With the close of my tenth (yes tenth) CS 173 exam, I can finally begin playing the copy of Ultra Moon I picked up yesterday. Specifically, I'm doing a blind playthrough (so no spoilers), but it's a Nuzlocke. For those of you who don't know what that is, look it up.  (^:

(Just be warned that I may talk about things going on in the region, so if you're playing yourself, it's best not to look if you see a bunch of asteriks at the top of the page. That'll be my symbol that it's got something related to the story in it.)

So I guess this marks the beginning of Risk's journey in Alola?

So far, I've been saved by a Rowlet (named Velos, meaning "arrow"). Route 1 was rather lighthearted and free- I did manage to catch something I'd never seen before! A small Bug-type known as Grubbin that was named Tempest.
Hau is this other boy that  was starting his journey  at the same time- but he really couldn't stop me or my team of two.
There's these weird guys looking for Auras around the region, allegedly. I wonder why... It also got really dark for a few minutes after they left. Perhaps they're related.

On the way back to the Professor, I picked up a Slowpoke, efficiently named "Fastpoke."

Now, I've been tasked with walking around this "Trainer's School" and participating in a few battles. Found a Quick Claw there and gave it to Fastpoke so he could live up to his name.
