I felt fear stir in my stomach. My muscles coiled beneath my skin ready to fight if I had to. Staring at Ash, my heart thundered. "Princess Valerie. Do not fear me" he whispers. He goes to hug me, but I side step. "Do pardon my behavior Prince Ash. But I do not trust you" I state warily. He smiles. "You should. I won't hurt you" He says in a snide calm voice. "You can't lie to anyone Ash. So I will take that as a promise that you wont hurt me" I state. He nods. "No. I wont" he says.
