Maya's POV
I walk inside the movies holding hands with Riley but with Lucas and Farkle trailing behind us. We got our tickets to see, 'Ride Along 2' but we had like 10 minutes before we walk in.

"Guys I'm hungry." I say looking at everyone, Lucas smiles and hugs me rubbing my head with his fist.

"Let's go feed my girl." He says, I blush and nod. No, we're not dating but we're going to soon. We've been talking about a relationship and he told me he'll ask me when I least expect it. I smile at the thought while Riley brought me out of my daze.

"Hey you okay peaches?" She asked, I shook my head and looked at her.

"Yeah...just daydreaming." I explain, she nods and links arms with me as we go to the concession stand.

"Hi my name is Charlotte, what would you like." A blonde asked us.

"Oh, I'd like-"

"She'd like a medium popcorn and a medium Coke with some licorice." Riley says for me, I look at her.

"I like small." I tell her.

"We're sharing, duh." She says rolling her eyes. I giggle and nod as she wraps her arm around my waist pulling me closer. I smile as she gives us our food but Lucas holds it for us. She eventually unwraps her arm from mine and I frown but cover it up by jumping on Lucas's back. He smiles while trying to hold the food and I laugh. I then get off of him and started walking only to be greeted by a blonde and brunette.

"Aww you two are a cute couple." The blonde says, I blush at her statement.

"Thanks we get that a lot." I say.

"I bet, how long have you two been dating?" She asked again.

"Oh, we're not dating...yet." Lucas says. The brunette look at the blonde and they share a confused look.

"Umm-"

"I know I know, I should ask her soon but...I want to make it perfect." He says wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"Oh...umm yeah.." The blonde says.

"Ali, why are you sugar coating? We weren't talking about you! We were talking about blondy and brunette." The brunette said. I raise my eyebrow and point to Farkle to see her shake her head, I then point to Riley and she her smile.

"Yeah. The way she ordered your food for you, the way she looks at you, the way she wrapped her arms around you." The girl explained. I looked back at Riley to see her looking at the floor.

"Thanks...."

"Emily." She says.

"Emily, but we're both straight." I say walking over to Riles and wrapping my arm around her shoulder. She didn't agree but I know I'm right.

"You know..I started that way, I use to tell her that her kisses were just practice for the real thing. Well, I lied..they weren't for practice." The blonde who was named 'Ali' said lacing her hand with Emily. She smile and they shared a kiss. I smile at the two as they release.

"It was nice meeting you two..can I maybe have you guys number?" I ask, they nod and I give them my phone. They soon hand it back to me making me smile. We thank them and go to the movie. While we were at the movie I reached for the popcorn while Riley did too and our hands touched, I looked at her and smiled.

It was the weekend and I was laying down bored. I looked at my phone, hmm I could text Emily. Yeah that sounds good.

Unknown: Hey Emily it's me Maya

Em💖👸(Team Emison👭): Oh hey..wait Maya who?

I smile at the conversation and nod, time to go to Riley's.

I walk through Riley's window to see her sitting there looking at the ground.

"Hey Riles." I say, she looks at me and smiles.

"Hey peaches." She says hugging me.

"So, what bring you here?" She asks.

"Well I've been thinking.."I start, she makes a concerned face.

"About?" She asks. I look at her, should I do it or tell her? Fuck it, I smash my lips
onto her's but instead of pushing me away...she kisses back. She had soft lips that I'd never get tired off but I then separated.

"Why'd you do that?" She asked.

"I don't know...practice." I say walking out. Damn it!

I was on the phone with Emily as she screamed at me, "WHAT DID I TELL YOU?"

"To not say it was practice." I mumble.

"AND WHAT DID YOU DO?" She screamed again.

"Said it was practice." I mumble again.

"MY GOSH!" She shouted, I jumped and dropped my phone but Lucas knocked on my window.

"One second." I tell Emily.

"YOU BETTER NOT HANG UP!" She yells, geez.

"I'm not, just stay quiet." I tell her.

"I got her." I hear Ali say in the background. I smile and place my phone down while I open the window.

"Hey Lucas." I say, he smiles and hugs me..is it weird I don't feel the same spark?

"Hey Maya...can I ask you something?" He asks me, I nod and let him in. I then walk over to the bed by my phone and he sits next to me.

"Okay so...you know I like you a lot. So I was wondering...will you be my girlfriend?" He asks, I smiled knowing this was my moment but..I'm not happy.

"Oh Lucas!" I smile..I then pause, "No...I-I don't feel the same spark. I'm sorry but this isn't right." I say standing up.

"Wait what? Is it because of those weird lesbians? Their not important." He says.

"Excuse me?" I hear through the phone, I quickly sit on it to block out the sound.

"What was-"

"Ignore that." I say sliding off, he shakes his head and looks at me.

"I think I...like Riley." I whisper, he looks at me and raises his eyebrows.

"RILEY? REALLY OUT OF EVERYONE? WOW MAYA!" He screams at me walking out. I sigh and grab my phone.

"Did you hear all that?" I ask.

"I did sweetie, we'll be right over." She says hanging up. I sigh and lay down.

"Maya?" I heard.
