Bella woke up the next morning to find the right side of the bed empty. Instead of Edward, a piece of paper was folded on the other pillow. Bella picked up the paper and unfolded it, scanning the paper with her sleepy brown eyes.

Bella,

I have gone out to hunt with Jasper and Emmett before the baseball game. Hopefully I will be back before you wake.

"You're late," Bella mumbled before she continued reading the note.

I will see you soon.

I love you.

Bella smiled at herself and closed the note. She gently rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and looked towards the doorway, where a figure was standing. Bella pushed herself up and squinted.

"I didn't know someone could honestly sleep that long," Alice acknowledged.

"What time is it?"

"Time for you to wake up."

Bella rolled her eyes and pushed the gray bed covers off of her slender body. She quickly maneuvered her hands around her tank top, adjusting the damage that she had caused to it while she was sleeping. She brushed her fingers through her hair, trying to untangle her hair. She rubbed her face one more and walked towards Alice, who was leaning against the door frame.

A loud grumble echoed through the room and Alice laughed. "Breakfast is on the table." Bella nodded and walked down the stairs, gripping on the the hand rail. She ambled into the kitchen, to see her daughter scooping oatmeal into her mouth.

Bella wrapped her arms around her daughter and placed a kiss on Renesmee's head. "Good morning, beautiful," Bella stated.

"Good morning Momma!" Renesmee said with her mouth full of oatmeal. Bella chuckled and Esme handed Bella a steaming bowl of oatmeal.

"Thank you Esme," Bella said as she lifted the spoon to her mouth. Esme nodded and began to clean up the kitchen. Alice and Rosalie entered the kitchen and mumbled quietly, with excited looks on their faces.

Bella continued eating, but she was quite suspicious. Rosalie and Alice kept mumbling and laughing. "What are you guys mumbling about? Are you planning my murder?" Alice laughed, while Rosalie stayed silent.

"Something like that," Alice replied. Bella finished up her oatmeal and placed her bowl in the sink, along with Renesmee's bowl. Renesmee climbed off of her stool and placed her hand on Alice's cheek.

"Okay, you are obviously keeping something from me." Bella grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest.

Alice groaned playfully and Rosalie rolled her eyes. "We still have a few hours before we can play, and since the boys are out hunting, we were planning on going to the mall."

Bella was about to protest, but Alice raised her hand up, her lips pressed together in a thin line. "I talked to Carlisle yesterday about you wanting to go to school, and he signed us all up. We start tomorrow."

Bella managed to keep a straight face, but inside, she was excited that Carlisle had found a way for her to go back to school. "Anyways," Alice continued "we need new school clothes. Renesmee is going to tag along while Rosalie, you and I get some new clothes for us and the boys."

Bella sighed and nodded, agreeing to come along. Alice squealed and wrapped her cold arms around Bella, bringing her into a hug. Alice's grip got tighter and Bella was soon gasping for breath. "Alice," she managed to say. Alice immediately let go of Bella, a worried and guilty expression on her face. Bella inhaled then smiled at Alice, letting her know she was fine. Alice's guilt turned into happiness. She grabbed Bella's and started leading her upstairs. Bella groaned as Alice pushed open the bathroom door.

On the bathroom counter, Alice had already laid out Bella's outfit. Bella looked through the articles of clothing, and she smiled at Alice, approving the outfit. Alice left the room and Bella stripped down. She pulled on the undergarments and then he light coloured jeans, the blood red tank top, and the black cardigan. Bella adjusted the cardigan just as Alice walked back into the room.

"Wow! You look hot!" Alice remarked, winking at Bella. Bella rolled her eyes. Alice ran through Bella's hair with a brush, while she quietly hummed to herself. Bella chuckled and pulled on her black sneakers. "You ready?" Alice asked.

"Ready as I will ever be." Alice chuckled and the two walked back down the stairs where Rosalie and Renesmee were waiting. They both got up and then they all walked to the garage.

"What car are we taking?" Alice pondered, tapping her chin with pointer finger.

"Emmett's Jeep would be better than your porsche. "Rosalie added, brushing a blonde curl out of her face. Bella rolled her eyes, for she had never had the problem of choosing which car she would drive. It was always her truck.

Bella helped Renesmee get into the backseat, and pulled herself in the back seat as well. She buckled herself up as Alice started the car. Alice backed out of the Cullen's garage and drove down the driveway, turning onto the highway.

After twenty endless minutes of Bella pleading Alice to slow down and holding on for dear life, they made it to the mall. Renesmee raised her eyebrows at Bella and giggled. "Are you alright mom?"

Bella nodded and tried to steady her breathing. She quickly got out of the Jeep and wobbled, but with Alice's help, she balanced out. Bella mumbled a thank you as Rosalie and Renesmee got out of the car. Renesmee rushed to stand over beside Bella as they entered the mall. Renesmee grabbed a hold of Bella's hand and laced her mother's fingers between her own fingers. Bella grinned down at Renesmee.

Alice had obviously dressed her, or helped choose out Renesmee's outfit. She was wearing a white t-shirt with a jean jacket that reached her elbow. She had a purple infinity scarf wrapped around her neck and she was wearing black leggings, along with black boots. Her hair naturally cascaded down her shoulders. Bella swallowed, a lump growing in her throat. She still couldn't comprehend that her little girl - the one who didn't talk very much, the one who loved to play with her dolls and play dress up- was growing up. Bella pushed away the thought and huffed in a breath as she and Renesmee followed Alice and Rosalie into the first store.

Bella stumbled on the floor as Alice pushed her into the change room, for the twentieth time that day. She was growing tired of shopping. She wanted to head back to the house and cuddle up beside Edward. After she tried on the fifth pair of jeans, Alice looked at her watch and squeaked. "We have to go!" Alice and Rosalie paid for Bella's clothes and their own clothes and they urged Bella and Renesmee to walk faster. They swiftly arrived at the Jeep and Rosalie and Alice basically shoved Renesmee and Bella into the backseat. Before Bella could even get her seatbelt on, they were speeding down the highway.

Bella watched the trees past by quickly when she felt a tap on her elbow. Bella turned her head to see her daughter holding out a plastic bag for her. "It's for you, Mom," Renesmee confessed, her grin expanding across her face. Bella raised her eyebrows and took the plastic bag from her daughter's hand. Bella dug her hand into the bag and pulled out a long and velvet black box. Bella flipped open the lid and gasped in shock. It was a sterling silver bracelet with an infinity sign in the middle. On the infinity sign it had the word forever engraved into it. Renesmee lifted her wrist and showed off her bracelet, which was the exact same on as Bella.

"It says forever because we will be together forever," Renesmee pointed out. Speechless and overwhelmed with love, Bella wrapped her daughter in a huge hug. Renesmee buried her head into her mother's shoulder as Bella held in the urge to not burst into tears.

"Forever," Bella commented softly in Renesmee's ear.

A thought struck Bella right in that moment. No matter how old Renesmee was, she would always be Bella's little girl.

Alice pulled into the Cullen driveway and Bella looked out the window to see a familiar smile. Alice parked the Jeep and Bella helped Renesmee out of the jeep. Renesmee ran up to her father and she gave him a hug and kiss on the cheek. She then walked into the house and was greeted by Esme and Jacob.

Bella walked into Edward's arms and he wrapped his broad arms around her waist, placing a kiss on her forehead. "How was shopping?" Edward asked, a playful smirk planted on his face.

"I managed to survive," Bella retorted. "But barely. She almost made me try on dresses."

"Oh, the horror," Edward confirmed. Bella and Edward chuckled. Edward lifted up Bella's chin with his finger, and exhaled, his cool breath sending shivers down Bella's back. Bella's lips parted and her heartbeat sped up. Edward leaned forward, holding Bella's fragile waist. Their lips where about to touch when a certain someone yelled at them from inside the house.

"Edward! bella! Save the making out for later! We have to get ready!" Alice yelled. Edward rolled his golden eyes and placed a kiss on Bella's cheek. Bella walked up the front stairs, Edward not far behind her.

"So what exactly should I expect in a vampire baseball game?" Bella questioned as she started to change in Rosalie's closet. Edward chuckled from the other side of the door.

"It's just like regular baseball, love." Bella pulled on her Cullen jersey and black leggings. She snatched the Cullen hat and opened the door, to see Edward with a smug face.

"We should play baseball more often, if I get to see you like this." Edward winked, making the blood rise in Bella's cheeks. Edward kissed both of her cheeks, and gently took the baseball hat from her grip. He placed it on her head, and brushed a piece of brown hair away from her face. "Perfect," He stated. Bella smiled and Edward took her hand, and they both walked down the stairs to notice only Jacob and Renesmee were there. Renesmee had her own jersey and Jacob had a Cullen hat turned backwards on his head.

"Where's everyone else?" Bella contemplated.

"They're setting up the field. I thought you would prefer it if we drove there instead." Bella nodded and Jacob and Renesmee stood up.

"You ready to watch some vampire baseball?" Jacob said, a goofy smile on his face.

Bella laughed. "Are you playing?" She asked Jacob. Jacob adjusted his hat and smirked.

"Damn right. Time to show these vampires that they are not the only ones good at baseball. It's an American pastime; anyone who can catch a ball is basically considered a player." Bella chuckled and followed jacob and Renesmee out of the door.

Bella buckled herself up in the passenger's side of the jeep, and she looked behind her to make sure that Renesmee was buckled up. She and Jacob were chatting away, as if it were only them. Edward sighed and he pulled the gear into drive. Bella held out her hand and Edward took his hand in hers, their fingers intertwining.

Edward kept his eyes on the terrain, but every so often, his eyes would meet Bella's brown eyes. He would stare into them and show off a crooked smile,. Every so often, they would go over a rock in the forest, making Renesmee squeal in the back and Jacob laugh.

"Where exactly is this baseball field?" Bella questioned, with her eyebrows raised and a smile on her face.

Edward stroked Bella's hand with his thumb as they went over another rock. "Well, this baseball field is private. It's only a few more miles," Edward promised. Bella nodded and Edward lifted up her hand to kiss it. Bella giggled. Edward's eyes fell to her bracelet, and he beamed, his face lighting up.

"It's beautiful," Bella stated, when Edward didn't say anything.

"It fits the situation perfectly." Edward admitted.

He turned his eyes back to the road and all was quiet minus the snickering from the backseat.

Edward drove over a few more bumps, and then the rocks turned into mud. The Jeep dug it's wheels into the mud, pushing the vehicle forward. Edward than swiftly made a turn, the tires now rolling through grass. Bella looked out through the windshield and saw a huge field, with fresh green grass. Boulders were spread throughout the field. Bella changed her glance to the other Cullens. Some were practicing their swinging techniques, and Esme was sitting on a bench that just happened to be in the field. Bella assumed they had brought it here.

Edward shifted the gear into the park and got out of the jeep, closing the door behind him. Bella was about to open her door, when the door swung open, a smug looking Edward behind it. Edward took Bella's hand and lifted her down, while Jacob helped Renesmee down. Edward wrapped her arm around Bella's waist, his hand resting on her curves. Jacob and Renesmee followed behind them.

The Cullens quickly regrouped. Jacob had a smirk on his face, and he was sending playful glares at Emmett. Emmett rolled his eyes and gave him the finger jokingly. Alice stood in the center of the group of vampires.

"It's time," She announced.

Everyone dispersed from the group, going to the outfield and the batting line up. Edward, Emmett and Jacob stood outfield around the bases while Carlisle, Jasper and Rosalie lined up, each holding a wooden bat. Alice stood in the center of the field, holding the ball in her hands. Esme stood behind Carlisle-who was the first batter- holding a brown glove in her hand. Renesmee was crouched down beside her grandmother, getting ready to call someone out. She definitely had the look of determination. Bella chuckled as she wrapped Edward's coat around her bony shoulders.

Alice glanced at Carlisle and she nodded.

BOOM-CRACK-BOOM

Bella looked at the sky, and watched a fork of lightning strike. Alice bit her lip and lifted her leg, preparing to throw the ball. The ball slipped out of Alice's fingers in a flash and hit Carlisle's bat with a loud CRACK. The ball flew into the air, and Emmett chased after it, into the forest. Carlisle rushed to each base before Emmett caught the ball. He stopped at third base, just as Emmett came out holding the ball in his hands. He chucked it towards Alice, and she caught it.

Jasper walked up to the batting post, and he patted the bat on the ground with a devious look on his face. He lifted the bat up towards his shoulder and nodded at Alice.

BOOM-CRACK-BOOM

The ball flew towards Jasper's face, but he hit it, the bat making a satisfying crunch noise. Carlisle and Jasper started to run. Edward chased after the ball with Jacob on his tail.

"C'mon Edward," Bella mumbled. She had a feeling he wasn't going to bring it back in time. Esme looked over at Bella and chuckled. Bella had made her hands into smalls fists inside of Edward's jacket, and she was mumbling to herself.

"Don't worry dear. Edward's the fastest." Esme reassured as she gave pointers to Renesmee.

Bella laughed at herself and continued to watch the game. Edward jumped into the air, as graceful as a snowflake falling from the sky. He reached his arm, but then Jacob jumped, knocking the ball out of Edward's reach, and making them hit heads. They both landed on the ground with a CRASH. Jacob burst out laughing as Emmett rushed to get the ball to Alice. Edward looked at Jacob, debating to snap at Jacob, but instead he laughed as well. Alice caught the ball with a flick of her wrist, just as Jasper and Carlisle reached home base. Alice smirked at Rosalie.

"Are you ready Rose?"

"Bring it," Rosalie playfully sneered at Alice.

BOOM-CRACK-BOOM

The ball soared over to where Rosalie was waiting. She hit the ball and dropped the bat, racing towards the bases. Jacob jumped up and caught the ball mid-air, and threw it at Alice. Alice snatched it from the air just as Rosalie was about to reach first base. Esme whispered in Renesmee's ear and Renesmee stood up, waving her arms in the air. "OUT!" she shouted, with a grin on her face. Rosalie sent a mean glare to Jacob and jogged back to the batter's area. Renesmee and Esme high-fived each other and laughed.

Everyone switched positions and began playing again. Edward tapped his bat against the ground and sent a loving glance towards Bella.

'I love you,' he mouthed.

'Not as much as I love you," Bella mouthed back. Edward chuckled and turned back towards the game.

BOOM-CRACK-BOOM

Alice threw the ball up in the air and caught it. She lifted her leg above her head and chucked the ball towards Edward, expecting him to not to be ready. But he was. He lifted the bat and the bat crashed against the ball, sending it flying. He dropped the bat and ran towards first base. Rosalie ran as fast as she could towards the ball, hoping to get Edward out. But Edward was quicker. By the time Rosalie had caught the ball and threw it back to Alice, he has already slid into home base. Edward smirked at Rosalie and she flipped him off. Edward chuckled and walked over to Bella, who was looking at him with adoring eyes.

He sat down beside Bella and wrapped his arms around her. Edward kissed her forehead and Bella giggled.

"You're quite good for someone who doesn't look like they would play baseball," Bella stated.

"Oh really now?" Edward mumbled into her neck as he placed a a soft kiss on her jawline.

Edward gave her a few more neck kisses when he stopped abruptly. Fear clouded his eyes. He looked into the field, to see Alice staring at the ground, frozen as a statue. She was having a vision. And by the looks of Edward's face, Bella could tell it wasn't good.

"Edward?" Bella whispered. Edward ignored her and stood up, walking towards Alice.

"Alice?" Edward asked, pressing his lips into a tight line. His eyebrows creased in worry as Alice looked up at Edward. She then looked at Bella, than at her family, who was now surrounding Alice. Bella stood up and grabbed Renesmee's hand. Renesmee squeezed her mother's hand as they walked up to Edward and the others.

"Daddy?" Renesmee asked quietly.

Edward placed a kiss on Renesmee's forehead, and that's when Alice decided to talk.

"They're coming."
