Danielle 'Dani' Walsh hadn't always had it easy in life. From an early age her older brother, Shane neglected the young girl from reasons unknown. Whether it was because she took attention away from him from their parents or simple because he didn't want her around, she didn't know.

(Though Shane had no problem letting her know how he truly felt)

The young Walsh girl had struggled with mental health for as long as she could remember.

Her crippling thoughts.

Though she was only twenty years old, she had been battling with her own mind for too long. At seventeen, Danielle was diagnosed with depression, causing a sense of relief to flow through her veins. Finally she had something to latch onto. Finally she knew what was truly wrong with her.

Cured??

For a while, her life hadn't been too bad. That is until her mother died suddenly in her sleep, only for her father to follow two weeks later. Seemingly having died from a broken heart.

That had been a serious punch in the gut for the young woman, who now only had an older brother who despised her. A brother who, when she called in tears as she struggled to deal with the death of their parents, demanded she stopped calling him once and for all, insisting he had his own life now and their parents weren't alive to make him acknowledge her anymore. Shane truly hated her and she couldn't understand why. But it's when she receives a phone call from him on one fateful day that her life would never be the same.
