"AAAARGG!!" Morrowseer roared, immediately taking his talon off of the SkyWing. Peril jumped backwards. Things had just escalated very quickly, she hoped she wouldn't be scolded for moving. She stood on all four feet, cowering beneath the thundering NightWing, trying to figure what to do.

"NOO!" Webs screamed from his place across the cave. He jumped up, seemingly healed from his injury, and bolted to the NightWing. Dune followed him, glaring at Peril.

"What did you do!" He hissed to the SkyWing dragoness. "You've messed everything up, Peril! Just go away! get Hvitur!" Peril stepped back, a sad lump growing in her throat. I can't cry. I won't. Closing her eyes and shaking her head,  She stood still for a few seconds, utterly confused. But the furious look in Dune's eyes told her she need to leave that INSTANT.

So Peril bolted though the cave systems, knowing the pathways by heart, and eventually reaching the large library cave. The walls were decked with scrolls, and scroll-holders lined the walls. Five dragons, Clay, Tsunami, StarFlight, Sunny and Hvitur were gathered together amongst the scrolls. Hvitur had been told to wait with the others while Peril met Morrowseer, but personally the little dragoness believed it was because the IceWing didn't want to be anywhere near her. He never did...... Hvitur narrowed his eyes at Peril as Morrowseer's roars had just echoed though the walls.

"What happened! WHAT DID YOU DO!" Hvitur shouted at her face. Not even taking the time to hear anything that Peril had to say, the IceWing shot down and away, leaving Peril alone with her alone with the other Dragonets.   The five of them waited in silence for a long time. Clay, after somewhere around 4 minutes, got up and ran towards the SkyWing.

"Peril!" He exclaimed, running a talons across her wing. As their scales touched, a light warmth wave ruffled though both their bodies. Clay... the only one who can actually touch me... She leaned close into him. He was the only dragon who could actually take any good care of her.

"Peril, what happened?!" Sunny cried, stepping carefully around Peril. She bowed her head, turning it away from the little SandWing dragoness. Honestly, she had no intent in talking to anyone right now, She'd just let everyone down. Why did they want to have anything to do with her? All she really wanted to do at that moment was lie down on the ledge over there and not have to do anything for a little while. She turned away from Clay, stepping away from the hazel MudWing.

"I'm going to sit down" she sighed in a huff. She turned towards her desired ledge, throwing her wings to her sides. But just as she attempted to open them, expanding the things and letting the air drift beneath them, she felt the same thing as always. The wings stopped short, opening less than in inch. Caught short as always in three dark yellow bindings. These which she had always worn. Three metal circles clamping her wings together, prohibiting their use.

She'd been adorned with them since she was only a year old. All the other dragonets had just been learning to fly, soaring around the cave, being free. Meanwhile, Hvitur tightened on bindings to stop her from ever learning. He saw that as a safety hazard, having a orange fireball bouncing around the walls burning everything in sight. So they're she was, the poor SkyWing who had never flown once in her life.

She sighed and lowered head. She couldn't believe that even after all this time her first instinct was to fly up to somewhere.  StarFlight's theory had always been that it was because she was a SkyWing, the tribe named for they're freedom so high. That it was in her instincts to use her wings. But, she never really cared. She'd always be that way, just tormented by the wings she could never use.

Peril sighed and walked up to the cave-Cliff, embedding her talons into the little nooks in the rock and scaled upwards. She couldn't fly, but was rather good at climbing. Using the lil' hooks on her wings and sharp claws, she hopped up the cliff as swiftly as a mountain goat.

She laid down, tired, on the stone and closed her eyes. She was ready for this day to be over.
