Because why not it's my book and I'm really pumped and I love this au already. Plus I wanted to explain the roles of the other sides this au. And also the ships. And also what exactly happens after Remus's attempted murder of Roman because I'm too excited not to tell.

Ships:

FAMILIAL Roman and Remus, along with Roman and Thomas and Remus and Thomas

The romantic ships in this au are (don't be mad at me for this pl ease) Roceit [Roman x Deceit], Intrugical [Remus x Logan look it was either this or Remus and Patton/Virgil o k-], and Moxeity [Patton x Virgil]

Everything else is completely platonic.

Now, here's what happens after Remus attempted to murder Roman. Just a t.w. since it's talk about murder and also slightly detailed.

So, he has it all planned out in his head. He'll attack Roman as soon as he's almost about to become king officially, or right before he goes to it in general-Remus hasn't worked out all of it. Anyways, Remus would knock him out with his mourning-star or at the very least strike him in the chest with it to knock him off his feet. Then he'll attempt to stab (with his hidden dagger he had in his jacket pocket) Roman unless he fights back.

And after that? Remus didn't exactly know.

So he goes to bed that night, a bit nervous. Remus was starting to doubt if he really should do this. He grew up with Roman, he's his brother! He debated about it in his mind, until he drifts off to sleep.

Remus got up that morning, and he did end up attempting to knock Roman off his feet by hitting him in the stomach, and he did. But, he hesitated to pull out his dagger as he looked down at the confused yet terrified face before him.

All of the memories flood his mind like an overfilled pot as he drops to his knees. He couldn't kill Roman.

And you bet that tears escaped his eyes as the guards took him away.

He got arrested for assaulting the new king. (Roman did end up getting coronated by the way; Remus attacked him right after he officially became king) Roman was understandably upset about this happening and the two ended up having a (verbal) fight about it when he visited Remus in jail.

Remus did tell him what he was going to do by the way (and that he regretted it in the moment) and Roman wanted to forgive him but he just...couldn't. He did end up giving him a second chance.

Roman didn't necessarily forgive him, per say. He was mad that his own brother attempted to kill him. But, he knows how Remus is, and he decided to give him a second chance by getting him out of jail and demoting him to a Duke.

There's also more but I gotta mainly think stuff out plus I don't want to uh...spoil anything.

Anyways, here's what the other sides are! Sorry that that^ took so long by the way I got excited.

Logan Berry- I'm not really sure what he is yet tbh. Maybe a bookstore that he inherited after his parents died? But I'm not sure how he'd meet Remus so u h oops. Maybe even the son of the librarian there?? Since I think they may have a librarian in their personal library?? Idk ok. Or maybe he's a prince of a neighboring kingdom honestly idk. He's 19.

Virgil Sangria- Knight Knight Knight Knight for the royal guard. He's been training since he was little since his dad's the head of the royal guard and he was also kinda...pressured into it. Virge's anxiety is still existing but it helps him to train for whatever reason. He's 18.

Patton Baker- He's the son of two women who are bakers at the royal palace. Patton occasionally helps out there as well now since he legally can now. Plus his moms let him come in sometimes when he was little but not help, and this is when he was possibly around 5. He's 18.

De- An almost king. His parents, unlike most of the other kingdoms, are magic users. De also has viltigo by the way. I'll expand on this boyo on another day since this is getting long. De's almost 18.
