3rd Person POV

[MAVERICK and Koharu are about to head to Tolbana. Before he leaves, MAVERICK turns to Sachi. He hands her a spear]

Sachi: What is this?

MAVERICK: This is the Rookie Spear. It also has a special skill that comes with it. I've already maxed out the skill. The strength of the weapons increases as much as you level.

Sachi: Why are you doing this for me?

MAVERICK: Because I want to.

Sachi: That's very sweet. I'll treasure it. Good luck against the boss.

[Sachi sneakily plants a kiss on MAVERICK's cheek. MAVERICK blushes and walks away. MAVERICK and Koharu then arrive in Tolbana]

Koharu: So this is where all the people who are gonna take on the boss are gathered, huh? Where's Diavel? Hey, isn't that...

[Kibaou walks over]

Kibaou: There's some faces I know! I knew you had it in ya though, so I'm not surprised.

Koharu: Did Diavel invite you here too, Kibaou?

Kibaou: Of course he did. You lot are joining in our meeting, right?

Koharu: What meeting?

Kibaou: You're kidding me, right? I dunno if you lot are brave or just dumb.

MAVERICK: Watch it, Kibaou. You can insult me but you can't insult Koharu.

[Koharu blushes]

Kibaou: Standing up for your girlfriend I respect that.

Koharu: WHAT!

Kibaou: Alright head over to Tolbana Amphitheater. Diavel should still be out there now.

MAVERICK: Okay.

Kiabou: You better make it snappy too. Diavel doesn't have all the time in the world. Guess I'll see ya at the meeting!

[MAVERICK and Koharu head into the Amphitheatre where Diavel meets them]

Diavel: So you have decided to heed the call. I'm relieved to have more help with out attack on the floor boss.

Koharu: Hang on a second. We haven't actually decided if we were going to fight or not yet. We wanted to talk to you about it first...

Diavel: Is that so? I'll say, I'm actually relieved.

Koharu: Why's that?

Diavel: Well you wanted to fully hear me out before you made your decision, right? That shows you're serious about this. This is a boss we're talking about. It's nothing like the small fry we've all faced. We face dangers unlike any other. But that is exactly why we must work to defeat it. We need to show everyone waiting in Town of Beginnings that the game CAN be beat. We need to give them hope. If we can do that, then others will follow in our footsteps. The battle isn't just about us. That's what I'm fighting for. I only hope you feel the same. How about it?

MAVERICK POV

[Does everyone get long monologues but me in this world?]

3rd Person POV

MAVERICK: Diavel is right.

Diavel: I'm pleased to hear that. We can do this together. I'm gathering up all the players we have to discuss our battle strategy. I do hope you will join us. However...We still don't have the manpower we need. We still have a number of people working to level and save as much as they can first.

Koharu: What will happen if they don't show up?

Diavel: Oh, they will. They've been out in the front lines since the start. This is just the next step.

Koharu: You sure have a lot of faith in them don't you?

Diavel: We're all in this together after all. While we wait for them to return, I want you to help prepare the journey. You can decide whether you want to join us once preparations are finished.

MAVERICK: We'll help out.

Diavel: Then it's settled. All right, think you can activate the Teleport Monument out in Central Tolbana for starters?

Koharu: "Activate" it?

MAVERICK: Do you really no nothing?

[Koharu elbows MAVERICK]

Diavel: Once a Teleport Point is activated we'll be able to easily travel between it. We'll definitely need to use it if we're moving up. Just touch the Teleport Monument and you should figure it out. Let me know when you're done.

[Maverick and Koharu go off on their assignment]
