Radon's funeral was held the next day. Rather than a burial, they placed her body in a raft and sent her out into the ocean. She had always wanted it that way. After it was done, Godzilla, Mothra, and Anguirus all left, but Rodan stood there and looked out at the ocean. He was standing there for hours. Even the next day, the others saw Rodan standing in the same spot. Finally, Godzilla walked over to him.
"Rodan, are you alright? You've standing there since yesterday." He said. Rodan didn't answer. Godzilla could tell he was still processing Radon's death. "I know you miss her. We all do. But I understand you miss her more than all of us. Take all the time you need, but... you know. Sleeping and eating is pretty important too." Still Rodan didn't answer. Godzilla sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder. At the contact, Rodan jerked upwards and snorted sharply as his eyes shot open.
"Huh? W-what?" He said frantically. "Oh. Hey Godzilla." He seemed like he was in a much better state than he was the previous day. This surprised Godzilla.
"...Were you asleep?" He asked.
"Yeah, I guess." Rodan yawned. "I kinda got caught up with my own thoughts, I guess."
"And you're feeling alright?" Godzilla asked. Rodan nodded.
"I think so. I mean, I'm still not over Radon's death, but I'll be fine." He said. "For now, I'm just gonna stand here and... think about some stuff."
Godzilla nodded. "Take all the time you need. I know how you felt about her." He said.
"Thanks, man." Rodan said. "I'm lucky to have awesome friends like you guys."
Godzilla smiled and nodded. "Radon may be dead, but I don't think she's gone."
"Are you getting religious on me?" Rodan asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Maybe. I don't know much about death or religion or whatever," Godzilla continued, "but I have a feeling that Radon is still out there. I can just feel it."
"You know, I think I feel it too." Rodan agreed.

Megaguirus shook with anger as she held her fathers wings. Her eyes were clenched shut but then suddenly opened. She had a new target. She and the rest of the colony would have to leave Monster Island for now, but she knew that she would come back. And when she did, she would kill Mothra, and all the others.
"I'll avenge you, daddy." She said, a single tear falling from her eye and onto the wing. She dropped the wings and spun around to face the wall. With a shout of anger, she jabbed her knife into the wall over and over again. From the doorway, she was being watched by her fathers advisors, two praying mantis-like creatures known as the Kamakuras.
"I don't believe she's ready to become queen, brother." One of them said.
"No, she's not." The other said. "And I doubt she will ever be."

Radon's eyes opened as she heard the sound of a muffled explosion. She saw in front of her a disturbing nightmare landscape. Skies darker than she could imagine. Structures that made no logical sense. Horrific creatures roaming across the barren soil. She got up and took in the sights, sounds, and smells of this strange new place.
"What the hell..." She muttered. She realized that Hell might not have been far off, but her thoughts were interrupted by someone bumping into her. The turned to look at him was he ran away from her. He was clad in dark blue with darker blue hair. He looked back at her, and she could see a burn scar on one side of his face. He said one word to her before he continued on his way.
"Run!" He shouted. And then he disappeared from view.
"Wait... w-wait, run from what?" Radon asked. She got her answer when she felt a large presence behind her. She slowly turned around to see a terrifying figure wearing bright red armour and a dark red cloak. He looked down at her, and she could see his eyes were black, except for his pupils, which were white. He raised an eyebrow before he grinned, showing his sharp teeth.
"Hello, newcomer." The figure hissed. "Welcome to Zenith." He lurched down and grabbed her by the throat, lifting her up to his eye level. His hands were hot, and he burned Radon's skin as he choked her. She couldn't scream as his hand closed around her neck.
"You are no longer in your world, little one." The figure said. "Now, you belong to me."

The End...
