He tightens his hold on gauri with this and gauri understanding his insecurity and fear holds him tight from his waist and kisses him on his chest where his heart beats. Omkara smiles at this and kisses her on her forehead promising her to look after her and care be there for her forever and ever....

Now lets jump to the story....

Rikara’s room

Om and gauri lay down to sleep. Om has his hand placed protectively on gaurs’s waist while gauri lies down with her head on om’s chest… Soon sleep takes over them..

Next day morning....

Gauri: omkaraji naasta ready hai...neeche aajaiye jaldi ...sab aap ki intezar kar rahe hai…( omkaraji breakfast is ready…Come down fast everyone is waiting for you)

Om: haan gauri…abhi aaya...actually mujhe kuch kaam hai…tum chalo…mein aata hoon... ( yes gauri…i have some work you go while i follow you shortly)

gauri: theek hai par jaldi kijiye ( ok but make it fast)

Breakfast table

Dadi: gauri puthar...om kaha hai... ( gauri my child where is om)

Gauri: voh kuch kaam mein lage hue hai wo…abhi aa jayenge….aaplog baithiye ham abhi khanaa lekar aate hai... ( actually he is busy in some work..Will come in a few minutes..you guys sit i will get breakfast)

By then om comes and takes his seat...

Om: Goodmorning guys....

Rudy: bad morning o...

Om: kyun?? ab tumhe kya hua...??huh ( y what has happened to you now)

Rudy: yaar aaj mera college reunion hai...aur yeh bhavya mujhe apne saath shopping par lekar jaana chahti hai…kya karoo mein... ( actually today is my college reunion so bhavya wants me to take her for shopping…what should i do now)

Om: (teasing him)shhadi ki hai toh nibhani bhi padegi he na rudy boy... ( You will have to fulfil the promises made during your wedding)

By then gauri comes out with breakfast dishes

Rudy: ALOO PURI??!!!YEYY!!!BHABHI...I WAS DYING TO HAVE UR AALOOPOORI... THANK U SOO MUCH..!!!

shivkara: awe...bhabhi ki bachi..( oh you SIL’s follower)

By then swety enters

Swety: yuk!!..aloopooris itna oily breakfast kon khaata hai…i hate it...mujhe kuch light aur modern khaana laakar do ( yuk who eats this oily breakfast get me something light and english)

Gauri: (murmur)nahi denge… western khana chahiye toh kisi restaurant mein jao…yeh ghar hai humara tur yahaan sab log yahi khaate hain… ( we won’t give you..If you are so choosy better go to a restaurant .. This is our home and everybody here eats this only)

Om: (hearing what gauri said)gauri... (nd gestures hr to stay silent)

Rudy: bhabhi sahi keh dahi hain...yeh koi restaurant nahi hai jahan tum aake order karoo aur bhabhi voh tumhare liye banaye…. ( yes SIL is right… this isn’t a restaurant that you come and place a order of your liking and bhabhi will get it made for you)

Swetlana throws an angry look at shivaay...

Swetlana: dekho gauri bring me a toast and omlette..mein yeh aloopoori nahi khanewali… ( gauri bring me toast and egg i won’t eat this)

Gauri: nahi khana hai toh mat khao…anyone forced u?? ( dont eat if you dont want to)

swetlana shoots an angry glare towards shivay and gestures him to speak

Shivaay: (dejectedly) just shut up....gauri... swetlana iss ghar ki mehmaan hai...aur mehmano ko respect karna chahiye…toh tum usko wo laakar de do jo use chaheye and aage se usse iss Tarah se baat mat karna ( Gauri..swetlana is a guest in this house so we should respect our guests…Get her what she wants and dont talk to her like you did today)

gauri is almost in tears listening to her bade bhaiya shout at her and looks towards om
Om: (gestures gauri to bring what she wanted)gauri....

Gauri moves towards kitchen in anger...she was angry not coz swetys behaviour...not coz her bade bhaiyya insulted her...but coz of om’s silence...she expected her husband to react...to talk for her...but he asked her to bring what she wanted...

She made it and brought it to dining table..

She keeps the dishes on the table and was about to sit near om where she always use to sit...

Swety: gauri tum yaha bhavya ke sath baito...mujhe wo seat chaheye and settles down next to omkara

Now gouri couldnt control and she fumed to her room with teary eyes without listening to omkara calling her

jhanvi and om: yeh gauri ki jagah hai ( this is guari’s place)

swetlana: toh kya hua ab main yahan beth gyi hun..gauri kahin tur beth sakti thi.. no big deal ( so what now i am sitting here; gauri can sit somewhere else)

omkara ( angrily) : dekho yeh jagah meri wife urff gauri omkara singh oberoi ki hai aur sirf wahi yahaan  beth sakti hai…kisi aur ko yahan bethne ka koi haq non hai…samjhi???? ( look this place belongs to my wife urff Gauri omkara singh oberoi and only she has the right to sit here….Nobosy else except her has that right to sit beside me….understood???)

saying this omkara gets up pushing the food plate angrily

Swety: omkara...have ur food (saying this she hold om’s arms...

Om: (jerking her hand away forcefully) tumahri himmat kaise hui muje choone ki haan??? aur KYA CHAHIYE TUME HAA... MERI BEEVI KE PEECHE KYU PADI HO?? HA??( How dare you touch me haan ??? and what do you want tell me;; why are you troubling my wife)

looking towards shivay he says : handle your guests shivay and tell her to behave with my wife otherwise it won’t be good for her and begins to leave angrily

Dadi: puthar khana khalo.... ( son please eat)

Om: nahi chahiye daadi...(looking at swety) agar meri beevi ne kuch nahi khaaya hai toh mein bhi nahi khaoonga... ( i dont want grand ma, I will be hungry as well if my wife is staying hungry)

Om didn’t have the guts to face his chirayya...so he decided to leave to his studio......

On the other side ruvya were too dissappointed with shivay’s behaviour and om’s silence…so they too stood from there and moved towards gauri without even having breakfast

Rikara’s room

Ruvya opened the door and could only see an angry gauri who was crying hugging her knees and was curled up on bed

Rudy: bhabhi...akele kya kar rahe ho?? ( SIL what are you doing alone)

listening to them gauri gets up

Gauri: (suddently make a fake smile on her face)kuch nahi rudy bhaiyya....ham toh bass... ( nothing rudy bro..i was just)

Bhavya: naashta kyu chod ke aagyi bhabhi aap…chaliye ham ek sath khaate hain….( y did you leave breakfast and come here SIL…come we will dine together)

Gauri: nahi bhavya...hume bhook nahi hai….aap log jaake khaa lo…hum baad mein khaa lenge. ( no bhavya i am not hungry right now..You guys go and eat.. i will eat later)

Rudy: bhabhi...hum jante hai ki aap iss vakt gusse mein hai...par thoda khana kha sakte hai na...bhavya tum na ek kaam karo…nashta kamre mein le aao..ham ek sath kahalegie.. ( SIL we know you are angry right now…Bhavya do one thing go and bring some food here itself… we will eat together)

Gauri: uski koi zaroorat nahi hai rudy bhaiyya….( thats not needed rudy bhaiyaa)

Bhavya: zaroorat hai. bhabhi…mujhe bhook lagi hai...aur agar aap kuch nahi khaengi toh ham bhi nahi khaenge…bass ( its needed SIL…i am very hungry but i won’t eat until you eat)

Gauri (sighing): theek hai le aao….ham sath mein khana khaenge…. ( ok fine bring it here.. we will eat together)

meanwhile at OM’s studio…. Om was angrily pacing here and there thinking about what happened at the breakfast table

how dare she insult my gauri?? and why was shivay not saying anything to her… usually he won’t keep quiet if anybody insults his family then y did he not speak up for gauri who is like a sister to him?? i will have to find out the reason?? And gauri also must be mad at me for keeping quiet infant of swetlana.. I was the one to tell her yesterday night that she doesn’t need to do anything for that cheap lady and i will be there to protect her but i failed only a morning after promising her… I was the one who told her to bring swetlana what she had asked for…Oh lord!!! and She was crying..How could i do this ( and he punches the wall in anger) She didn’t even eat anything…I should probably go and check on her..Cant let her be by herself when that swetlana is going to be around her like a hawk..

he leaves his studio with blood oozing out

In Shivika’s room

Shivay: dekha tune anika kuise gauri ko insult karwaya usne mujse ( did you see anika how she made me insult gauri)

anika: haan shivay dekha maine ( yes shivay i saw)

shivay: Anika wo ro rahi thi…wo Muje Apna bada Bhai maanti hai anika…aur maine desho aya kaya uske saath ( she was crying; she considers me an elder bro and look what i did to her) muje use bachana chaheye tha anika par maine toh use insult he kar diya ( i should save her anika rather i ended up insulting her) he has tears in his eyes thinking about gauri

anika: ( consoling him) shaant ho jaaiye shivay…aap majboor the.aapne kuch bhi jaan mooch ke nhn kiya tha…mure yakken hai ki omkara and gauri aapki majboori ko samjhenge ( calm down shivay..You were forced to do that..you didn’t do it willingly i am sure om and gauri will understand)

shivay: i hope anika this gets solved before either of the two are hurt…and hugs anika crying like a child
