Jazz spotted a flash of white under the rocks and dug more frantically, soon uncovering part of Prowl's frame. The poor Praxian was crushed beneath the rocks and he didn't show signs of movement.

"Primus... no no no.... please..." he whimpered, quickly pressing a finger to his comn and trying to calm down enough to speak normally. -Optimus? Anyone?!-

-Yes, Jazz. It's Optimus. What's wrong?-

-The g-ground gave out from u-underneath Prowl and now he's t-trapped... I can't get him out!-

-Alright, calm down. I'll have Ratchet and a few others come to you.-

Jazz ended the comn and kept digging, tears spilling down his cheeks as he saw the extent of the damage. "Prowl... please.. don't leave me...." he whispered, staring helplessly at the unmoving mech.

-Later-

Jazz hadn't moved from his spot in hours, his dull optics still fixated on Prowl, who was laying on a medberth with several machines hooked up to him. Ratchet had tried to tell him to leave and get some recharge, but he refused to move. He was going to wait until Prowl woke up.

No matter how long it took.

Eventually, Jazz dozed off while standing and jumped awake when he hit his forehead on the wall. He groaned and rubbed his optics, glancing hopefully at Prowl. He sighed when he saw that nothing had changed, leaning heavily against the wall.

"Jazz? You can sleep in here if you want to. I suppose there's no use trying to get you to leave, is there?" Ratchet spoke up, stepping into the room with a blanket and a pillow.

Jazz glanced at Ratchet and smiled a bit, walking over to the medic and taking the blanket and pillow. "Thanks, Ratch. I appreciate it." He mumbled drowsily, walking over to a chair and slumping into it. He wrapped the blanket around himself and propped his head up with the pillow, sighing gently.

"No problem." Ratchet smiled a bit, nodding to Jazz. "Just call me if you need anything." He said, turning on his heel and walking away.

Jazz nodded slightly, curling up in the blanket and closing his optics. He was out like a light as soon as he closed his optics, all worries melting away for now.
