SABIRAH'S POV.

Today mark exactly three days, Maa and Sadiya left me behind all alone. I keep praying everyday for them to come back again, but they never show up. This three days were surely unforgettable memory of my life, have been sick, ever since then, I couldn't eat without throwing up, but the best part of it all is that Baba never leave my sight or even yell at me for once, not even after throwing up on him. He is the best father I could ever wish for, because he kept his promise just as stated.

Am happy, yet sad. Before, I have a loving and caring mother seeking for a fatherly love which i have now, but doesn't have mother's own again. Such is life! I shrug and fold the praying mat then clear the tears welling up in my eyes.
   
"Good morning Baba,"I wrap my small hand on him immediately he walk in.

"Morning my princess! how was you night?" He asked seating us both down.

"Fine baba" I responded.

"And how is your fever now? hope you won't throw up on me again" He chuckled as his last sentence and massage my forehead, which made me smile and nod.

"I won't, in Sha Allah."

"I miss maa and sadiya" I blurted out of blue.

"You see, your mother left you, but I'm here with you, I will never leave you. Be brave and strong for your Baba okay! and beside I have a good news for you" He said making me to wonder curiously as he wrap his hand securely on me.

"Am going to take you to your new home today, where you will live happily ever after. Let me quickly go and get your food, and make sure you've shower before I return okay," He said and peck my cheeks before walking out of the room.

SALISU POV

Immediately I left her sight, I laugh at her childishness, Sabirah is just too innocent to know that I have only been playing prank on her for the past three days, but she never knew. I was lucky she was the one who fall unconscious that very day which was easy for me to manipulate, and not that strong head stubborn girl Sadiya, her twin sister. I won't have been able to manipulate her easily. Poor Sabirah, she never knew am giving her out just like her sister some years back. The thought of accomplishing my goal make me even laugh heartily.

Now I have to find a way to calm my angry wife for not coming back home for the past three days, though if she finds out what I did all this while she will be more pleased with me. She's the love of my life, and my life will surely be incomplete without her by my side. I can even kill a human just to make her happy, that exactly how much I love my wife.

With a deep sigh, I creek the metal door open and find my way into the house

"Assalamu'alaik...."I was still saying when she abruptly cut me up in the mid way.

"Hold your greeting to yourself, and don't even come anyway near me in this house. You this shameless cheater,"She pointed an accusing finger at me and continue lashing out making me to stay rooted on my feet like an obedient child.

"You thought I will not find out how you're busy there enjoying the accompany of your so called wife? If you know you love her that much, that you couldn't resist her for a day, why the hell did you marry me? Ehhnn answer me this minute" She flare up angrily, exactly what I was scared of.

After she was done throwing tantrum, I gather the little courage I could and mutter" lower your voice and calm down please, neighbors could hear your voice." I said hoping she get it

"Oh so now you're scared that people will find out that you're a real cheater and a betrayer right" she asked folding her hand akimbo.

"No that not the case, calm down murjanatu, I have a good news for you, and I'm sure you will be more than happy after hearing it and even dance out of joy."

"What is it?" She asked rudely, her voice fill will anger. But I don't care because after hearing the good news I have for her, she will be back to her usual cheerful Lady, I have as a wife.
  
"What are you thinking of? Is it how to cook up some stories? then mind you, I won't buy any of it" she said and I let out an evil laugh

"Murjanatu" I called making her more curious as she keep fuming.

"I was able to bring, one of that witch's daughter for our mission." I explore

"I don't believed you" She said.

"I'm serious murjanatu, believe me, I got one of saudeh's daughter," I said and she let out an evil laughter, which calm my nerve and make me smile seeing her happy. And then her laughter subsidies down

"But wait, where is saudeh? and how were you able manage to take one of her daughter away from her? and which of the girls? I hope is not that Sadiya, because she will only called for more trouble and make us unsuccessful.?

"How many question at once huh? Well is a long story, but to cut everything short I got Sabirah not sadiya.

"When I got to their house, they already got the news that the city men are back again. So they were planning to escape, I beat their mother after talking back at me. unfortunately that stupid girl hit me with a metal pot and they all ran away. Luckily On their way leaving the village Sabirah fall unconscious and they were not able to take her. Saudeh wasn't even strong enough to carry her and before they could think of any plans, have already approached them, so they left her there around the bush and run away, thinking I will not find out she was lying there." I explain.
     
"Then what happen since then? why were you away from home for the past three days?" Murjanatu asked curiously.

"Playing a good father role on the innocence girl," I said, my voice full of sarcastic.

"Could you believe I even went down on my kneels and fake some tears just to brainwash her. I can't even imagine the poor little girl easily believes it."

"Wow! wow! wow!! you really need an award my dear husband for being a best actor. You know what, this called for a celebration, am going to prepare your favorite meal today. And beside, my friend even came over today with a good news. She said that this time around if the girl is beautiful and also Fulani they will pay huge amount of money because they were so much impressed with the work of the girls they bought last Three years.

"And you know what dear, after giving her out to them, we will pack out of this village and will not longer live in this hut again. we are going to move into the city and let my daughters have a bright future and also get married to some rich men." She said dreamily.

"That's for sure Marjanatu, we will soon be rich too and live in the city. I hope you're now happy dear?"

"Yes Salisu, am the most luckiest and happy woman in this entire village to have a husband like you, am more than proud of you, and will never ever regret marrying you my dear husband." She said and wrap her hand on me.

"I will always do everything just to see a smile glister on you face." I reassured.

"Oops! I totally forgot that I left that girl all alone, I hope she didn't suspect anything yet. Murjanatu, go and get me one of zinat cloth let me be on my way, and also meet the city men which I have appointment with.

"Okay Mai gida, let me go and get it" She said and left then return back immediately with a bag containing a cloth.

"I hope those will do?" She asked handing me the bag

"Yeah this one will do, let me get going. And before I get back please make sure you are done with the food. Am also coming back her today, please act nicely toward her so she won't suspect anything, before we finish arranging everything with the city men okay!"I warn gently.

"As you wish Mai gida" She said and we both burst into a series of evil laughter before I descend out of the house.

As I reach the tend where I will have an appointment with the city men's. I became frightened to say salam, because I could vividly remember non of them answer to my taslim that very day until the next day that I returned.

I knock at their door and there was a silent for several minute before I heard a voice.

"Seems like we have a client here, Sam please check who is there

"Okay oga" He said and came to me

"Man how can we help you?" Sam asked.

"Sir I want to give out my daughter for sale"

"Just wait here, I will be back" he said and return inside.

After some minute he came back, with a man tailing behind him which seems like their boss, I could hardly get to eavesdrop on what they were saying. The first man, who I learn his name is to be Sam left while the master as stated approach me.

"Welcome! am Alhaji Kabir, the boss of this team, I heard you're here to give out your daughter right?" He asked and i nodded like a teenager, after were both seated

"But firstly before we proceed, I have to tell you about our team and work here, then you will sign an agreement document which will be a witness that we didn't kidnap your daughter rather you gave her to us willingly, first and foremost, your daughter will have a brighter future, our team will take them to the city, provide them with good shelters, clothing materials and engaged them into the best school in the city and lastly before taking her away from you as her father, we will pay you a certain amount of money which will ensure you that she will have a better life with us than here. So did you agree with our terms Mr?"

"Yes, yes, I agree with everything as you said but there is a problem," I said, feeling the man eyes on me, making me Shriver underneath.

"What the problem?" He asked calmly.

"I have never been to school before, so how can I sign these papers?"

"That won't be a problem, you can do thumb printing. And by the way I hope your daughter is not up to 20years or so, because now a days we prefer girls from 10 to 17 range."

"Yes sir, she's just 10years old I think" I said not even sure of her age.

"Wow that great, but you're a little bit late, anyway since she's 10years, just press your hand here and sign it below this line" He directed me which I did neatly.

"Now everything is okay, you just have to bring your daughter here tomorrow at this exact time and get your money."

"Okay sir, thank you so much! have a nice day. Till we come tomorrow bye," And that was how my appointment with the city men ended.

Now I have to put everything in action before that girl find out and run away.
