"They're mine."

I groaned internally at Jungkook inserting himself in the conversation. I took a sharp breath. "Hoseok, you remember me telling you about my friend that crashes here sometimes?" He nodded. I opened up the doorway more so that Hoseok had a better view of Jungkook. "Jung Hoseok, this is Jeon Jungkook, my best friend."

Jungkook smiled nervously and walked closer, extending a hand for Hoseok to shake. "Nice to finally meet you, Hoseok! Yoongi has told me about how you're helping his stubborn ass find love again."

Hoseok chuckled nervously. "I'm trying to, yep."

I chewed on my bottom lip as they introduced themselves. I was nervous for them to meet each other. They both knew way too much about me, and it was dangerous to reveal yourself to people.

I cleared my throat. "Um, Hobi, how about I give you that ride so you can get home and warmed up, hm?"

Hoseok gave me a weird look, his eyes flicking between Jungkook and me. After a few seconds, he nodded. "I am actually freezing, so that would be nice."

I hummed in acknowledgement and grabbed my keys. "Kook, you could use a shower. You know where everything is, but please reconsider your actions before you do anything."

Jungkook nodded immediately, a sad look in his eyes, as he understood what I was referring to.

On that note, I turned back to face Hossok and gave him a small, closed-mouth smile. "Ready?"

"So, that was your best friend, huh?" Hoseok said once we were in my car.

"Yeah."

Hoseok nodded, his hands rubbing up and down his thighs. "He's cute. Is he gay by chance?"

I had to swallow the lump in my throat. I felt like I was suffocating. My heart shattered, making it hard to breath. I took a, hopefully not noticeable to Hoseok, shakey breath. "He's bisexual."

Hoseok smiled bigger. "Great! You should give me his number! I know someone who would love to get to know him."

I pulled the car over into a parking lot, putting the car in park, my hands gripping the wheel tight, so tight my knuckles turned white. "I don't need to hear about how you're interested in Jungkook, Hoseok." My voice was almost a low growl, my emotions clouding over my better judgement.

Hoseok looked at me, sheer surprise in his face. His eyes were wide and his mouth hung open slightly. He took a few seconds to respond, his mouth moving up and down like he wanted to talk, but couldn't.

"I-I-I'm not interested in him, Yoongi."

I rolled my eyes, not even having time to respond before he started to speak again.

"My best friend, Taehyung, um, I just thought they would be cute together. I'm sorry for making you upset. If you're that protective of your best friend, then you don't have to let me introduce him to Taehyung. It's okay."

I took a deep breath, almost a sigh of relief, and felt my hands release their grip on the steering wheel. "I-I'm not that protective of him. I mean, I am, but not like that. If you want to introduce him and Taehyung to each other, that's okay."

He quirked his head to the side a little, eyes squinting close together. "Are you sure?"

I nodded, taking the car out of park again and pulling out into the road. "I'm positive."

I heard him shuffle properly into his seat. The rest of the car ride was silent, almost to an uncomfortable point.

As I pulled up outside his building, I knew I didn't want to leave him quite yet. I quickly tried to formulate an excuse to be with him longer.

"Thank you for the ride, Yoongs!" Hoseok said as he opened the door to start getting out of the car. I watched him close the door, and I grabbed my keys, hopping out of my car.

"Hoseok!"

He turned to face me, a slight tilt of his head and a single eyebrow raised. "Yeah?"

"I, uh, need to pee. Can I use your bathroom?"

Hoseok chuckled and nodded, waving for me to follow him in.

I stood in his bathroom, gripping the sink tight as I tried to calm down my emotions. I knew I liked Hoseok. Too much. I had to distance myself, but it was hard to do when my emotions and body were saying different things from my brain.

I pretended to wash my hands, trying to be convincing, and I opened the door. When I walked out of the bathroom, I gasped slightly.

There he was in all of his glory. Shirtless. His tanned skin didn't have a single flaw. His back was perfect. The way skin hugged every knick of his body was just perfect.

Hoseok turned around, a light blush on his cheeks. "Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you would be done already."

I didn't say anything. I couldn't say anything. His abs were visible from feet away, and the way his pecks accentuated everything perfectly. I felt myself drooling and shook my head, forcing myself not to stare.

"Um, sorry, I-I should've knocked."

Hoseok chuckled and shrugged. "It's whatever. I was about to take a warm shower anyways." I nodded, watching as he walked closer, not a single ounce of fat on his gorgeous chest.

He stepped closer to me until he stood only a few inches away. He wore a slight smirk. "I'll see you tomorrow then?"

I nodded and watched him enter his bathroom, closing and locking the door. I took a breath and grabbed my car keys, leaving his apartment.

I sat in my car, eyes closed tight, but only the image of a shirtless Hoseok came into view. I shook my head and opened my eyes again, starting the car.

"Well, fuck."

Not my best work but it's starting to get a little saucy.
