[Tokyo City. It is observed from a rooftop by Saya.]

Saya: Busy night my Darling, and even he can't be everywhere at once.

[She sits down, pawing a valuable antique.]

Saya: What he doesn't know won't hurt him.

Ben 10: No...

[Ben 10 takes this moment to zoom in front of her.]

Ben 10: ...but it might end up hurting you in the long run. Hand it over, Saya.

[Saya sits up as Ben 10 extends his arm.]

Saya: Sorry Kid, no can do. I'm protecting it.

[Saya backflips off where she was standing, landing on a lower roof partition. Ben watches with amusement, then becomes XLR8 zooms to obstruct her path in the blink of an eye.]

Ben 10: I can never figure you out. One minute you're a hero, the next you're a criminal.

Saya: I'm a complicated woman.

Ben 10: You know, I don't feel like chasing you anymore.

Saya: And I don't have time to explain myself.

Ben 10: (becomes Humungosaur) We don't have to fight.

Saya: Oh, but I want to.

[They fight, spilling out onto Tokyo City's streets in the process. Saya is little trouble for Ben 10 and soon she's on the floor. The antique rolls off her person.]

Saya: This is why I don't play nice with you hero types. (in mind) except for my Darling Dax.

[An unfamiliar looking guy with cybernetic legs steps into the fray and picks up the antique.]

Mercury: This oughta fetch a tidy sum.

Ben 10: Alright, what's your deal?

[As he asks this question, Ben's eyes shine the same bright yellow as earlier and he grabs his head in pain. Mercury watches with amusement.]

Mercury: Heh...you don't look so good, mate.

Saya: I'll take that...

[Sneaking up behind Mercury, Catwoman swipes the antique from him and runs off.]

Mercury: Hey!

[Before he can chase her, a portal opens up before Saya. Taken by surprise, she is unable to slow her momentum and ends up running straight into it.]

Saya: Ahh! What the-- HELP!!

[As Saya disappears, the portal closes behind her. Ben 10 has now recovered, then becomes Rath although his voice sounds distorted.]

Ben 10: Let me tell you something! Hand over the gem!

Mercury: Back off, freak! She took it!

Ben 10: Let me tell you something! You helped her escape!

Mercury: I don't like your attitude. You need to be taught some manners!

[Mercury takes a fighting stance and tries to kick Ben 10 with his cybernetic legs. Ben 10 gabs it before it even touches him. Then he throws him down.]

Mercury: Eh, you give Hazel a run for his money!

Ben 10: Let me tell you something! My turn!

[They fight. With a newfound rage inside him, Ben beats Mercury unconscious. He picks Mercury up by his throat, his eyes yellow with fury, but before he can do anything another figure drops from the sky and lands next to them.]

Murasaki: Who is that man? What're you doing in Tokyo?

Ben 10: Let me tell you something! This freak tried--

[Ben's voice is still distorted and his eyes still yellow with rage, but he sounds like he's trying to fight whatever has possessed him. The fight soon dissipates as his mood angers.]

Ben 10: --tried to kill me, and now I'm going to return the favour!

Murasaki: No, you're not. It's clear something's wrong with you. The Ben I know doesn't kill.

Ben 10: Heh...let me tell you something! He does now.

[Ben throws Mercury aside and roars in rage before attacking Yatsu. They fight, and Ben 10's strength as Rath manages to overcome Yatsu's fighting skill, with Ben knocking him to the ground. Not beaten yet, Yatsu struggles to her feet as Ben advances towards him.]

Ben 10: Let me tell you something, sweeitie! I thought you were a master of hand-to-hand combat.

[Yatsu whips around, stunning Ben with a tazer. Ben is out before he even hits the concrete.]

Murasaki: I am.
