Greencough was spreading through the camp very quickly, and only the strongest warriors pulled through.
A few kits had died already, and rainpaw and Blacktail were having cats come into the den constantly.
Rainpaw was distracted, though. Today she and her sister were becoming warriors! But Rainpaw couldn't be fully exited, because she knew Sunstream should have been here, too.
"May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the highledge for a clan meeting" Silverstar called.
Rainpaw rushed past the bramble curtain, and sat timidly next to her sister, in front of the highledge.
Silverstar looked up to the sky; a fiery pool now, and said "StarClan, I present to you two apprentices that have worked very hard to learn your noble code, and will fight with their lives to protect this clan." She paused, and looked down at the sisters. "Rainpaw, from now on you will be called Rainfeather."
Silverstar jumped down from the highledge, and rested her muzzle on Rainfeather's head. "And Moonpaw, from now on, you will be known as Moonfall." She rested her head upon Moonfall's.
"This clan meeting has come to an end" Silverstar said, and just then Robinheart burst through the crowd, and said "I'm so proud of you both." and wraped herself around them. "We'll have to go see your father, soon. He'll be so happy!"
"I understand your excitement, Robinheart. But tonight they have their vigil." Silverstar explained.
"Oh, yes" Robinheart agreed "sorry."
Their vigil! Moonfall had forgotten. Hopefully she would be able to contact Sunstream. Moonfall had a secret - she could speak with certain dead cats while she was awake, which was a very rare power, given only to the medicine cats from very long ago. The power hadn't been given to a cat in 300 years. The only other cat that knew about Moonfall's secret was Rainfeather. The two sisters had drawn even closer after Sunstream's death. But now it was time to eat and rest before their night guarding the camp.
"Good night!" Robinheart called from the warriors den
Moonfall nodded her head in reply.
"Now remember," Silverstar said "no speaking until sunrise."
Moonfall nodded her head as a yes, and Silverstar padded back to her cave atop the highledge.
Moonfall looked up at silverpelt, and began to speak with Sunstream, while Rainfeather watched, fascinated.

~COMMENTARY~
this is the day after the last chapter.
HOW MANY CATS DIED IN 24 HOURS???
also, yes, i know Rainfeather is a medicine cat and not supposed to have a warrior ceremony. But shh, i wrote this when i was 9 and decided i could make my own rules.
On another note, SURPRISE!! halfway through the chapter, it switches from Rainfeather's perspective to Moonfall's for no reason at all.
And Moonfall also has secret superpowers.
