After meeting with Jungkook, Taehyung couldn't shake off his image from his mind. Jungkook was always in his thoughts. There was something about Jungkook that kept pulling him in, making him think about him all the time.

There was something in Jungkook's eyes that made him want to know more about it.

Taehyung couldn't understand why he felt so drawn to Jungkook when they had barely talked with each other.

He always kept himself away from others. Since childhood, he only had Hoseok by his side. Taehyung was never the one to start a conversation with someone, but this time it was different.

.
.
.

Jungkook walked in the corridors of the royal palace. His walk was slow but full of authority. As he walked in the corridors, he heard someone's footsteps behind him.

He smirked and fastened his pace. The footsteps behind him were still walking at the same pace.

Jungkook turned to a narrower corridor and stood there for a moment until the other footsteps came closer.

As the person entered the corridor, Jungkook quickly grabbed him and pinned him against the wall. His grip was firmly holding the other's collars.

"You?" Jungkook said in surprise after seeing the person's face. He immediately released his hold and took a step back to maintain a safe distance between them.

"Taehyung, what are you doing here?" Jungkook asked calmly.

Taehyung chuckled, "This is my palace and I can go wherever I want," he said and took a step closer to Jungkook, "And I can imprison you for treating me like this."

Jungkook laughed. He was about to say something but Taehyung immediately cut him off, "But I don't want to. I can't go there to meet you every day, and meeting you like this is more interesting." Taehyung said smiling.

"Why are you messing with me? Do you have a death wish or are you just bold," Jungkook said, his eyes narrowing.

"You are the first one to treat me like this and that's what makes me interested in you," Taehyung said, his eyes fixed on Jungkook.

"So, do you want me to respect you like others?" Jungkook asked.

"No. You're different, that's why I like you," Taehyung whispered but it was enough for Jungkook to hear it.

"What exactly do you want?" Jungkook said calmly. His hands behind his back.

Taehyung smiled and again took a step closer to Jungkook, "I won't say I like you, that's what others say. I would say I want to know you more. I want to know things about you that others don't. I want to be the only one for you," Taehyung said, looking into Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook sighed, "You're playing with fire. I don't let anyone enter my world," he said with raised eyebrows.

Taehyung smiled, Jungkook's calm voice sending chills down his spine, "I like playing with fire as long as it gets me what I want."

Jungkook laughed and bent down to Taehyung's level, their faces inches apart.

"My fingers are enough to satisfy all your needs, and here you are asking to be my only one? Will you be able to handle me?" Jungkook said, a smirk playing on his lips.

Taehyung chuckled, "Don't just talk- make me believe it," he said.

Jungkook raised his eyebrow, "You are playing a dangerous game, Taehyung."

"I like danger," Taehyung said, his voice soft, "Or maybe, I like you."

Jungkook's jaw clenched. It was the first time when someone was talking like this with him. No one ever tried to provoke him but now Taehyung was getting on his nerves.

Taehyung moved closer to Jungkook, "You're scared," he said and traced the edge of Jungkook's jaw, he added, "Scared of what I might do to you."

"I am not scared of you," Jungkook said immediately and jerked Taehyung's hand away. "Don't provoke me, Taehyung. You might regret it later."

"I'm not as weak as you think," Taehyung replied, his hands clutching behind his back.

"Weak?," Jungkook laughed, "I can make you scream with a single touch. I can make you beg for more and more," he said, his voice dangerous.

Taehyung's breath hitched but he forced himself to reply, "Then show me what you can do," he demanded.

"I can do much more than you can even think about. You don't know what you are getting yourself into," Jungkook said, scanning Taehyung from up to down.

"I know what I'm doing and what I want. This time I want you," Taehyung said, his eyes locked with Jungkook's.

Jungkook chuckled, "I don't want to waste more time with you. You are just a spoiled little prince trying to play brave," he said and walked away from there.

Taehyung's eyes flashed with anger. Jungkook stopped at the end and glanced at Taehyung.

"Stay out of my way, Taehyung. The next time you provoke me, I will not stop myself from doing things that you might regret later," Jungkook said and left from there.

Taehyung felt a rush of anger. No one has ever talked with him the way Jungkook did. Jungkook's words still echoed in his mind. Taehyung was determined to get what he wanted, and now he wants Jungkook.

With Jungkook

Jungkook left the palace. His mind was flooded with Taehyung's thoughts. As he walked out of the palace, his eyes caught a woman standing on the path.

The woman was wrapped in a faded shower. Her face filled with wrinkles that remarked her old age.

Jungkook continued his walk, as he approached the woman, she blocked her way.

"Good evening, Young man," she said, looking at Jungkook, who didn't reply.

"The night is beautiful, isn't it?" she again said, Jungkook studied her face for a moment and looked away in annoyance.

Jungkook sighed, "it's just a night," he said and again tried to walk away but the old woman didn't budge from her place.

The old woman smiled faintly, "It is just a night, but nights hold the secrets of what the daylight hides."

Jungkook narrowed his eyes, finding the woman suspicious from the way she talked, "What are you trying to say?" he asked.

"Something that you are unaware of," she said calmly, "Sometimes, it's good to hear things from strangers."

Jungkook examined her. His face was unreadable.

The woman suddenly looked at the royal palace, a small smile on her face, "The palace is so beautiful."

Jungkook looked at the palace, "It is," he said, his eyes now on the woman.

The woman's smile suddenly faded, "But it won't be for too long," said said, her voice serious.

"What do you mean?" Jungkook said, confusedly.

The woman turned to Jungkook, "This palace has been quiet for so long, but soon someone's blood will flow like a river in the halls of this palace," she murmured.

Jungkook's gaze turned serious, "What?"

The woman's eyes darkened as she uttered, "The bloodshed will be caused by someone close to you and the blood will be that of someone who is also close to you,"

"Now, it's your choice to take the right side."

Jungkook wanted to forget her words and walk away from there but something was telling him to listen to her, to believe her words.

Before he could respond. The woman stepped back into the shadow, blending into the darkness, "Remember," she continued, "The choice will be yours and you will have to bear its consequences."

With that the woman was gone, leaving Jungkook alone on the path. He had many questions in his mind that the woman left him with.

He continued to walk, but the woman's words again and again replayed in his mind, and he couldn't shake off those words from his mind.
