Celesti's POV

I woke up to the sound of light snoring, and I momentarily got spooked at what, or who it was. I grabbed my wand from its holder on my nightstand, and crept out to see what it was. I saw Rogue, passed out, and who I might say is the source of the snoring. Mentally sighing out of relief, I went back into my room to get ready for the day.

I put up my hair in a ponytail, just like Karina showed me, and put on an outfit similar to what I received yesterday. I quietly tiptoed around my apartment to get out to grab food of some sort, determined to not be a bad...host? Guildmate? It's too early for me to think these thoughts.

I had managed to creep out the door successfully, and was about to close it when Sting opened his apartment door and yelled out, "Good Morning To You, Good Morning To You! Our Day is Beginning, so Good Morning to You!"

"Shhhhh!!! Rogue is still sleep..." I was caught in my thoughts when I saw Rogue's red eyes behind my almost closed door, "Ing. You know what, I just realized that I have got some...erm..errands to run around, so I'll be back in a jiffy! Bye!"

I let go of my hold on the handle and started to run away from the two Dragon Slayers, fearful of what was to come. Sting yelled out, "Wait, you're just going to leave me here to deal with him?"

"You woke him up, now you have to pay the price. I'll be back soon!" I couldn't help but laugh as I ran down the stairs, feeling quite high and mighty of myself for getting out of that situation. I walked out of the doors of the complex and took a deep breath of air in, trying to pick up the scents of food. Thank goodness I was able to pick it up quite quickly, so I jogged in that direction!

The morning sun warmed my skin, and I couldn't help but feel like today was going to be great! I found the source of the smell, a bakery near a store, and started to walk towards it. I was just about to step into the bakery when someone grabbed my right hand and said, "And where do you think you're going?"

I turned and saw Sting, the git that had to ruin my plan! I smiled at him and used my left hand to point, "To the bakery. I was going to get food for everyone."

"So was this the errand you had to run?"

"Yes, and I'm almost there. So would you mind, you know, letting me get back to said errand?"

"Actually, I have a better plan. We'll go eat at the guild hall. Rogue should almost be ready now, and from there, we'll see what happens. But first, we have to head back to the apartments to make sure that Sleepy Head is-"

"I'm right here, Sting." I looked behind Sting and saw Rogue, a frown on his face. I gulped, fearing at what was to come. Sting quickly let go of my hand, and I shook it out, releasing all of the tension in it.

Sting turned to face his fellow Dragon Slayer and waved sheepishly, "Morning, Rogue! So off to the guild then we go!"

"Yes, and I suggest you get there soon, or you might regret it." Rogue was furious at Sting, so Sting took off, running! I was about to do the same when I felt someone else grab my right hand, so I turned and saw Rogue looking at me, amusement in his eyes. The anger from a few moments ago had vanished.

"Erm...can I help you with something? I'm sorry about earlier too! I did not expect that!"

Rogue smiled at me and nodded, "You have nothing to apologize for. If anything, I should be apologizing to you about last night and this morning."

"Don't sweat it! Life happens, okay?" I smiled back at him, "I think we should get to the guild though, except, where are the two Exceeds at?"

"They'll meet us at the guild. They should actually be chasing Sting now because he woke them up too."

"I feel like I've asked this multiple times, but is this...normal?"

"Sadly. You'll get used to it. Watch, by the time we're at the guildhall, he'll be completely different."

I let go of Rogue's hand as I started to walk to the guild hall, seeing it on a hill, "You're right. He was super serious there. Is that...normal for a guild to be serious?"

"For Sabertooth, yes, for others, who knows?" I heard Rogue soften his voice, so I turned to face him as he spoke, "Master Jiemma isn't a fan of fun. He's super strict and will do anything to keep Sabertooth at the top of the guilds."

"That makes sense. Maybe, that will change in the near future. It also explains Sting's behavior a lot. Also, don't be afraid to be yourselves around me. I'm not going to tattle to the Master about you guys having fun every once in a while."

Rogue smiled as he grabbed my hand once more, "Thanks, Celesti. Shall we?"

"Let's blitz!" So we walked to the guild together, hand in hand, not really caring who saw us. I wanted to ask why Rogue did this, but I never had the courage to.

We made it to the guildhall a few minutes later, and before we entered, Rogue let go of my hand. I looked at him and saw his face had a slight tinge of red on it. I couldn't help but ask, "Are you okay? Did I manage to embarrass you somehow?"

"Not at all, Celesti. Actually, I feel happy right now, but do you mind if I ask you something?"

"That's good, then! And ask away, I'm an open book!"

"Would you...consider going out with me?"

I knew it! I nodded quickly at him, a blush rising on my face, "Of course!"

"Seriously?"

"Yes. I'm not one to mess around with feelings, Rogue. I get how that pain feels, so I wouldn't wish that onto anyone!"

He hugged me and I couldn't help but hug back, my heart beating quickly as he whispered, "Thank you."

"For what?"

"Being my light." He let go and I saw his eyes glistening with happiness.

I nodded at him and smiled, "No problem! I'm going to head inside though to eat! I could really use some sugar to wake me up!"

"I'll be following you." I walked into the Sabertooth guild hall, smiling to myself. I've only been here a few days, and here I am, with someone!!! I wanted to dance and scream out of joy, but the serious mood of the guild hall started to sap away my energy.

Sting waved at myself and Rogue, his mouth full of food, "Bout time you made it!"

I sat down at the table that Sting was at, and Rogue sat next to me. Sting looked at us and smirked, somehow, the git knew. Feigning innocence, I smiled at Sting, "I see you started to eat. Where do I go to get food?"

"The bar. Yukino will help you."

I got up and headed to the bar, smiling and humming to myself. As I did, a man wearing Renaissance clothing came up to me and smiled. He is a member of the guild, but his name escapes me. He spoke calmly to me, "You're Celesti Gryffindor, an Auror and an avid combat specialist."

I nodded eagerly, "Yup! And you are...?"

"Rufus Lore. Master Jiemma wants you to accompany me on a mission."

"Alright! Where to, exactly?"

He handed me a flyer and I read it as he spoke, "A mountain village a few hours train ride away from here. They're being tormented by trolls."

"And why does Master Jiemma want me to join you on this mission?"

"To further prove why you're worthy of being in Sabertooth."

That same old bloody argument again? Good grief! I covered up my anger and smiled at him, "Sounds good to me! When do we leave?"

"In an hour or so. We'll be gone for a few days, alright?"

"I need to go pack then!" I handed the flyer back to Rufus and ran to where Sting and Rogue were sitting, the smells of their breakfast making my stomach growl. I mooched a biscuit from Rogue's plate and smiled at the two of them, "I've got a mission! Though, I'll be gone for a few days. Please watch over my place and for goodness' sake, don't do anything rash!" I looked at Sting, anger coming into my eyes, "Don't even think about crossing me, got it?"

Sting quickly gulped and nodded, and I smiled, knowing that my point was made. I turned to Rogue and smiled sadly at him, mouthing out, 'Sorry. Master Jiemma wants me to go on it.'

He nodded and quickly brushed his hand against my own. I smiled at him and got up once more, saying out loud, "See you all in a few! I'll be right back!"

As I bolted out of the guild hall, my mind couldn't help but think that this was another sinister plan of Master Jiemma's. However, I was more than determined to prove him wrong. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't even realize that my feet weren't on the ground anymore! I turned and saw Frosch holding me, a smile on its face as it spoke, "Rogue said to help you get to your home quicker so then you have time to eat!"

"Thanks, Frosch! Do you know the way back?"

"Yup! Sure do!" Frosch then wrapped its arms around me the best it could, and started to fly back towards the apartment complex. I had to guide the Exceed a bit, but it was awesome to see what the city looked like from below! I wondered how I could get a so called Exceed, this method of travel was awesome!

We landed in front of the apartment complex and ran inside, up the stairs, into my apartment. I opened the door and ran instantly into my room, pointing my wand in the air and shouting, "Accio Travel Bag!"

Out of midair, a duffel bag that matched my outfit materialized. As soon as it landed on the bed, I opened my closet and started to throw similar outfits in and whatever else I would deem worthy of going to a mountain village. I shut the duffel as soon as I was done packing it, and ran out to my bookshelf, except, I needed a bag. Frosch was watching me in awe as I shouted, "Accio Bookbag!"

As if my magic knew I wanted to match, a small bookbag, tinged with just a slight hint of red and gold, appeared. Frosch gasped out loud, "Lesti! How did you do that?"

"Magic, alright? I'll show you a spell or two. See, I want to bring a couple of my old school textbooks with me to research these monsters, along with a journal and quill. Probably some ink as well." I started to pull off the following titles: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Monster Book of Monsters, Unfogging the Future, and One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi. Once they were off of the shelf, I started to tap my wand, saying "Reducio" as I approached each object.

I smiled at Frosch as I asked, "Did you like that? I'll make these items bigger when I need them by using a counter spell, Engorgio."

"Lesti, you're awesome!" I nodded at Frosch as I wrapped up with the quill, journal, and ink bottle. I then was about to walk out of the apartment, but I almost forgot something, my bow and arrows.

Frosch looked at me and sighed, "I don't know if I can carry all of that."

"Don't worry! I'll use the same tactic as before, alright? I don't want to make you too exhausted!" I tapped the bow and quiver with my wand in a similar fashion to before, and tapped the duffel bag too. I stuffed those items into my backpack and smiled at Frosch, "I'm ready to head back, alright? How much time do we have left?"

"A half hour! It will take us five minutes to get back to the guild hall!"

I threw the backpack on my shoulder and started to run out of my apartment, Frosch flying right behind me. We ran out of the apartment complex together, and I would have kept running if Frosch didn't pick me up. I smiled at the Exceed as I pointed to the guild hall, "Thanks Frosch! I owe you big time!"

"Can you please get me some ice cream when we get back? That's all I ask!"

"Not a problem, alright?" We made it to Sabertooth a few short minutes later, and Frosch and I landed outside of the doors. Frosch was about to land on the ground when I took it in my arms.

Frosch looked up at me with its big eyes and smiled, "Is it my turn to be carried?"

"Yup! I just have a question for you: what is your favorite flavor of ice cream?"

"Any flavor is yummy to me!"

"Sounds good. Looks like we're both having a sugary breakfast today!" I ran inside and headed straight for the bar, where Yukino was ordering. I smiled at her and said, "Two hot fudge sundaes, please!"

She looked at me in shock at what I had ordered and quietly said, "You sure?"

"Yup! Actually, I can go make them if you want me to-"

"Two Hot Fudge Sundaes!" A fellow guild member came out and set them right in front of myself and Frosch. He was taller than me, but had a sunny disposition that was noted by me. He smiled as he walked away, "If they're good, my name is Sora! If not, my name is Sting!"

I couldn't help but giggle as I picked up the two sundaes and Frosch and walked back to where Sting and Rogue were sitting. I sat next to Rogue and smiled as I placed the two sundaes on the table, with Frosch right next to one of them. Rogue looked at his Exceed, who already started to eat the sundae in shock, "Why did you get Frosch that?"

"I owe you and Frosch big time, so Frosch asked if I could get it ice cream. Considering I hadn't had breakfast either, I decided to join in on eating ice cream. Also, thank you for sending Frosch to help. I'm...grateful for that."

"Don't worry about it. I'm glad that Frosch could help. Do you mind actually if I walked with you and Rufus to the train station?"

"The more, the merrier! But I really want to eat this quickly, so we can head out." I took a bite of it and smiled to myself, "Ah, nothing like the taste of sugary goodness in the morning!"

Sting looked at me, confusion on his face, "Aren't you going to be hungry in a bit because of that?"

"Maybe, but that's why there's food on the train! I'll have something less sugary there, I promise!" I quickly ate my sundae and smiled, "I'm ready to go! I just need to find Rufus."

Sting's jaw dropped, "You're going on a mission with him?"

"Master Jiemma said so. I hope you two behave while I'm gone."

"Alright, Celesti, but be warned: he's very..."

"Very what, Sting?" I turned around and saw the man I had just met a few minutes ago behind me. He was smiling, knowing that he had caught his fellow guild mate in a trap.

I smiled as I slowly got up, "Perfect timing! I just finished eating, so I'm good to go!"

Rufus nodded, "Alright then, m'lady. We'll head out. Do you have everything you need?"

"Believe so, and if I don't, I've got my magic wand for a reason! Also, just call me Celesti or something like that. M'lady makes me feel old."

"Alright, I will commit that to memory." Rufus then turned to the dragon slayers and nodded, "Will you two be coming as well?"

Rogue stood up quickly and was standing behind me, "I will be, at least."

Frosch jumped up, "I will too, so as long as Lesti holds me!"

Rufus nodded, "What about you, Sting?"

Sting's eyes went over to Yukino, and I instantly knew what his answer would be, "I'll stay here and find a mission."

"Righto! I'll see you again soon! Don't cause trouble, and tell Yukino I say goodbye as well!" I started to walk out of the guild hall, feeling nervous that I wouldn't have the two members that I trusted defending me. Yet, I kept smiling because I didn't want Rogue to worry, and to show Master Jiemma the true meaning of Gryffindor.

As soon as I walked out of the guild hall, Rufus started to laugh. I turned and faced him, frowning, "Did I miss a spot of fudge on my face?"

"Your comment about telling Sting to say goodbye to Yukino for you. You know about his crush."

"You're correct about that. I plan on mocking him about it."

"You're even smarter than what you let on to be. I thought you were just a brawler with some magic usage."

"Heavens no! I actually brought along a few of my school textbooks for research about these trolls. Also, when I first got sorted...eight years ago, wow, it's been that long, the Sorting Hat almost put me in Ravenclaw!" I smiled at that memory, but came back to reality when I saw Rufus and Rogue looking at me. I sighed to myself, "I forgot that I'm no longer in my world, where I came from. I'm sorry!"

Rogue came up and grabbed my right hand to hold it, "Don't worry about it. I'm quite interested in your world and where you came from."

"How so?"

Rogue's fingers intertwined with mine as he smiled at me, "Wherever you came from made you who you are today. Don't forget that just because you're in a new world."

"That's...actually intelligent!"

Rufus nodded too, "I see one of the Twin Dragon Slayers has a brain."

Frosch piped in, "Rogue's the smart one, Sting is the brave one!"

The four of us laughed as we walked to the train station. Truthfully, I didn't want to leave at all, but a mission is a mission. I couldn't afford to tick Master Jiemma off when I already did that. We made it to the train station, looking for the train heading towards Margaret Town. It had just pulled into the station, and it reminded me of the Hogwarts Express. This brings back fond memories of mine.

Rufus stepped onto the train first and tipped his hat to me, "I'll be on here, Celesti. Please be on here before it leaves."

"Roger!" I saw his hat disappear and I knew that was my moment to turn to Rogue. When I did, I saw him untying his cape, and I quickly blurted out, "What in the world are you doing?"

He then came around behind me and wrapped his cape around my shoulders. Frosch looked up at myself and Rogue and smiled, "Wow, Rogue, this is nice of you!"

Rogue nodded at his Exceed, "I just want to make sure that Celesti stays warm." I turned to face him, a blush on my face, and that blush grew when he hugged me close. I hugged him back, and we stood like that for a long time. Why do goodbyes have to be worse when you're around someone you admire and cherish?

He bent down close to my ear and whispered, "Be safe, okay? Come back in one piece. I'll miss you."

I felt tears sliding down my face as I whispered out, "I'll miss you as well, alright? Please be careful while I'm gone."

"Always." I looked up at Rogue and I saw that his eyes too glistened with tears, which only made my heart ache more about this mission. He darted his eyes around to see if anyone was watching, then kissed me quickly on the lips. My eyes opened in shock at this, not expecting this move. Taking Frosch out of my arms, he let go of me and smiled, "Go before you miss your train."

I started to walk away smiling and before I stepped on, I waved back to Frosch and Rogue. They both waved back. I stepped into the first train car and saw Rufus staring at me, a big smirk on his face. I sat down across from him and looked at him, confusion on my face, "What's got you grinning like that?"

"I'll commit the first time I saw Rogue kiss a girl to my memory." The train whistle blew, and it started moving. I looked out the window and waved goodbye once more to Rogue and Frosch, my face growing more red by the minute.

Finally getting the nerve to face my partner for this mission, I quietly said, "How much of that did you see?"

"Enough to know that you two are perfect for each other."

This was going to be a long ass trip if Rufus was going to tease me like this. I was also afraid of what Master Jiemma would say too when I came back.
