It's a reunion in KMA
The 2007 batch was excited to come back.
The teaching staff was looking forward for this reunion too...

Suriji wanted to witness what has become of alekh....
Shalini was excited to meet ud.... They had Always hit a vibe.
Besides he was the only one who use to make feel Shalini special after a long time.
and Rajveer was on cloud nine

"Hey doc
Do you have something to clear tan "
He asked earning a look from Shalini

"You want to detan your skin"
She asked trying to mask her mocking

"Yeah I mean
Have been out a lot lately "

She suppress her smile and continue

"Collect after lunch "

She decided to spare him .

The reunion was supposed to be a blast
Alekh was there with his girlfriend Amani
She was a dentist

Ali and Pooja were looking forward to meet

Huda was excited to create a ruckus

And ud was on the happily waiting To see Shalini.  Naina  felt tremors of excitement inside her. Going to KMA as an officer without that prejudiced and forbidden tag of student teacher... They had more freedom than before. At least she could sit with him and talk like a normal person. there won't be scrutinizing gazes.

She wondered how rajveer sir would have felt about this reunion. But more than that she was excited to go to his alma mater. Be there and feel a lot. KMA had given her much with taking a lot from her. It was bittersweet. But right now she was happy to go there.

She reached KMA just two hours before the given time. Pooja was waiting for her impatiently. Seeing Naina she waved he both hands. this made naina giggle.

"Oyee. Tera sim card kaha he?"

Naina said nothing.

"Mera shahrukh?"

"I don't know. Must be busy with some work. He will be joining with abhimanyu sir and shalini ma'am."

"shahrukh ke sim card ke sath abhimanyu sir ki ringtone?" she made a face.

"hi guys!" yudi arrived and waved both girls. naina forwarded to give him a hug while pooja gave him a big smile.

"where are other people?" he asked.

"taking their own time. Let's go somewhere and sit. It will take some time here." Naina suggested.

All three nodded and went towards the playground. KMA had so many memories for everyone of them.

"Has anyone noticed that the ground is more cleaner and greener than it was in our time?" Yudi suddenly complained.

"Zarur major nair ke jaane ka nateeja he ye. Usko hamare network se kuch jyada hi issue tha." Pooja made face.

Naina said nothing and Pooja and yudi got engrosses in talking. Soon alekh and huda joined them together.

"whya re you guys so late?" Yudi was excited to meet his pals. Everybody was in touch yet the on person meet was something nothing could suffice.

"Is yede se pooch. Apun ko fokat ka ghooma rela he."

Everybody looked at huda who gave an evil grin.

"Don't.think.of.it! If we get caught to bahut hungama hoga." Naina warned huda after getting a whiff of his evil plans.

"Chhori darti kay ko he! Poora full proof plan he. It will be fun. Moreover I really really wanna see Rajveer sir as a normal officer."

"Kya matlab he tera? Wo normal nahi he." Naina got offended. Alekh chuckled.

"Aree mera matlab wo nahi tha.

Tu chhor. Jaane de.

Philhal aaj sham it's gonna be a bang. Blast. KMA will always remember this reunion."

"Wo to waise bhi rakhega chief. After MC' arrest it's first major gathering. "

"Us manhoos ka naam na lo. Mere system me virus aa jata he uske naam se." Pooja made faces. Everybody smiled. Soon huda was ready with his evil plan and alekh somehow showing no interest helped him with small details. Yudi' overexcited remarks once and now reached everybody's ears.

When ali arrived everybody was ready to enter the venue. The thrill, nostalgia and ecstasy filled their bones.

Inside Suriji was holding the mic and ordering the orchestra to play some softcore pop. Meanwhile the old students of 2007 who were near the stage were asking for hardcore music.

Seeing the small commotion alekh nudged huda.

"Is se accha mauka nahi milega. " Huda nodded and rushed towards the drink section.

Suddenly....

"Cadets!” lolita ma'am was right on their heads. Huda and alekh cursed their stars.

" Where are you going, cadet huda?" She asked looking straight Into his eyes.

"Wo.... Wo... Drinks milane.. I mean drinks laane." Huda stammered.

"Good. Bring one glass for me as well." Saying this she stood among them and waited for her drink to arrived.

"Apun bhi sath chalta he. Itna sara glass ek sath kaise aayega! yudi. tu bhi sath chal.” alekh took huda yudi towards the drinks.

"Ye alekh bhai ko kya soojhi ek dum se." Ali murmured to which pooja stepped on his foot.

Everybody was holding their breaths until huda arrived with a medium glass of orange juice and a coke. Alekh was tagging with a dozen glasses of coke while yudi staggered with his one glass.

"Thanks cadet. I mean officer." Lolita ma'am expressed her gratitude then moved out towards the stage where suriji was still arguing about music.

"100 rupaye ki shart. Lolita ma'am suriji ki class lagayengi aaj rat." Huda chuckled.

"Apun ye drinks sabko de kar aata he." alekh rushed to execute the plan.

"You are not an orderly anymore. They will doubt you! ” yudi suddenly exclaimed.

" Drop this plan guys. For God' s sake. " Naina felt this plan would create a huge commotion. She didn't want to go through any ruckus before she could spend some time with rajveer sir. She had not seen him yet.

"Chup kar." She was told shut. Alekh and huda rushed towards the teachers. Meanwhile yudi kept on looking here and there with excitement. Pooja and ali got busy talking. Naina had to check her phone now and then.

Finally after two hours the reunion party was seriously becoming a blast. Abhimanyu, suriji and Lolita ma'am were serious drunk. Abhi was playing drums non stop. Suriji and Lolita ma'am were doing tango on the stage.

"Ye abhimamyu sir ko neeche utaaro yaar. Mere kaan phat jayenge. It was a wrong decision to spike his drink." Yudi complained.

"Shalini ma'am ke glass me bhi do boond dala apun!" Alekh gave him a sly wink.

"what the hell! " Saying this he ran away to find her again. When shalini had arrived yudi greeted her but they could not talk. Now when the party had almost settled and alekh had already spiked her drink yudi needed to see her. He couldn't leave her alone. more like he didn't want to leave her alone

"Tu rajveer sir ki drink ke sath bhi kuch kiya kya?" Naina asked huda strictly.

"Main unko do glass dekar to aaya tha. Ek glass us geet gaate banjare ne chhen liya aur dusra... Pata nahi unhone piya ya nahi." Naina almost hit him.

"Cadetsssss! Why are you guys enjoying alone? Join the party. Go there." BC arrived with a huge smile and pushed all of them towards the place where teachers were sitting half drunk half conscious.

"Iska system bhi hanged he?" Pooja looked at alekh who winked at her.

Soon they sat among drunk abhimanyu, half dead suriji and Lolita ma'am. BC tried to join but soon officers au other table pulled him. It was once in a lifetime that BC was letting everyone do whatever they wanted to. Two officers dragged BC to the stage and asked him to sing.

"Rajveeeerrrrrrrrr! ” abhimanyu shouted seeing Rajveer on the other side. Naina turned at once. Rajveer sir was talking with a cadet. Naina smiled looking at him. They had greeted each other before and during the party but somehow they were not able to sit and talk. Naina wanted to talk to him.

"Aapki... Favorite protege idhar baithi he... Aap waha dusre students ke sath kya kar rahe he? " Abhimanyu laughed asking the question to rajveer who was about to sit. He couldn't sit hearing him.

Rajveer looked at everyone. Nobody gave any expression. He suddenly felt bit courageous to do something he would never have done before.

He sat besides naina..

"Wooohhhhhooooooo" Once again abhimanyu whistled.

"Suriji. Mujhe ice cream khani he." Lolita ma'am out of context ordered which suriji without a question complied with.  Both left.

Now the two places were empty. Shalini appeared out of nowhere and filled the vacant seat in front of rajveer. Yudi came after two seconds.

"This party is so lit! ” shalini exclaimed.

" Lit?" Rajveer looked at her with

"Good. Burning. Blast.

By the way rajveer. Tumhari skin bahut chamak rahi he... Kya raaj he iska?" She looked at him then naina amd gave an evil smile.

"Hmmmmmmm.. Humko bhi jan na he. Aapke is nikhar ka raaj. Rajveer." Abhimanyu joined the teasing. Rajveer glared at both of them.

"Sir. Humko bhi jan na he. Batayiye na." Pooja quipped.

"Main batati hu cadet ghai.

Rajveer did a facial for this party! ”

Everybody looked at rajveer then started laughing. Naina suppressed her laugh.

" I will not spare you." He glared at her

"Oh. Sorry. Sorry guys. It was not facial.

It was a detan pack!" Shalini explained. This earned another round of laughter. rajveer' ears turned pink.

"sir. kaun sa pack tha? brijesh ke sath ghoomte ghoomte mera rang bhi kuch upar neeche ho gya he.i also wanna try." huda sked with curiosity masking his intent. rajveer glared at him.

"cadet huda!" he warned him.

"chhoriye na captain. we all know no detan pack can work on cadet huda! ofc for obvious reasons. " now this earned a huge laughter. huda made face. naina too giggled.

"dont you guys have anything better to do?'' rajveer asked in light tone.

"hai na. but if i start talking about that to aap bahut naraz ho jayenge!" shalini winked at him.

"doc. do you plan to write my story? you really love to talk about me." rajveer asked shal with a fake attitude.

"only if you let me....

but i must remind you it may or may not be pg rated.'' she giggled. rajveer blushed hearing her last remark.

"you really imagine a lot! alot...i mean."

shal laughed. before they could tease each other more abhimanyu started creating ruckus. He once again stepped towards the stage.

"Hum bhool gaye the hume violin bhi bajana aata he. I will play that." Hearing abhi huda rushed to stop him.

"Sir. Sir. Aaj ke liye itna kaafi he. Aap violin kal bajana."

"To phir hum baasuri bajeyenge. I feel like music is rushing in my blood."

"Use music nahi kahte sir..

Sir. Neeche utariye." Huda tried to pull abhi down who was once again holding the stick to beat the drums.

"Apun ki sab utar gayi." Alekh too rushed to save everyone from musical torture of abhimanyu. before he could snatch the sticks from him abhimanyu was blowing trumpet and many junior officers had started recording.

shal saw this and started laughing.

"she is almost wasted!" rajveer pointed to shal.

"yeah. i would take her to infirmary. she could get a bit sober to at least stand up and move." yudi said. rajveer nodded. yudi held shal by her shoulders and make her stand up. she giggled.

"i never thought i would like this stubble on you, cadet!'' shalini exclaimed out of blue.

"me too.'' and he took her away.

with so many people around yet nobody next to them rajveer felt like talking.

"whose idea was to spike the drinks?'' he asked with amusement hidden in his eyes. naina got shocked and then next moment she was sitting comfortably and replying him.

"of course huda. who else.''

''tum log nahi sudhroge na?.''
Affection was so audible in his voice for all his cadets to

" Maine rokne ki koshish ki thi... But you know them all
He laughed 
"Yes I do"

!" he looked at her. their gazes collided. nobody spoke for a few seconds and then they shared a small smile.

"do you like such kind of parties? like all shor sharaba and rush?" naina asked.

"a little less. not that i hate or dislike them but i prefer close gatherings. with little less noise of course.

and you?"

"depends. for birthdays..yes and for other days...i guess no. actually naveen bhaiya used to celebrate his birthday with such pomp and show that later i also got used to it."

"he was a princess inside!" this made naina laugh
And he was just proud that he has the skill of making her happy
He can make her laugh ..

He had always managed to draw a laugh or two from since they had started there alliance

In fact he use to make effort to make her feel normal and merry.

"You are looking stunning in this dress "
He gave her a compliment and he wasn't shaky or timid this time

He knew what he was saying

And she was kind of secretly waiting for his compliment through  out the evening.

She never bothers what anyone thinks about her or say about her.

But what he think of her , matters.

She blushed very low key and said thank you.

"Achcha tell me one thing
You really had a detan"
She asked with poker face .

And he gave her his signature irritated look.

"Han Maine Kiya detaan
So what
Just because I  am a man main skin care nahi kar sakta
That's so sexest "

She chuckled so hard that he got more mad.

"Abhi sir sahi kehte hai"

"Kya kehta hai. Wo"
He was looking adorable with all the furrowed eyebrows

"Apko chidana bohott asan hai.
Ap kitni jaldi trigger ho jate ho"

And as she laughed some more again it fixed  something inside him.
He just sat there with her able to enjoy the luxury of talking with her without  any worry of any scandal getting out of it.

meanwhile in infirmary yudi was holding a glass of water for shalini who was just giggling non stop.

"ma'am. this would help. take a sip and you will feel better."

"no. i already feel better!'' and she laughed loudly on her joke. yudi pulled a chair and sat next to her. he took his blazer off then he started loosening his tie. he uncuffed his shirt' sleeves and folded it. shalini' giggles slowly came to an end. there came a small silent amidst which yudi relaxed himself in that shirt and stretched his legs.

"girls like that!" hearing shal he looked up.

"what?"

"that folded cuffs and strong arms." yudi raised his eyebrows.

"and why?" he asked

"no idea.'' shal shrugged her shoulders

''why not? you are also a woman. you never liked a man in folded cuffs and strong forearms."

"we are in defence, cadet. every second man here has strong arms."

"so you dont like man around you? or you dont like man in defence?" he turned to her.

"not like that. not that i have a type but when i know that this person is just showing off his power his attractiveness dies for me. i find a simple gesture more attractive than a show.''

"so you would like a hand made tea more than CCD or Barista?"

she nodded.

"no matter how the relation is i would prefer the other person does small things. i would prefer that my friend or family or anyone else chooses to sit with me instead gifting me some expensive thing!"

yudi nodded. shal suddenly excitingly turned towards him. their knees almost touching.

"thats enough about me. what about you? what's your type?"

"you." he replied while looking straight into her eyes. a sudden silence prevailed. shal coughed a little and tried to move a little back. yudi held her seat.

"i like you. i like that you are resilient. i like that you are preserving. i like your fighting spirit. your jolly nature and your smiling eyes has held me captive. i love how you support rajveer sir. i love how you have been carrying yourself."

shal couldn't speak a word. the drowsiness and lightheadedness she was feeling started to dissipate.

"i didnt want to tell you about my feelings like this. i would have preferred you were sober. but i cant control every thing, can i!" shal looked at his hand which was strongly holding her seat. she couldn't move even if she wanted to.

"i know its sudden. and i honestly don't expect you to reply me or give me some hope or anything.

in fact i would like us to go for a coffee and talk about this when you are sober and free."

shal was silent. yudi said nothing after that. after few minutes he stood up.

"where are you going?"

"to fetch a water bottle. this one is empty." he left shalini lost in thoughts. when he returned he was holding two water bottles. and a small cup of ice-cream.

"sweets never goes with liquor. but i felt like brining this for you. blueberry ice cream.'' he handed that to shal.

shal tasted that ice cream with some hesitancy. when that ice cream melt in her mouth she could feel yudi' lingering eyes on her. however that gaze was no where alarming. in fact for first time she felt that this person next to her isnt same cadet yudi anymore. somehow this person who used to be her student is now a grown up who could express his like and dislike. who could bring her a small cup of blueberry ice cream even if ice creams doesnt go well with water.

shal finally took a look at yudi who was looking straight while holding that water bottle in his hands. whatever he said few minutes ago was repeating in her ears. his silent yet loud "you" was ringing in her ears.

shal took a deep breath.

"i would go for a coffee with you ....but not in CCD or starbucks."

yudi suddenly turned to her then he gave her a small smile.

"with my salary i swear i cant afford someone who loves starbucks!"

she laughed with him and felt a more fresh than she did in this year...
