Hello wonderful people! It's me, Xhira back with another book! As always I'll use this first chapter to tell you guys what this book is about!

Before we begin I'm sure many of you are wondering what happened to the other DxD book I have. I want to simply make a new story with this IP and I got tired of the other book, so I decided to discontinue it. It's the first and only time I'm going to do this. I'm sorry for whoever liked the other book, I simply did not like the way it was developing.

This book will not follow the cannon of the anime series. I'll try to write many of the events that do occur but don't expect everything to happen in the same way. Or to happen at all to begin with.

There will be romance and a harem too. I suppose this come to a surprise to nobody since well, this is DxD after all.

Issei. Phew, do we have to talk here. First of, I'm not going to kill him or make him the antagonist of the story or any bs like that. Issei is the protagonist after all, so he will be relevant to this book. You are not replacing him, you are a new character, that's all. Issei will behave in the same way he does in the anime, I'm not changing that. As for Y/N...

I said I wasn't going to follow cannon because we are following Y/N's story here, so obviously his path has much more importance than whatever Issei, Rias and .Co are doing. Due to that, I aim to expand more on the Underworld, the way devils live, the peerage games and devil society as a whole. Does that mean Y/N won't interact with the protagonists? Of course not, but that will not be as relevant.

Y/N aims to make a peerage of his own, so new characters will be introduced to this book. Lots of OC's, of course. You can request a character if you will, but don't expect me to introduce it if you suddenly go and make him extremely OP. Speaking of which...

Y/N will be strong, but this is not an OP book. He can get defeated, he has flaws and the character will make mistakes. Just like an ordinary person would. He will slowly increase in power, but will never become extremely powerful to the point nothing can face him. In my opinion, when that happens, fights are boring to both read and write.

As I mentioned before there will be a harem. "How large will the harem be?" "Is [INSERT CHARACTER NAME] in the harem?" "Will there be lemons?" Yes, most likely yes and yes. However, do not expect everyone to immediately fall in love with you at first sight. I want romance to go slow and focus more on the action.
