Sitting alone at the bar with another drink, Swara contempleted her friend's advice while she watched Sanskar work. He completely ignored her as he moved around the pub with an easy grace, taking orders & chatting with the customers, joking with the men & flirting with tje women. His silence stung more than any verbal reproach. When she finally caught his eye, he held up a finger in a request to wait for him.

A few minutes later, he leaned over the bar in front of her.

Sanskar- What's up? Where's your friend?

Swara- She had to go.

Butterflies twittered in her stomach & her palms began to sweat. This was harder than she thought it would be.

Swara- Look, do you think we could go somewhere & talk later?

Sanskar- I'm free to go now. What do you have in mind?

Swara- Maybe a cup of coffee or something?

Swara slipped out of her uncomfortable stilettos & put on the pair of flats that she carried in her bag for walking. Sanskar adjusted his long stride to match her shorter one as they strolled along the streets of downtown in the dying daylight. They walked side by side in awkward silence, bumping shoulders occasionally, watching each other with covert sideways glances. His eyes strayed to evaluate every woman they passed, each of whom returned his stare without equal appreciation.

Sorry for making you all wait so much and still coming back with a small update.
Next update will be long enough for sure and will be in mid feb. and that would be one or two updates of the month coz i have my exams from feb. & in March you'll get updates according to my exams & schedule. I'll update once in a week from April.
