!!? What troubles you!!?"

"I can't sleep. I just thought if anyone else is awake."

"Ahh. You're not alone, my mana has been drained from all the magics conducted by Chika-san. I cannot sleep as well."

"....hehe....how sweet...."

"(blush)??? Riri, you okay?"

"Sorry, Yocchan. I just feel the same way. All that practice tired me out too."

"Oh.....well anyway, what brings you to contact me!!?"

"Help me find a way to sleep, Yocchan."

I guess I am not the only one feeling weakness after all.

"Ahhh....I see....I shall chant a spell to bring you to rest!!! Ehem - "

It must be fate for Riri-chan to feel the same stress as I have right now. Better do something about it.

"Umm....what do you mean - "

"I've found my target. You can never run away....(I sang Strawberry Trapper in a different way. Slowed it down and added melody as if it were a lullaby song.)"

"Wow....hehe....I like this version, Yocchan."

"berry....you like it!? Well then, how do you feel now?"

"I still don't feel sleepy at all. Hold on, let me play a song for you too."

"Oh....okay....Riri...."

Riri sat on her piano and started singing. I heard both Riri's sweet voice and her piano keys' majestic tones.

"Yume no tobira.....(Riko sang a slower, more relaxing version.)"

"Wow.....sounds so nice......."

"I am so glad you liked it...."

"Really.....really....nice......zzzzzzz"

"Yocchan?"

Before I knew it, Riri's voice brought to sleep.

Zzzzzzz.....

Then I had a dream. Riri holding on to me as she laid my head on her lap. With her angelic wings covering me as she sang.

Then....she reached to my ears and said: "Sleep well, my fallen angel....I love you. (kiss)"

I had a very majestic time......zzzzz

Riko's POV

After singing to Yocchan, I was able to sleep well. I wondered what happened to her though.

I woke up the next day at 7:13 AM.

At school, I was discussing with Mari-san about our next song.

"Our next song should somewhat wake people's spirits."

"How, Mari-san!?"

Then suddenly, Hanamaru bursted in frantically.

"RIKO-SAN!!!"

"Wha!!!? Hey Hanamaru, what happened - "

"ZURA!! ZURA ZURA ZUUUURAAAAA!!!!"

"Huh?!"

"Yoshiko-san....it's already 2:43 PM, she's not waking up!!!"

"What!!? Hang on, why are you calling me for - "

"I found Yohane deeply asleep outside her house - like she fell from the window or something. I brought her back inside but....She was sleeping really deeply and she could not wake up no matter what I do. And she keeps muttering 'Riri....riri....riri...', I'm getting worried about her!!"

"EHHHHH!!!?"

"I already called the others to help, but they could not do anything."

No way, did my singing make Yocchan like that!!?

"I need to go now!!!"

"THIS EXCITING!! I AM COMING TOO!!", said Mari.

We went to Yohane's house. Everyone was there trying to wake Yohane up. Specifically, Dia, Chika and You were there.

"This was because Dia was too tough on Yoshiko during practice!!"

"Excuse me, Chika, I have nothing to do with this!!!"

"Hang on guys, I am here. Where is she!?"

Yoshiko was lying down at her room. Sleeping really deeply.

"I know this....it's my fault. I made her like this, I'll take care of it."

"What do you mean?", asked You.

"Last night I could not sleep properly so I called Yocchan to see if she was awake. Eventually, I sang a song for her to help her sleep...."

"And this happened?!! Whoa....", You responded.

"What will you do, Riko-chan?", said Chika.

I made my move. I sang Yume no Tobira hoping it could have the same effect. I sat close to Yocchan hoping she hears.

She did not wake up.

"Darn it. What should I - "

Mari came up to me and whispered:

"Kiss her."

"WHAT!!! Wait, I can't - "

"Just do it on her forehead. No harm about that!!"

I hesitated...it was a crazy idea......but I tried it anyway. Since I trust Mari's instincts. Yocchan needs to wake up.

I kissed Yocchan on the forehead as I held her hand tightly. Everyone was surprised.

I whispered: "Wake up, Yocchan."

Then....Yocchan opened her eyes and we looked at each other.

It was....a very weird but sweet feeling as we did that.

"Riri.......AHHHHHH!!!!"

"Ah....Yocchan, hang on. It's not what you think - "

Yocchan was shocked with what she just saw. She quickly covered herself with a blanket and backed away from me. Her face was all red and panicking.

"How dare you Riri!!! I-I am......I am not yet ready yet to receive you yet, Riri!!!"

"Huh!!?"

"YOSHIKO-SAN!!!!"

Hanamaru then hugged Yocchan tightly. At least she was okay.

"Interesting....."

"Don't get the wrong idea, Mari-san."

"Hehe....hey, what about it? Wanna make a song about all this?"

"A song?"

"Yeah."

Before I knew it, that weird encounter made me discover something amazing.....

....including the fact that Yocchan....was really beautiful....

Wait, why am I thinking like this!!?
