before you start reading I'd like you to go check out @pattonboio she is an amazing and kind person who deserves the world, and has helped me out a lot recently. So I dedicate this chapter to her.

Patton's POV

"Hi Mum! Hey Ma! Where's Emile?" I asked my parents.

"What's up kid! I think he's upstairs" Ma responded.

My Ma, Ivy, is a casual, extroverted woman, who is very protective of her wife and kids. She had short hair and always wore some kind of merch for whatever event she was going to. Her wife, my mum Rose, was kind and loving, and she is only strict when she had to be. She has a burning passion for baking, and she would constantly wear a rainbow apron, over white clothes.

Emile, my older brother is like a fusion of both of our parents. He makes pop culture references in every second sentence, is kind and loving and he isn't too shy, but he certainly doesn't feel the need to stand out. I love my family with every fibre of my being and I don't think I could get any luckier.

"Oki, thanks Ma!" I yelled out as I skipped up the stairs three at a time when I had finally arrived, I found Emile in his room, wearing his usual pink time and beige cardigan.

"Heyo Emile!"

"Hey Pat, how are you?". 'How are you?' was a question Emile asked often. I often think he cares more for others than himself. But that was just how Emile was, it was the same with mum.

"Fantastic!" I said, cheerfully.

But that was just how Emile was, it was the same with mum.

"HEY KIDDO!!! Come down here!" I heard my Ma call. Maybe it was finally here?!

"Coming ma!" I yelled, voice vibrating whilst I sped down the stairs.

"Is it here, is it here, is it here, HAS IT FINALLY COME?"

Ma grinned widely, and I felt my heart soar. I was finally going to be able to go to Hogwarts, where my mum learnt magic. I wonder which house I'll be sorted into?! Mum was a Ravenclaw, but I think any house is fine because there'll be tons of new people to be friends with, and I have to get a pet!

I eagerly took the letter from her held out hand and opened it.

Dear Mr. Hart,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1st. We await your owl by no later than July 31st.
