"Is everyone okay?"

"The young girl and her parents are in critical condition. The drunk driver was dead on arrival."

"And Joe?"

"That's why I'm calling ma'am. You were listed as his emergency contact. He arrived at the hospital with several injuries. 5 broken ribs, a sprained wrist and internal lung bleeding. The doctors rushed him to the operating table to try to save him but I have a feeling you know what happened."
