Precap – manan's closeness.

Continuing part of the diary ..............

Manik pov – she was looking so adorable that I wanted to gulp her , but I controlled myself and my stupid heart's wish .

Nandini – manik , thank you so much for your help .

Manik frowns and says – don't you know ?

Nandini – umm what ?

Manik – no sorry and thank you in friendship .

Nandini – yes , am sorry, no sorry from today no sorry no thank you its nandini's promise . (smiles sheepishly at him)manik laughs at her .

Nandini – umm manik , I have to go now , because our hostel wadern has hold that we have to reach hostel before 6 , and college closes at 4 , so she only gives two hours time extra , so that we can go out and spend some time and now its 5:20 .

Manik becomes sad on hearing that – ok shall I leave you

Nandini – no it is fine , the hostel is near only , I can go by walk , it takes 5 minutes only, and after I reach I need to start arranging my books , and I have missed today's class so , I have to study them .

Manik pov – but I want to give her accompany till her hostel by walk right .i hope she says yes .

Nandini – manik I think I should leave now ,bye and carries the jacket and books .

Manik – umm nandini let me help you , I mean I can drop you till hostel , and you forgot that you have to give that jacket to tailor , so I can do that small help for you .

Manik pov – just say yes ,please

Nandini – but tomorrow you have exam right ?

Manik chuckles – I have already studied so no problem

Nandini –but still

Manik – am topper of college nandini , nandini widens her eyes.

Nandini – oo am sorr .. .... noo its ok then

Manik – so madam shall we leave its already 5:35 now .nandini nods .

BOTH OF THEM WERE WALKING SILENTLY , NO WORDS WERE SPOKEN,THE EVENING SUNSET WAS SO BEAUTFUL , IT WAS FALLING ON THEM ,BOTH OF THEM WERE GAZING AT EACH OTHER AND THAT 5 MINUTES OF WALK SOON ENDED .

Manik –nandini see we have reached your destination .

Nandini – yes , see you tomorrow in college .and moves towards her hostel

Manik sadly turns back – only bye , I mean these 5 minutes were like nanoseconds for me , I wish that if time would have stopped I would have spent my whole life just watching her ,I feel like am melting in her eye's intensity , her smile its so infectious , I think god took his own time while making her .

But soon his thoughts send , when someone taps him on his shoulder , manik stops and turns back to see nandini standing there

Manik (worriedly)- nandini any problem , I mean soha ?

Nandini – shhhh manik , I came to say all the best for your exam and haan study well and runs from there as she hears the hostel bell ringing , which indicates that 10 more minutes that the gates of hostel are going to be closed .

Manik – so sweet of her , he rubs his neck and walks away but not before seeing nandini entering the hostel .

Manik then goes to the tailor and asks him to cut the sleeves and stitch them .the tailor does it in 15 minutes and gives it back to him .

Manik then walks to his home , smiling all the way to the people, few returned his smiles and few were shocked ,few thought he is some mad person .but who knew the reason behind his smile .

NIGHT 8:47 PM

HOSTEL

Nandini was ragged by her seniors , they asked her to write their notes , her fellow mates/class mates didn't even glance or smile at her . they didn't even let her occupy the bed which she was given , she was send to second floor by her own classmates , and nandini poor innocent soul gave up easily .nandini was arranging her books and dresses ,few taunted her how her clothes are so cheap ,she didn't have any makeup .this bought tears in her eyes ,but she didn't let it fall out of her eyes ,later she did all the assignment of her seniors and then did her own assignment .it was now 8:47 , nandini was hell tired now , she went to the mess , she took her plate and filled with small amount of rice,dal , curry , and 1 chapathi , in sweet they had gulabjamun .

She was walking , suddenly from some where soha came and snatched her plate and said – where are going haan ? now who will save you from me here ?and give this plate to me ,a dn go get other plate and don't sit over here , your place is not here , go and sit in your room .

Nandini then took other plate , when she was serving her plate , soha came and said – nandini what is this , how can you eat like pig haan , see listen to my words you will be benifited and then snatches her plate and smirks evily .soha only put one chapathi , with extra curry which is very spicy and gave half spoon of rice .

Nandini – I can take by myself , please give me my plate .and tries to take the plate

Soha – aaan , no see do you want increase the fat content in your body , and pokes her cheeks angrily and forcefully , nandini winces in pain .

Soha – see this fat , try to reduce it now get lost or else I will even take this plate .nandini silently walks towards her room .soha asks the junior to follow nandini and lock her outside from the room ,and as soha said the girl does .

Nandini sighs and sits near the window gazing at stars , with her plate .she reminds how manik shared his food with her today morning , and a smile stretches on her lips .

Nandini pov – manik he is really a gem like his name , he has helped me a lot , I could not even thank him today properly in the evening ,the way he smiles ,I feel that he ahs the beautiful smile in this world, he is simple guy , when he has the fortune , but still he doesnot shows it to anyone , I hope I get a husband like him in future , the girl who ever marries him will be very lucky .and then nandini eats first bite of chapathi with curry only , she immedieatly gulps the food down her throat , tears come out of her eyes , she was then searching for water in the room but didn't find , she goes to the door and tries to open it , but it was locked

Nandini cryingly – some one please open the door , please I need water .

She was shouting , and here outside soha was standing near the soor and having food leasuirely – messing up with me , now see the result and laughs and goes away .

Nandini then accepting her defeat comes and sits near the window once again and cries – if manik would have been with me , he would have helped me.i want to hide myself in his embrace like morning , I felt so secured in his arms , his arms were the first thing in the world which provided me warmth , love , safety , assurance that he will be always with me .

MANIK'S HOUSE

Manik came out of bathroom in his night dress(white kurta, pant ), rubbing his head with towel, as he had showered .he comes and stands infront of mirror – and makes a messy look of his hair .and thinks – if nandini would have been here , what she would have said about my hair ?and smile, rubs back of his neck .

Manik with his food plate goes to his terrace , as today he felt like having his dinner under the beautiful stars and moonlight , manik then goes and sits on the edge of the terrace and was going to have his first morsel ,when he turns towards in his right direction to find a crying nandini sitting near the window , both the floors were at same level and manik could see nandini easily , even if he will be in his room , both of them were just20 feet apart from each other .the back of the hostel's room were facing his room's front window.

Manik pov – why is she crying ?did some thing happen to her ?wait soha ?? if she is the reason behind nandini's cries am not gonna leave her .i so want to wipe her tears and hide her from this stupid world .

Manik sees that she was constantly gazing at the stars , cryingly ,she was not wiping her tears also .manik then thinks how to call her , he then runs to his room and takes a paper and pen and writes down "WHAT HAPPENED NANDINI ?"and he throws at her , praying it would reach her .and the paper hit exactly nandini's head.

Nandini who felt something hit her head sees a paper and open sit to find "WHAT HAPPENED NANDINI ? ",she immedieatly turns left and right to find manik standing in his room , she smiles seeing him , he was looking so handsome with that messy wet hairs of his , seeing her crying face manik thinks

Manik pov – I will not leave that person who brought tears in your eyes nandini .but now I have to make her smile .

Manik waves at her and indicates her to smile by widing his lips , nandini smiles at him brightly , nandni then gets a paper and writes – had your dinner , did you study for your tommorow's exam ?and throws at him

Manik immedieatly catches it and reads and chuckles at her , manik writes – no ,and I studied , don't worry , did you have your food .and throws at her .

Nandini opens and smiles but lies to him and says – yes .and passes it to him

Manik opens it and mutters and says – this girl don't even know how to lie and shakes his head .and writes down – till you have your food , even I wont have mine ,and no lies next time onwards .

Nandini reads it – he understands me so much ,and writes – I cant manik? And passes it

Manik reads it and sees her questiongly ?and asks her why by indicating his hands?nandini writes down – seniors ragged me , I wrote everyone's notes and did my assignment , and when I went down , soha snatched my plate , telling me how fat I ma , she poked my cheek manik , it hurted a lot , she gave me very little food and extra spicy curry manik , I don't like spicy food manik , and when I was crying for water , she locked me .and cryingly throws at him .

Manik reads it and his anger reaches to peak , he crushes the paper angrily , but now his motto was nandini .he writes – nandini please have the chapathi , but don't have curry , please eat something for me .

Nandini read it and sees manik loking at her intently – she nods and starts eating , manik was ahppy that she didn't sleep hungrily , manik observed how puffy her eyes has become and her eye lids were also dropping down , manik understood that she is tired and needs to sleep

Manik writes – nanidni sleep now , you are dead tired we will see tomorrow in college .and passes it to her.

Nandini nods towards him not before throwing a chit at him and runningly closes the lights and lays down on bed.manik picks the chit – "THANK YOU , YOU ARE A ANGEL MANIK , AM LUCKY TO HAVE YOU AS MY FRIEND AND YOU LOOK HAND SOME"

Manik was now blushing and mutters to himself – so she liked me like this , from tomorrow onwards no oil on my head to college , but if I don't punish this soha na I will not have peace .

That night manik didn't have food also , because when he saw nandini having 1 chapathi , his heart bleed how she was facing so many difficulties , his hunger died that moment .he slept without having food and water .thinking about her .

Parth pov – wow dadaji loved dadi very much , cant believe man these chits are still with him ,and sees those chits inside the diary .few letters were gone , but still it was there .does true love really exist ?
