Shadow got dressed in an elegant strapless emerald dress, with a little line of sparkles around a bit of her chest. Black Conakry put her hair in some fancy side ponytail.

"Can I be done now?" Shadow annoyingly asked Black Conakry.

"Almost," She answered, as she finished putting eyeliner on Shadow. "Done! You look beautiful, Shadow." Shadow didn't bother to look in the mirror, so she quickly put on her black and silver mask. And joined the others in the mission room.

"Wow, you look stunning!" Kid Flash exclaimed, as she walked in the room.

Shadow sighed, as she slipped her long black gloves on. "Don't you have a girlfriend?!" She snapped.

"Is it a crime to compliment a pretty girl?!" He snapped back, raising his hands.

"Enough! Both of you!" Black Conakry said stunly, as she walked in. "I came to remind you all that these are RENTALS, meaning if you so much as get one little rip on your clothes. You will be paying for it!"

"Got it," Robin said as he helped Megan tie her mask. "Now who are we protecting again?"

"I think you all know him," Batman said. "Lex Luther." There was gasps threw out the room.

"You can't be serious!" Super boy raised his voice, which is weird since he's normally the quite one.

"Can't he just have one of his fancy robots protect him?" Shadow raised her eyebrow. She hated rich people, well, except for Bruce. And maybe Dick. Maybe.

Batman sighed. "We don't know his intentions, but Luther asked for our help. So we are giving it to him."

"Then why can't the Justice League just protect him?!" Shadow crossed her arms.

"Because we have other duties to attend to, Shadow. Besides, the Team hasn't had a mission in a while."

"The jet is ready." Meg'han confirmed, and everyone slowly left for the ship.

Shadow began to leave when. "Ahem?" She spun around to Robin standing behind her, with an eyebrow raised. "Aren't you forgetting something?"

"Um, no?" Shadow uttered, observing Robin's look. wearing a simple black tuxedo with a small black mask.

"Left up your dress."

"What?!? No!"

"Let me see your shoes, sorry. That came out wrong." He apologized, looking very embarrassed.

"Why?"

"Just do it!"

Shadow sighed and showed her black combat boots to Robin.

"And why may I ask, are you wearing those?"

"Cause I've never worn heels before, and I sure as heck aren't fighting in them!" Shadow said, crossing her arms.

"Here, sit down." Robin showed her to a seat neat the exit. He then took off her shoes and slowly put the heels on.

'Great, now I'm Cinderella!' Shadow thought sarcastically. "Why are you being so nice? Your never nice?" She asked as she stood.

"Cause believe it or not, I'm a nice guy."

"I find that hard to believe." Shadow walked a few steps, but tripped and fell.

She looked up and saw that Robin had caught her in his arms. "Still believe that?" He said with a smirk. "Let me help you out, this one time."

"Fine, but I still hate you." Shadow grumbled as Robin helped her walk to the ship.

Shadow mindlessly listened as Robin explained the plan. "Does everyone understand they're part?" Yeses came from everyone, well, Except someone.

"How bout you, Shadow?" Asked Robin, snapping his figures in front of her face. Shadow grabbed them and bent them hard.

"Don't do that!" She ordered stunly.

"Did you hear what I said?"

"No..."

Robin gave her a look as he pulled his hand away; Shadow wasn't sure if it was pitty, or joy; He loved to belittle and torture her.

"Well, Artimis and Wally will take the North side of the building, and Conner and Mag'han take the south. Leaving Aqualad, you and myself to guard the everywhere else."

"We're here!" Mag'han said with glee, and she landed the jet.

"Coming?" Robin offered Shadow his hand, she was still pretty bad at the heels thing.

"Fine." She obliged as they felt.
