Bua dadi asked Anika to prepare 16 dishes. Anika and Shivaay looked at her in shock but Anika nodded her head agreeing to the condition.

Bua dadi smirked as she thought that Anika won't be able to prepare it. Shivaay looked at Anika worriedly as he also thought the same as Anika grew up between an army of servants and he doubted that Anika will be able to cook. He knew that she can cook but 16 dishes was lot of hardwork and complication.

A- Okay, bua dadi. I'll prepare 16 dishes and prove my ability of being a good wife, daughter-in-law and guardian.

Bua dadi nodded with a smirk.

B- Just don't burn the kitchen as we are left with this only and now that Shivaay is handicapped, we can't afford a new house.

Bua said said and Anika felt anger when she taunted Shivaay and Shivaay's eyes got filled with tears as he realised his condition.

A- I'm sorry to say, Bua dadi but you don't have any rights to say something so mean to my husband. My husband is not handicapped. He is strong and very much capable of handling his family. I promise that he'll be fine like before in few weeks.

Bua Dadi looked at Anika angrily and Shivaay looked at Anika with a soft expression. He looked at Anika with a small smile and she smiled back.

B- You.....?

Before bua dadi could say anything, Anika interrupted her.

A- I'll go and prepare the lunch, after all I've to prepare 16 dishes.

Anika smirked and walked inside the kitchen and Shivaay followed her.

S- Thank you for taking my stand.

A- It's Nothing. Family means a lot to me and I can't bear when someone badmouths them or harms them. And you and kiara are my family now and let me tell you I'm very possessive about my family.

Anika said the last line with a chuckle and Shivaay chuckled too.

S- Ummm...

A- What happened?

S- Are you sure you can cook 16 dishes? I mean it's very difficult.

Shivaay asked her nervously and Anika looked at him with a smirk.

A- You have a lot to know about me, mister. For starters, let me tell you that I've a master degree in culinary arts.

Anika said with a proud smile and Shivaay looked at her in shock.

S- What? I thought you studied business.

A- Hmm.. I guess someone researched about me.

Anika asked him with a teasing smile and Shivaay averted his gaze from her feeling embarrassed about searching about her on Google. Anika chuckled after looking at him blush and she felt it was cute.

A- Well, I've two master degrees, one in business and one in culinary. I always liked to cook and experiment on new dishes but dad wanted me to study business. So after completing my business studies, I decided to study culinary. Dad still don't know about it.

Anika said and Shivaay smiled.

S- Do you want my help to cook?

A- No I'll be fine. You go and rest.

S- Are you sure?

Anika nodded her head and Shivaay smiled and left.

Anika sighed and tucked her saree pallu in her waist and started cooking.

It was around 1 when all the dishes were done.

She looked at the clock worriedly as it was the time Kiara's school got over. She was rushing out of the kitchen when Shivaay stopped her.

S- Where are you going?

A- I totally forgot about Kiara's school time. I'll just go and pick her up.

Anika said worriedly and Shivaay smiled.

S- Don't worry about her. I asked my friend/manager, Rudra to pick her up. They're about to reach home.

Shivaay said and Anika sighed in relief.

A- Okay. The lunch is prepared. I'll just keep it on the table.

Shivaay nodded his head and helped her to bring the lunch to the table.

At the same time, the doorbell rang and Anika rushed to open the door.

She unlocked the door and Kiara hugged her tightly.

K- Hi doll.

A- Hello my baby. How was school?

Anika said while kneeling in front of Kiara and pecked her cheeks.

K- It was good. I got A++ in my drawing.

Anika looked at her with proud.

A- Wow, my baby is so brilliant. Come on now, let's get you freshen up and we'll eat food.

Kiara nodded her head and rushed towards her room.

Anika stood up and looked at the body builder like man in his early 20s.

A- hi. I'm Anika. Shivaay's wife.

The man looked at her with a wide smile.

R- Hi bhabhi. I'm Rudra, Shivaay's friend and manager. It was time that Shivaay got married and I must say he did great.

Rudra said and Anika smiled at him.

A- Come in.

Rudra entered the house and hugged Shivaay and touched Bua dadi's feet.

R- Maa, what are you doing here?

B- Oh! I was just worried about Shivaay.

Bua dadi said faking tears and Anika rolled her eyes.

Anika went to Kiara's bedroom and helped her to dress up.

A- Wow! You look like an angel.

Kiara smiled and pecked Anika's cheek.

A- Come on. Let's give some food to this little tummy of yours.

Anika tickled Kiara's stomach and she giggled. Anika smiled and Walked towards dining room along with Kiara.

She saw everyone was already seated and there were 2 empty chairs, one beside Rudra and one beside Shivaay. Kiara immediately went and sat beside Rudra.

B- So what did you make? Are these bowls even filled or empty?

Bua dadi asked with a smirk.

A- I didn't knew that you liked to eat air, Bua dadi.

Anika said and Shivaay controlled his laugh while Rudra choked on his water while controlling his laugh. Bua dadi glared at Anika angrily. Anika smiled innocently and uncovered all the bowls.

Everyone was shocked after looking at so. Many yummy dishes and Bua dadi's eyes were ready to pop out.

Anika looked at her with a smirk.

A- Do you want anything more, bua dadi?

Bua dadi shook her head in shock.

R- Wow bhabhi. That's incredible. You prepared so many dishes and everything looks yummy.

Anika just smiled and served food to everyone.

A- Don't worry, everything is healthy for you and kiara.

Anika said while looking at Shivaay and he nodded with smile.

Anika settled beside him and Everyone started having lunch.

After finishing their lunch, Bua dadi went to her bedroom without saying a word, Rudra left and Anika made kiara take her afternoon nap.

She took some herbal oil and heated it a little. She poured it in a small bowl and walked towards their bedroom.

She saw Shivaay sitting on the bed with closed eyes and his legs spread on the bed.

She smiled and sat near his feet and started massaging his feet. Shivaay was startled at her act and opened his eyes immediately and looked at her in shock.

S- What are you doing?

A- Massaging your feet. Doctor said it will help you to recover.

S- You don't have to do this. I'll do it on my own.

A- No need. I took the responsibility to take care of you and I'm doing the same so shut up.

Anika said with a frown and Shivaay pouted.

She massaged his feet and his calves. Shivaay was just admiring her.

A- Okay. Now I'm going to bend your leg a little. If you feel anything, please tell me.

Shivaay nodded his head.

Anika held his leg with both her hands, one below his knee and one holding his foot. She slowly bent it. She did it for 5 times and then did the same for another leg.

A- Did you feel anything?

Anika asked him and Shivaay shook his head in negative.

Anika's eyes saddened a little but she immediately covered it with a smile.

A- Don't worry, it will improve. I'm sure, you'll be able to walk again.

Anika said and Shivaay smiled at her hope. After his accident, he lost all his hope to walk again but after seeing Anika's hope, his heart wanted to believe her and a new confidence born inside him and he decided that he will try everything to make her efforts succeed, to walk again.
