Annabeth's POV

"Wait if you're here, where's Ra-" I got cut off by a sound coming from the bottom stairwell. "We split up as a diversion." Nico said coldly. "Will hated this plan." he added. "Well, let's go running with the bulls." Hazel said already running down the stairs. We followed closely behind. What I saw nearly gave me a headache.

There were at least two dozen of the Sylvestres chasing after what I saw was a brightly colored train. As soon as Rachel saw me, she leaped off and ran towards us. "Run." she said out of breath, then continued running. We had no choice but to run with her. We ran past all the shops, with passerbys looking at us. I wondered what they would see. A large pack of dogs? The train out of control? I thought to myself.

Suddenly, a wall of bones appeared at the Sylvestres feet. They tripped over one another, until it ressembled a small clay wall. I looked ahead and saw Will carry Nico, like he was a damsel in distress. Hazel had some rubble on her clothes, which she shook off. Piper was spotless, or maybe it was just Aphrodite's magic. She said "Well that won't hold them for long. What should we do?" We kept running but we collided with another group. A girl with bright pink hair shoved a manubalista into the back of my neck. "Who are you?" she said sternly. "Annabeth, the girl that asked you to rescue these people that are behind me?" I said hoping she would believe me. Luckily, she seemed to ease up.

Lavinia's POV

I couldn't believe I almost killed Annabeth! "I'm sooooo sorry!" I added in my best pleading voice. Luckily, she seemed to forgive me. "We can take the truck outside back to Camp Jupiter now. "Wait, isn't that Reyna's?" Annabeth asked curiously. "Well ever since plan L, I got some special privileges." I said proudly. We headed out back towards the truck, and Nico and Will were in the back. Nico had regained some of his strength, but black death magic radiated from him. Will was trying to feed him a KitKat.

We drove the way back, and let's just say we got many strange glances. We arrived at camp only to find a boy in a full black attire, and gold glasses. He looked like he was the corpse of a funeral, except for the gold glasses. He looked like Nico, but with a lot more spite in him. Too bad he didn't have a Will to light him up.

Lavinia hugged both of her guards for simply being alive. I guess it goes to show that every hug might be your last. And with that, we walked inside Camp Jupiter. It looked better than last time, considering that it was destroyed. Bacchus's Garden was as good as new, as well as the Praetoria. I admired the Roman architecture for far too long until Rachel shook me out of it. "Annie, you still there or did Isis host you?" she asked. "SHHHH!"  I said. I told her about my experience before with those Egyptian kids, and I wish I hadn't. She sometimes is a huge blabbermouth.

Josh's POV

I couldn't believe it! First, I was tagged by a stranger with pink hair. Next, I was dragged halfway through some dark woods. Finally, I met this very old-timey place they called Camp Jupiter. Then I saw MORE strangers. How could this get any worse? One was the pink-haired girl I saw earlier. There was another girl that had stormy gray eyes and blond hair. Another was a boy that had blond hair and held a First-Aid kit full of KitKats. Then a red-headed girl with doodles on her jeans. Then again a girl with braided hair with a feather in it. Then another girl(Jeez, how many do they have?) with dark skin and hair. And lastly, a boy that looked like... me. Dark attire, except without my gold glasses.

While we walked through the camp, I thought about how many things I could steal here. Huge gold antiques could only sell for so much in Oakland. But it kept me alive. I tried to test how easily I could trick these people simply by trying to steal a marker in the red-headed girl's pocket. I succeeded, but it didn't look like she minded. Curse it, this might be harder than I thought. I tried something harder: the blond girl's scrunchie holding up her hair. She immediately turned around and caught me. "This is a different scrunchie?....." I tried to explain, but she didn't believe me. She took it back and gave me in return a punch in the gut. There goes my breakfast I thought.

I got registered to one of those groups, and immediately regretted it. It was under that pink-haired girl. She said she liked dancing. I danced as bad as the next person. "Hey, it's not that bad," the girl that introduced herself as Piper said. I ran away. Great. Now I have a fugitive record here. All of a sudden, I crashed into that boy that looked like me. "Uhhhhhhh, sorry?" I said, desperately wanting to get away. "Hey. I get it. You're scared, even after that dumb orientation video, aren't you?" he said in his cold unforgiving voice. Just like my uncle. Who I ran away from because he was so strict. I still remember that cold Halloween night. I couldn't stand him! "N-N-No..." I stammered out. "Nico. Nico Di Angelo." he said holding out his hand. "Josh. Josh Devera." I said shaking his hand. Not exactly the best idea. Both of our hands were cold. Maybe we had more in common than we thought. I felt, for the first time since my dad, at peace. I remember his touch when I was a baby, just never saw his face.

Maybe...

Just maybe...

This could be home?
