The next morning, Hawkstar stood atop the Great Tree, "Let all cats old enough to climb gather beneath me!"

I mentally took notes on how he summoned the whole clan as Sunmist, Littlebird's sister, washed me and Lilykit. Tropickit bounced everywhere, her fur fluffed up and her tail sticking straighter than ever. Stormkit was licking his paws beside her.

As every cat settled down around us, Hawkstar declared, "Today, three young kits will join Eaglepaw, Treepaw, and Nightpaw in the apprentices' den! Amberstorm, you are brave yet kind and shall be more than a suitable mentor for Lilypaw. Tigerpearl, you are fierce but you have always put your clan first, I hope you will teach Stormpaw everything you know! And Sunmist, you are the most wisely patient and brave warrior this clan shall ever have! With you looking after her, Mistypaw shall be as patient and brave as you!" 

He looked to us, "Lilykit, Stormkit and Mistykit! By the power of Starclan, from now on, you shall be known as Lilypaw, Stormpaw and Mistypaw!"

He touched his nose to ours one by one and the clan bellowed, "Lilypaw, Stormpaw, Mistypaw!"

I puffed out my chest, ruining my just-groomed fur as Huckleberry continued for Hawkstar, "Tropickit. Will you be my apprentice? Will you serve Starclan forever and stay at peace with each clan's medicine cats even in war?"

Tropickit looked up at Huckleberry with awe, "I will."

She exclaimed, "Then you shall travel with me to the Moonpool tonight!"

The thoughts in my mind drowned out the clans' cheers; Peaceclan would have a proper medicine cat, at last.
