Just for those who are curious how this is going. I finished making all the pieces, and I should be able to assemble a finished stuffed Basque tomorrow.
If anyone is wondering what the thing on the far right is, that was the brain child of two hours' worth of work and an idea. Basically, it may not look like it, but it sticks under the bottom of the plush, and the bottom half opens with Velcro. Any guesses :^)
