41.

Four members of a group of people who have come together under the strangest of circumstances, have come to a building within which two of them woke a few short days ago, a few short days which have also felt as if they have always been. In a way it very much as if a few days have become somewhat of an eternity.

Not much is known of what came before those days came about. More and more as it is, is being discovered of what did come before, still it is fragmented and adds to the ever-growing list of questions. The difficulty of putting it all together is akin to having a puzzle missing many of its pieces, where certain quests must be completed to gain an additional puzzle piece.

This current trip is one smallish journey within a bigger, larger scaled journey encompassed in it, and it comes in the hopes that answers can be found. Any answers which are being found are changing the questions, adding to the list. Progress is being made and the journey continues to move forwards.

Of the four who have come seeking answers, one has gone missing, vanished away from the other three without a trace. People do not vanish into nothing; they can be made to appear as if they have, and this is a potential worry. However, Bonnie did not vanish, she retreated into herself to a point where something else had taken over, ensuring that no information would be given to the other three as to where she is moving to.

Before pulling a vanishing act, Bonnie had come into a hallway along with Henry, Archer, and Sue, though what Bonnie was to see was not the same as what the other three were seeing. An investigation turned in towards a large empty room, a room which at one time was not so empty. Bonnie did not move into this room for the hallway outside this room looked very different to Bonnie than how it looked to the other three.

Henry, Archer, and Sue saw the hallway as it is ... dark, dreary, and gray. Bonnie saw the hallway as it once was, bright, warm, and full of hope, full of potential, full of healing. She became so lost in what once was that she did not follow the other three. Instead, she kept on moving along the hallway. She has become both aware and unaware at the same time, more aware of this place than what she had been when an arrival had been made a little while prior and almost unaware that she had come here with three others.

Moving with determination and focus, it is as if Bonnie needs to be somewhere in particular and she finds that somewhere with ease and speed as if she knows this place like the back of her own hand. It could be questionable as to how well Bonnie actually does knows the back of her own hand, however, the destination is reached without so much as the slightest consideration being needed to navigate a route to that destination. Just where that destination is? Well that so happens to be a large rectangular room with eight singular beds.

This room with the eight beds, Bonnie has been in here before as have the others and now that she is here again, her trance like state releases her from the hold it took of her. A hold like this has taken her in the past, only it was darker, and it lasted for a lengthy period of time. She heads towards one bed in particular, the bed she had occupied. She picks up a pillow and holds it tight as if a scent, her own scent, emanates strongly from it.

This scent, if there is a scent, if it can be something real, imagined or remembered, is all she can smell despite how strong a burning rusted musk within this room has become. It is having an effect equivalent to a return of a favourite comfort blanket would have on a child. Well and truly within the confines of this room and with her back to the entrance with which she had come through, Bonnie kind of instinctively knows that she is not alone. Someone else has entered this room.

It is not so much company that Bonnie doesn't like but more a gathering of people especially if those who have gathered are people she does not know. She has become accustomed to those who make up the group she is a part of ... Henry more so than any of the others, so the arrival of one other is not frightening to her despite the fact she has yet to turn and view who this person is.

This person who has entered the room could be anyone, this person could have evil intentions, that person may want to inflict harm though Bonnie senses that this is not the case. If she were to turn, she may not recognize the newcomer to the room though even without turning Bonnie knows there is something to recognize.

He is male, this arriving fellow, though he is not Henry or Archer, and he is not any other member of the forgetful group. Here, this building and in this moment, he belongs, and this is what she can sense of him. He has something to do with all that is occurring, he has something to do with all which has occurred, and this fellow has recently come into close proximity with Bonnie.

In the lobby of The Mulberry Hotel, when Bonnie had sat with Sue, this fellow was near, he had been observing. Sue noticed him but only ever so briefly. Sue recognized him though how or why she recognized him she did not know. With how her feet were on that occasion Sue did not take an opportunity to go investigate just who this fellow may be.

With her memory loss there was no way Sue could have known that she owes her life to this fellow, for he prevented her from possible drowning. It could be said, if it could be remembered, that this fellow may have also been the cause for the circumstances which led Sue to be in a situation where she found herself in difficulty.

Back to a moment within a room of importance.

'Who are you?' Bonnie asks, having to yet still turn around to he who has entered.

'How did you know I was here?' he asks in return.

'You do not really need to ask me that, do you?'

'No, I guess not. There was always something about you which we could never really tap into, I still hold on for hope.'

'So ...' Bonnie turns around to see a tall slim blond-haired fellow whose hair is parted to one side. 'You still haven't told me who you are'. Bonnie is as calm as she can remember ever being, right from the moment she first awoke in room 211 a few days ago right up to now and maybe even before her moment of wakening.

'Who I am right now doesn't really matter. There will be time for introductions, I promise you that.'

'You know who I am, don't you?'

'I do, again that can wait.'

'Please tell me who I am.'

'I will tell you your name and I will tell you no more as more will come in time. I know you are going by the name Bonnie now. You sang that song of yours even when you stayed here. This is not the first time you have gone by another name ... I am straying already. Your name my dear, is Elaine.'

Bonnie wants to say this name out loud, but she can't. Emotion is getting the better of her. Her eyes are welling up, a lump is forming in her throat and every fiber of her being is telling her that the name Elaine does belong to her. She has questions, so many questions. Answers, other answers will come first.
