Hey everyone! It's me, Shadow 264 and WELCOME to the first episode of the FOURTH VOLUME of RWBY: (Genius Gamer Shadow) Ex-Aid Reader x Ruby Rose where everything will begin, ONCE AGAIN but this time, the Beginning of our journey to Mistral Haven Academy, BABY!!! So, to recap once again, I DO NOT OWN RWBY AND I DO NOT OWN KAMEN RIDER EX-AID!! RWBY is owned by RoosterTeeth and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is owned by Toei. So, now sit back, enjoy and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!

*hits gong real hard*

3rdPerson's POV:

In a dark and desolate land made up of red ground, purple crystals, and a red and black clouded sky, Grimm of all kind are seen rising from a black pool of goo. Mercury and Emerald's face are reflected in a window, watching from inside a high building. Emerald has her hand to her mouth while Mercury seems slightly disgusted. Mercury and Emerald retreated from the window as soon as they heard the snap of a finger.

At the center the large windowed room is a long purple, crystal table. Four people sit at the table with seven chairs. One of them is Cinder. 

A man with a short black and gray hair, wearing a gray overcoat with yellow linings, a yellow dress shirt and a black necktie is sitting across from Cinder, looking at his Scroll.

To Cinder's right is a somewhat psychotic man dressed in a white sleeveless jacket with leather belts strapped to it. He sits in a crouch casually on his chair, resting his arms on his knees.

Across from is another man, a large and muscular, with short brown hair, a beard and hazel eyes. His arms are crossed, and he looks asleep.

Cinder sits quietly, while Mercury and Emerald move to her side. Emerald nudges Mercury out of her way so that she can be directly next to Cinder.

Man with Gray Hair: Yes, yes, please keep your... posse in check.

Mercury grunts and makes a move towards the man, but Emerald holds him back.

Man with Gray Hair: You hear that? Silence.

Hazel gives Watts an unimpressed sideways glance.

Man with Gray Hair: I've half a mind to thank the little girl that bested you.

Psychotic man: If I were you, I'd hunt her down. Find her and, well, she took your eye, didn't she?

Cinder only stares at the psychotic man while he cackles at her. Cinder tries to speak but only manages to make quiet exhaling noises. Emerald leans in to hear her.

Man with Gray Hair: Pathetic. Why did you even—

There is then a sound of a heavy metal door being unlatched. The doors open and everyone stands just before a woman dressed in a long black dress enters. The woman glides alongside the table with soft footsteps before reaching the head of it, jewels jangling from her hair. Salem stops, facing away from them and toward a candle and crystal display and her purple crystal-like throne.

Salem: Watts.

The man with the gray hair, apparently named Watts, straightens, looking toward her. Then, the woman turns to face them.

Salem: Do you find such malignance necessary?

She then gestures for all to sit down.

Watts: I apologize, ma'am. I'm not particularly fond of failure.

Salem: Then I see no reason for your cruelty towards young Cinder. She's become our Fall Maiden, destroyed Beacon Tower, and most importantly, killed dear Ozpin. So I'm curious, to what failures are you referring?

Watts: Well, the girl with the Silver Eyes.

Muscular Man: Yes. We've dealt with their kind before. How is it a novice was able to best one of us?

Watts: My thoughts exactly. Even without her new power, it should have been effortless.

Salem: It is because of the Maiden's power. And the fact this novice wasn't exactly alone.

Muscular Man: Yes. I've heard rumors that a boy, who possesses the Winter Maiden's own power, was with the boy.

Cinder slightly quivers in terror at the mention as the memory of witnessing me unleashing the full might of my power and her near defeat were still fresh in her mind, giving her occasional nightmares about it every now and then. Watts turns to the buff man with a surprised look.

Watts: Excuse me, but did you just say a "boy"? A male possesses the Winter Maiden's power?

Salem: It seems so. Thanks to Cinder's information, it appears that this boy is the offspring of the last Winter Maiden. The very first offspring from any Maiden in existence, but make no mistake, Cinder, you hold the key to our victory. But your newfound strength brings with it a crippling weakness. Which is why you will remain by my side as we continue your treatment.

Cinder is unhappy about this and lowers her head. Emerald looks at her in sympathy.

Salem: Dr. Watts, you are to take Cinder's place and meet with our informant in Mistral.

Watts: Very good.

Salem: Tyrian, I want you to continue your hunt for the Spring Maiden.

Tyrian: Gladly.

Salem: And Hazel, I'm sending you to the leader of the White Fang. Adam Taurus has arranged the meeting. The boy continues to prove loyal. Ensure that Sienna Khan feels the same.

Hazel: As you wish.

Just before they could conclude, Cinder raises a finger, which Emerald fails to notice this gesture for a moment.

Emerald: Oh!

Emerald leans in to hear her. Cinder rasps something into her ear. Dr. Watts raises an eyebrow at them, curious what Cinder is whispering about. After that, Emerald straightens.

Salem: Speak, child.

Emerald: She wants to know.... What about the girl and the boy?

Dr. Watts scoffs mockingly as the topic was brought up. 

Watts: What about them? Seems to me that this is Cinder's problem, not ours.

Cinder slams her fist onto the table and glares at Watts, who just grins at her.

???: THAT'S ENOUGH OUT OF YOU, OLD MAN!!!!!

When everyone heard this, the doors banged open, revealing a middle-aged man with similar japanese clothing from before with the same fan he carries along, walking pass the doors, leaving behind a hord of dead Grimm, withering away. Upon his arrival, he turned into his true form and walked towards Watts.

Gemdeus Machina: I would rather suggest that... you mind your TONE UPON THIS GIRL... IF SHE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT ABOUT THEM, IT IS NOT JUST HER OWN PROBLEM... It's "ours"...

To a sudden boom of Gemdeus's words, Watts suddenly felt not so good thathe fell fromhis seat as he is suffering in sheer pain.

Watts: (Suffering) What did... you... do to me?!

Gemdeus Machina: That's easy. I placed my disease called, 'Gemdeus Disease' upon you. This will show all of you, that whoever mocks her... will have the same FATE... as him....

Everyone are watching Watts about to disappear until...

Salem: That's enough. (Raising her hand up) No need for confrontation and plagues.

Gemdeus Machina: (growling while surpassing the disease inside Watts, curing him)

Salem: What's your name?

Gemdeus Machina: Johnny Maxima. But in this form, I am called, Gemdeus Machina. The final boss of RIDER CHRONICLE!!! (Voice boomed out until his echo is heard)

Salem: I see. I heard you helped our young Cinder escape from our other novice's attack. Is that right?

Gemdeus Machina: That's right.

Salem: Then i am ever grateful. Thank you.

Gemdeus Machina: As much as love business but... the boy is more of a problem to us than the girl.

Salem: Is that so? (Looks Curious)

Gemdeus Machina: Yes. Mister Shadow has all of the Winter Maiden's power and he is omnipotent like me. One is with you now who is in need oftreatment, so it is possible that you all obtain one more of the remaining powers as soon as possible... before he gets to them. However, Summer is yet to be seen by me alone.

Watts: Powers meaning...

Gemdeus Machina: Yes. What you were discussing about.

Watts: Captain ob....

Gemdeus Machina: Come again...

His voice boomed to Watts which made him quiver in fear.

Salem: That's enough. (Seeing Gemdeus Machina ceasing his Wrath) Tyrian?

Tyrian: Yes, my lady?

Salem: Spring can wait. Find the girl... and more importantly the boy, that did this to Cinder.

Tyrian giggles elatedly and claps excitedly.

Salem: And bring them to me. Ensure that you don't hurt the boy too much, as he interest me after what Gemdeus told me about him. I'm intrigued in his so called, "Omnipotent" Power he has.

Tyrian freezes, groans disappointedly, pouts for a second, then looks back up at Salem with an acquiescent shrug. 

Gemdeus Machina: I will let one of my bugsters aid you then, Tyrian.

Salem: There isn't a need for that, Gemdeus. I would like to have a chat with you for a bit later.

Gemdeus Machina: (feels disappointed but agrees) As you wish, your grace.

Salem: no need for formalities. Just call me Salem.

Gemdeus Machina: (nods)

Salem: Because of your efforts, Beacon has fallen. And Haven will be next.

Everyone rises. Just as Cinder was about to stand up as well, Tyrian snickers at her and points to his left eye.

Tyrian: Don't worry. I'll make sure she'll repay an eye for an eye. And whereas for he... well, I will make it personal.

Tyrian goes into an uncontrollable fit of manic laughter growing louder and louder by the second, while Cinder grits her teeth.

---TIMESKIP---

My POV:

It has been hours since we took down most of the Grimm. All except one. Jaune's Team and my team are currently on the lookout for the very last Grimm until....

Nora: I'm just sayin'...

Nora and Ren emerge from behind a tree, walking together, and appears they seem to be arguing about something. I found myself seating on a large rock as I contemplated, my head planted in my palm as my elbow rested on my leg, not really minding the debate Nora and Ren are having.

Nora: ...there's more members of JNPR in this team than RWBY. It just makes sense to go with that one.

Ren: But "Junior" isn't a color.

Nora: How can I be more clear? Shadow, conjure me up some JNRR letters, would you?

Me: (nods)

I waved my hand to Nora's hands and the letters "JNRR" form into existence made of ice, floating above Nora's hand. She then points to the first three letters.

Nora: Thank you! So, one, two, three. That's more than one.

Then points to the remaining letter "R".

Ren: But we're helping Ruby with her objective. Could you conjure me up some letters as well, Shadow?

I waved my hand again as Ren hold out his hand and the letters RNJR pop into existence as well, then proceeds to point at the first letter. 

Ren: Wouldn't that make her the leader?

Jaune: Guys!

I turn your attention towards Jaune, who is crouched behind a tree trunk and seems to be watching something.

Jaune: We need to focus.

Before Nora and Ren could even notice, I waved my hand at the letters they dissipate out of existence.

Jaune: Also, JNRR is way cooler.

Nora: Exactly!

Ren was about to speak, but instead just groans. Suddenly, there's a rumble. I conjured my sword, and readied Parablade as I stood up from the rock I was sitting on, preparing for the upcoming battle. 

Jaune: It's here.

Just as he said that, I see Ruby flying backward from the trees, firing her scythe in its sniper form in the direction she came from. And then, a collection of floating boulders with a Grimm mask moves the trees aside, clearly chasing her. She suddenly begins falling down, crashing against tree limbs along the way.

Ruby: Bad... landing... strategy!

Just before Ruby could crash on a big tree branch, I flew up in my snow form and caught her bridal style. Ruby flushed red instantly as she figured out you how I was carrying her, but I didn't seem to notice as I set her down on the large branch I was standing on. I glared at the Grimm as it slowly made it's way towards me.

Me: Let's go! (Grabs my scroll) Team!?

Rachel: (through via scroll) We are on our way!

With that Ruby used her Semblance to fly past the Grimm, firing round after round, and I followed her example by shooting large shards of ice at it. 

Jaune: Let's get that thing off of them

The other three spread out as Jaune starts running towards you and Ruby, while Ren jumps up into the trees.

Nora: Don't forget me!

Nora pulls out her hammer in its grenade launcher form and shoots it at the ground, propelling herself into the air with excited whooping. She then lands right beside Ren in his branch.

Ren: We need to draw its attention away from them!

As a stream of rose petals, Ruby flies past them, while I leaped into the air, summoned two more ice swords in my hand and did a falling spinning attack on the Grimm. But as my swords collided against the large Grimm, they shattered from the impact against the hard rock.

Me: Darn it! It's like playing scissors against rock!

Ruby: What do we then!? Cover it in paper!?

Me: Not helping, Ruby! 

The Grimm use its rock arm to smash me, but I narrowly evaded it, and continued floating around the Grimm trying to find some weakness to it.

Ruby: Could use some help!

Nora shoots the Grimm in the back. Ren hops around on branches, shooting bullets at it while doing so. The Grimm tries to hit Ren, but he just runs up its rock arm, propels himself up into the air, and comes down upon the Grimm, striking at it with his dual auto-pistols, but it just grazed it ineffectively.

Jaune: Gotta get in closer!

Ren then lands beside Jaune after his assault, while you floated down behind them.

Ren: My blades don't hurt him!

Rachel: Eat it!!!

Rachel arrives in a nick of time to slash its arm by using her spears with energy and fire dust in them, Mitchell is currently flying on top of me, spinning straight down at the Grimm to try and slice it with his wings and Tenka shoots tonnes of arrows out of his tri-sector weapon.

Me: EAT THIS!!!

I poured a slight amount of my Aura into my icy fists, making it glow as I deliver a strong downward blow to it, but instead met its two rock arms, creating a shockwave between me and the Grimm, which launched me back a couple of feet and landed back with the rest of the team. The Grimm reels back from the shockwave for a moment, before it turns, standing upright, seemingly taking no disorientation from the attack.

You: Seriously?! This Grimm is something......

Nora: Crap!

Ruby: How about this?!

She loads a magazine with an image of a lightning bolt on its side into her sniper scythe and fires. Electric bolts encase one of the Grimm's arms. The red lines on the arm glow brighter, and the Grimm slams it into the ground. We were all sent flying backward, but Ren, Nora, and Ruby manage to land on their feet, but Jaune tumbles along the ground painfully until he hits a boulder between his legs and falls forward. Me and my team, on the other hand, skidded a few meters behind. I heldon Parablade once again as I summoned an ice sword and drove them into the ground, slowing the momentum, and found ourselves beside Jaune, who speaks to me in a mimicking sort of tone.

Mitchell: You alright?!

Me: Yeah. You guys?

Tenka: Still good.

Rachel: I'm still in good shape!

Me: Awesome. Jaune! You alright?!

Jaune: "You'll be fine without a weapon....... You're the strategist."

Me: Sulk later, Jaune. Come on! (Helps him up) Guys, our "Strategist" is down. What should we do? 

Nora: That's it!

Without warning, she runs forward, tossing her grenade launcher into the air and transforming it into hammer mode. 

Me: Nora! What are you---

Tenka: Doc, wait! I feel she has the right idea.

Me: Really?

We then watched her jump into the air, the Grimm reels its arm back for a punch, Nora and hits it, breaking its arm apart. 

Me: Okay, that worked.

Tenka: See?

A large piece of its severed arm suddenly flies straight toward Nora, but I quickly rushed in with my snow form between them, reverting back to mg normal form, and grabbed Nora out of the way. But that rock was soon head towards Jaune, who has just recovered from his "injury". I sighed heavily as I used my snow form yet again and rushed towards Jaune out of the way.

Me: Man, dashing around place is tiring you know. You owe me.

Jaune: Yeah, well--- Look out!

Me: Huh?

Another rock, the size of my head, is coming at me, but Jaune pushes me out of the way, and hits him in the face instead and sends him tumbling into a tree.

Me: Jaune!

I left the others to deal with the Grimm for a while as I rushed to Jaune's aide. Jaune groaned on the ground as I neared him.

Me: You okay? Not dead yet, Jaune?

Jaune: Now we're even

Me: Seriously?

I just chuckled in amusement at Jaune's remark as I helped him stand up to his feet. Suddenly, I felt the ground tremble more and more. Me and Jaune leaned behind the tree and the both of us looked up to see the Grimm standing above us.

Jaune: Ah...

Me: We're in big trouble.

The Grimm's armless shoulder gains a glowing red circle with a symbol of an eye in the middle. The circle spins, and then a black, elongated arm with clawed fingers emerges from it. The arm rears back.

Jaune: Uh-oh.

The Grimm shoves its new arm into the tree we were leaning against and lifts it from the ground, flinging it around. I reacted out of instinct as I backflipped away, watching Jaune run away from the Grimm, as he flails him arms around.

Jaune: His arm is a tree! His arm is a tree!

Ruby: Big mistake!

Ruby spins her sniper scythe and loads another magazine into it. I saw the imagery of fire on its side and immediately knew what she was going to do.

Me: Ruby! DANGER!! No! Don't DO IT! 

But it was already too late as she fires, and the flaming projectile swings around to the tree arm. Jaune smiles and fist pumps, while I was facepalming beside Ruby, who was blinking her eyes in disbelief as she saw the tree arm swings around to Jaune, on fire. Jaune loses his smile and starts running.

Me: Can this fight get anymore worse

Tenka: Oh boy...

Rachel: Well, Cheese!!

Mitchell: ...

Jaune: Big mistake!

I watched as the Grimm chases Jaune, swinging the flaming arm at him. It misses twice, but then Jaune falls. One of Ren's weapons spins through the air and makes a cut across the Grimm's mask, prompting to loss its balance somehow and Grimm falls. Ren lands beside Jaune and catches his gun. The rest of us including my team come up behind them.

Jaune: Okay, how do we do this?

Ren: His body is too thick to break through.

Jaune: It doesn't care about its body.

Nora: Plus it can keep grabbing new limbs!

Jaune: But it keeps protecting its face.

Ruby: We can't break it!

Jaune: Ugh, if we knocked all of its limbs off at once and went for the...

Mitchell: Got something, Jaune?

Jaune's eyes light up with an idea and turns to face me and the others. 

Jaune: Guys, I got it! We hit it harder!

We were all silent for a moment, confused, while the Grimm is recovering from the hit, slowly rising up from the ground.

Ren: Is.... that it?

Me: Hate to break it to you, but that's what we've been doing the whole time!

Rachel: Yeah. We have been doing that for like... forever...

Jaune: No, seriously. It's trying to keep us from its face. If we kill the limbs, we'll have a shot to kill the whole thing!

Tenka: I like your thinking, Master Arc.

Ruby: Alright! Come on, team, let's do this.

Nora: Yeah!

Ren: Right!

Me: Worth the shot.

Jaune: Ren, left. Ruby, right.

Ren and Ruby depart as told.

Jaune: Nora, ready to try out the new upgrade?

Nora nods and runs.

Jaune: Shadow, try to slow it down with your ice as much as you can together with your team.

Me: One, big, giant, ice statue coming up! TEAM, Let's form up!!!

T/R/M: Right!!

I readied my Game-Driver and rummaged my case with Gashats behind me and took out Maximum Mighty X and Hyper Muteki Gashats. Just as i was about to activate them, Rachel asks a question.

Rachel: Ummm, Doc?

Me: Yeah?

Rachel: What's that you dropped?

Me: What's what? (Looks down)

As I looked down, I saw another Gashat on the ground, realizing that it came out from my case, I picked it up.

Me: Huh? (Looks at Gashat) Grimm... Eclipse... Chronicle...? Oh well, let's see if this works.

Rachel: Ok.

Tenka: Make it fast as i dont think they can hold out much longer.

Me: Right!! (Activates Gashat)

I placed both Gashats back and fished out Mighty Action X gashat as I activated both Gashats.

-MIGHTY ACTION X-

-GRIMM ECLIPSE CHRONICLE-

Me: (posses) Level Shift!! ACTION GRIMM GAMER!! DAI-DAI-DAI-HENSHIN!!!! (slots Gashats into the Game-Driver and flips the lever)

-G-GASHATTO-

-GACHAN! LEVEL UP!!!

-MIGHTY JUMP! MIGHTY KICK! MIGHTY MIGHTY ACTION X!! AGATCHA! DANGER! DANGER! THREAT LEVEL 10!! (Grimm noises) IT'S AN INVASION! GRIMM ECLIPSE CHRONICLE!!! (Grimm and Grimm Dragon roar)-

(A/N: It's like Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Level 5 but the Level 5 armour but different as the Dragon armour is of a custom built-in from Grimm Dragon. Wingspan is bigger, claws insteadof sword and gun and Dragon feet are added to it too. So, there you go... Ex-Aid Grimm Chronicle Gamer Level X. MUAHAHAHAHAHA)

Me: (looks at my new form) Wow. Not bad. Works out well with my new look and my powers too.

Rachel: Okay! Let's do this!

As we were all ordered, I placed Parablade at my back as I stepped forward and poured as much of your Semblance on the Grimm slowly freezing it as Ruby attacks the right side, and Ren attacks the left and my team is keeping the Grimm busy. I am constantly straining by the second, as I felt my Aura slowly draining. I was nearly at my limit when I suddenly heard my mother's voice whisper softly in my ear.

Isolde's Voice: Don't give up now.

Soon after, I felt a sudden chill from my coat and and it slightly energized me, giving me a small adrenaline rush. Just then....

Jaune: Use everything you've got!

I grinned as I poured even more of my power into the Grimm, nearly completely freezing it while Grimm-like bones started to appear out of the ice to make the Grimm immobile with the ice.

Me: Not bad. Now to end this...

-GASHATTO! KIMEWAZA!!-

-GRIMM CRITICAL STRIKE!!-

The red details on my armor of my level X form started to glow red. Ruby uses her Semblance to fly at the Grimm, taking Nora with her. Seeing this opportunity, I joined the two in their swirls and go right for the tree arm. Ruby slices the tree in half, while I smashed the frozen rock arm with an ice hammer that I just formed up just in time and kicks the remains of its arm away with my finishing kick, opening the way for Nora to hit the mask with her hammer. The frozen rock body shatters and an ephemeral Grimm rises out of it and and tries to flee off.

Me: Care to do the honors, Ruby?

Ruby nods and aims a shot at it, and it turns its face right into the flaming projectile, shattering the mask. I watched as the Grimm dissolved in the air. 

Rachel: Like the new ability

Tenka: (nods)

Me: Well, it's something new so... (Looksup in the sky) Thank you... Dan Kuroto Deus for giving me this Gashat whichI don't know how you fit that in my bag.... you sneaky lil' bastard.

Jaune:  Another victory for Team JNRR!

Me: ...... Oh please.

Jaune: Yeah, okay. Ren, I think you're onto something. I-it's just not sounding great anymore.

Jaune walks away, followed by Ren, Nora, Ruby and my Team as I smiled up in the sky once again, hoping my mother is watching back in her realm. Winds rustled in my hair as I heard my mother's whisper on your ear again for the last time.

Isolde: I'm proud of you. I'll be watching, my son.

Me: I will make you proud... mother....

---TIMESKIP---

3rd Person's POV:

Ruby shakes hands with the town Mayor as we all brought the good news to the Mayor of the Village.

Mayor: We truly can't thank you enough.

Ruby: Just doing our job, sir.

Shadow: Having more defense could keep those fears in check, Mr. Mayor.

Mayor: Of course, I'll try to see to it. That Geist had been plaguing our village for weeks. We were beginning to wonder if we'd have to relocate.

Ruby: Well, we are on our way to Mistral. You could always come along with us if you don't feel safe.

Scenes of the idyllic life in the village are shown; people buy fresh produce from a cart, stand and chat on open balconies overlooking the roads, tend to their horses and generally go about their daily lives peacefully. The village has plentiful trees and green spaces and cobbled roads.

Mayor: Heh. I take it you're not from these parts. Anima is a large continent. I'm afraid our people would never survive the long trek to Mistral. It may be safer in the Kingdoms, but we prefer our way of life. I just wish we could pay you more.

Ren: Our previous arrangement is more than sufficient.

Shadow, his team and the rest of Jaune's team bow respectfully to the mayor, before heading towards to the blacksmith of the village to retrieve some of the gear. As we closed the shop door, the blacksmith took out a chestplate Jaune had ordered from him.

Blacksmith: There you go, son. It's going to be heavier than what you're used to, but you'll thank me the next time you go up against a set of claws.

Jaune: Wow. That-eh. I don't know what to say.

Blacksmith: Don't gotta say anything! Just put it on! I'll go get the rest.

The Faunus blacksmith turns and goes out the back, as Jaune stares at the piece of armor for a while.

Nora: So, what are you waiting for?

Jaune: Oh, uh, right!

Jaune starts to takes off his old chestplate as places it beside the new one.

Jaune: Guess I was going to grow out of it eventually.

Ren: A sign of progress.

Jaune: Progress.

Jaune turns around, and for some reason Ruby gasps, then covers her mouth and tries not to giggle, Rachel did the same too.

Jaune: What is it?

Ruby: What is that?

Ruby points at the bunny emblem that is on Jaune's chest, starting to laugh even more.

Jaune: What, my hoodie? I've always had this.

Ruby and Rachel: It's got a cute little bunny rabbit!

Ruby and Rachel began to laugh hysterically, while Shadow tried to hold his laughter in by biting his lip. 

Jaune: It's Pumpkin Pete! You know, from the cereal?

Ruby: What did you do?! Send in a box top for a prize?

Jaune: Yeah! Fifty!

That became my keyword as I soon found myself laughing with Ruby together with Rachel, who continues to laugh hysterically, before they fall onto the floor.

Ren: Well, I suppose we don't have to grow out of everything.

Tenka: Point made, Master Ren

Ruby chortles from the floor, dangling her feet in the air. The blacksmith then returns from out back.

Blacksmith: Can't have a Huntsman without his weapon.

I helped Ruby and Rachel on their feet and turned towards the blacksmith as a white sword sheath is stuck into the countertop.

Blacksmith: Made all the modifications you asked for.

The blade then expands into a shield.

Blacksmith: That was some fine metal you brought me. Accents the white nicely. Where'd you get it from?

I eyed the gold accents on the shield, and saw the design on the bottom reminiscent of Pyrrha's circlet, turning the atmosphere a bit somber.

Jaune: From a friend.

Me: (nods) Oh yes, (looks at the Blacksmith) Is it ready yet, good sir?

Blacksmith: Oh yes. You said when it is done, I had to call you in right? Well, come on in.

I then followed the Blacksmith to the back of his shop. Once we entered to where the magic happens, I saw half-made weapon covered by a leather cloth, as the Blacksmith stated;

Blacksmith: Those materials you brought me were pretty rare in the whole Remnant. I mean,

The blacksmith started to unravel the leather cloth and we all looked to see my my new weapon which is half-done, according to plan. My fingers may still be exposed but my wrist and my arm will be somewhat covered, to my requirements.

When I exited out from the Blacksmith's shop to see my team except Tenka, Ren, Nora and Ruby, Rachel was the first one to see the gauntlet as she looks at it in awe.

Rachel: Doc, like the gold gaunlet. It looks like the Arm of Hyper Muteki.

Me: Heheh. Thanks.

Blacksmith: Your weapon has Atlas' rarest and strongest type of titanium metal, Mistral's most isolated Cerulean iron, and Vacuo's rarest type of alloy and their gold. And each of those materials cost a limb, especially those gold that you brought in. And I'd gladly trade my limbs for those. Where'd you get them from?

I eyed on the Gauntlet as each of the materials melted to form this weapon were a reminiscent of my old friends who fought me in the tournament that gave them to me. I just stayed silent to the Blacksmith's questions, and i knew that it was my mother who gave them to ms, and I had to keep this still a secret. 

Rachel, Mitchell, Ruby, Ren, Nora and I are still outside the shop waited for me and Jaune to try on their new gear. Jaune comes out wearing the armor, pulls out the sword and expands the shield. I saw Jaune smirking at me for some reason and noticed he was showing off his gear in which I am amazed to see how skilled his now with his weapon and shield, until...

Me: Uh, guys, anyone seen Tenka?

Rachel: I don't know. He didn't leave the place so...

Mitchell: Probably looming for opportunities for a new weapon?

Just then, the door was pushed open to show Tenka in his armor. When we saw his armor, my eyes widened to see that his armor had been upgraded. From head to toe, i observe his armor and noticed that his leggings have some sort of mechanism. Tenka winked at me and Jaune, we both rolled our eyes again, feeling overly outclassed due to his cool looking armor.

(A/N: Think of it as a fusion armor verion of Lionheart, Genji and Giri Giri Chambara but not too bulky and thin to Tenka's comfort, and the colour scheme is different from Giri Giri Chambara as it is Giri Giri Chambara level X.)

Me: (inner thoughts) Seriously dude?

Blacksmith: They clean up alright, don't you think?

Ren: They certainly do.

Nora: I still think a grenade launcher would've really brought the look together.

Ruby: Nothing's gonna stop Team RNJR now!

Nora: Team JNRR!

Ren: Still not a color.

Ruby: What do you think, Shadow?

Me: Please, leave me out of this, Ruby. I'm just the support here with my team, remember?

Jaune: It doesn't matter what we're called. As long as we're together.

Me: Exactly, Jaune. Took the words right out of my mouth.

Blacksmith: You kids sure you won't stick around? You've been real good to this town.

Ruby: Sorry, but we've got another mission.

Nora: Make it to Haven Academy, no matter what.

Ren: We've heard the next village over has a working Airship.

Mitchell: So, we thought we should go there and grab one and have a ticket to Haven!

Me: It's nice to at least lay down on an Airship for a while. I can feel the blisters forming already.

Rachel: Yeah.... Same here....

Blacksmith: Mmm, no way to know for sure. Scroll signals were weak enough out here back when Beacon Tower was still up. Haven't heard from Shion Village in a while.

Ruby: Well, there's only one way to find out.

With a wave, my team and the other team turn and leave. The blacksmith waves back and grunts as in satisfaction as he moves back inside his shop.

Jaune: Food?

Nora: Check!

Jaune: Water?

Nora: Check!

Jaune: How about ammo?

Nora: Locked and loaded! Thank you, Schnee Dust Company!

As they continued to make sure that we got everything we need for the journey, I saw Ruby looking a bit sad from the corner of my eye. I gently put my hand on her shoulder as we walked. She looks at me, startled. But I just smiled at her, it took her a while before she did the same, and started to lean on my shoulder. I instinctively wrapped an arm around her as she did this. We were both smiling as we walked until......

Jaune: Got the map?

Nora: Uh.... Ren's got it.

Ren: No, I don't. You have it.

Nora: Wait..... what? Then Shadow must have had it.

Me: I'm only carrying a spare set of clothing and some materials, Nora. 

Jaune: Guys, please tell me you're joking.

Nora: Uh.. heh-heh-heh.

Jaune: Guys! Guys? Guys...

Nora: Nope.

Me: Can't you guys do something right for one day?!

Tenka: Cheer up, Doc.

Rachel: At least we all are together again with them, right?

Me: Yeah. Together again.....

I kept walking on with Ruby and my Team as I thought about the powers I have, which I must be on guard about it.
