Sabine laid on her bunk. She couldn't do anything. She was too worried about Ezra. About Thrawn. About everything.

Ezra had only been gone for five years, and yet everything had changed.

Sabine had repurposed one of the Rebel's ships - in fact, she had a strong feeling that it was one of the same ships that she and the rest of the Ghost crew had saved - to serve as their mode of transport. They had renamed it the Bridger, in honor of their mission. To bring Ezra home.

So far, they'd had no luck. They'd asked around in every Outer Rim world and some not even on the map - Ezra was nowhere to be seen. No one had heard from him. No one had reported a creepy blue Chiss with glowing red eyes holding her best friend hostage.

Sabine wasn't even sure if Ezra was her friend anymore. She kept worrying that all of these events had changed him too much to be the same sweet, clumsy, awkward Ezra who had quickly grown into a strong young man - too fast for Sabine's liking.

Sabine sighed and fiddled with one of her spray paint guns. The creative mood was just not striking her. Ahsoka was in the cockpit, on an important holocall with another 'informant' who would probably tell them nothing.

Sabine could hear Ahsoka's muffled voice. Then, when she heard the call end, she figured it was okay to get up and get a drink.

Sabine strolled to the cockpit, stretching. "Hey, I'm going to grab a drink. Want something?"

"Sabine..." Ahsoka started, but Sabine decided to ignore her. She was probably just going to break another set of bad news to her - that there was no one who had heard from Ezra.

"I think I'll have some blue bantha milk. I know we were saving it for special occasions, but it's going to go bad soon."

"Sabine." Ahsoka's tone was gentle, but forced, as if she had something important to say. Sabine was halfway down the ship's corridor before she allowed herself to reply. "Yeah, Ahsoka?"

"The informant - we have a lead." Sabine felt her eyes go wide and her heart swell. She rushed back to the cockpit and looked at Ahsoka with desperation in her eyes. "Please...don't give me false hope," she begged. "Is this for real?" Ahsoka nodded.

"I'll prime the engines. Debrief me on the way," Sabine instructed. "Where to?" Ahsoka grinned.

"A small jungle planet called...Dagobah."

Aaaaaaand...that's my first cliffhanger y'all! I apologize!
