Maverick POV

[Koharu and I are over killing boars in Origin Planes. I didn't use pebbles since I wanted to show off in front of Koharu. Since I know she's definitely a girl, it makes me feel all weird inside. I like it when she smiles. So I want to keep it on her face at all times. She laughs as I show off and show her how to fight. She's catching on pretty quickly. Hearing her laugh is like music to my ears]

Koharu POV

[So I defintley know he's a boy and he knows I'm a girl. So that means this can work, right? We are fighting boars to make sure they drop the item we need. He is showing off. I know he's doing it for me. He's really sweet. I know we just officially met but I can't help but feel attached. I never want to leave his side. He's always teaching me and protects me. This isn't a game anymore. This is life. If I want to make it through the game, I need to find someone I can rely on. I think I found that person]

3rd Person POV

[Maverick and Koharu return to Argo with the drops they needed to collect]

Argo: All right! That's all of them! How was it? Think you can keep it up?

Maverick: I think we'll be okay.

Argo: It might be a grind but you're making progress, right? One small step, and one giant leap! How about your little friend there?

Koharu: I'm still not sure if I can do this. But I don't want to just sit here whining and not get anything done. Although...I feel like I might just be going through the motions to try and forget the reality of the situation.

Argo: That's fine! It's still a realistic solution! These items are real after all. Now then...before I hand over this Col, here' some advice from yours truly. Now that you have some Col, you can pick up gear in the shopping district. It's like paying for peace of mind. Don't forget.

Koharu: So, Argo, why have you been so kind to us? We all just met by chance out here and all. You didn't need to help us like this.

Argo: Oh but I did indeed. You see, I deal in information. Building contacts and credibility is my trade. Tons of players are still stuck in the plaza in disbelief. People who head straight to work like you, well, you're a rare commodity. So now that you owe me one, I'll make sure you repay me in kind. You're my future investment! Nyahaha!

Maverick: We'll be sure to repay you.

Argo: I'm looking forward to seeing how much my "investment" pays out!

Koharu: Okay!
