When she and her family (Besides the father and mother), they had a diner, their father and mother abandoned them to go on their own little trip. Serenity's family thought they had their life figured out until Serenity was a target of an old man. In the heat of the moment her big sister, Lazel, knocked out the old man before he could even touch her and killed him by curve stomping him in the head. In fear of being found out for murder, the family hid the body under the floorboards of the family diner.

Serenity felt guilty for being quote on quote "weak", but her family tried to reassure her. it seemed like everything was smoothing over after a year of business until the great earthquake of the 2000s happened, killing the family in the prosses. surprise, surprise, they ended up in hell, for what? for not making amends to god after they killed the old man who may I remind you tried to fiddle with Serenity, and killed in self defense. Serenity thought it was all her fault, 'If only I let the old man do it, than maybe my family would be in heaven' at least that's what she thought.

They than started a diner in hell, and it was a big hit until a month later when the Exorcists arrived, killing a bunch of sinners, and trashing the family diner. after the onslaught of countless people. the family was left with no diner to go back to, until they were offered a place to stay by the daughter of lucifer herself, Charlie. ever since that day, which was three days ago, they work for Charlie by being her kitchen staff and entertainment staff.
