The warm summer breeze gently and calmly shook the trees, leaves falling as I took a stroll through Seoul. The lively city warmed my heart with joy. I almost felt happy that I had such an experience during my stay because of those five.

A month had finally passed after that time with Daewon and I told myself that I'd keep practicing. My travel blogs slowly but surely became a hit after I also showed them the culinary experience I had and the cuisines I created back home.

My eyes wandered back to the food stalls that I saw. This made me think of them and I figured that to show my gratitude for them making my stay in the country worthwhile, maybe I could prepare five cuisines that they would enjoy. So, I decided to go to the market to buy some ingredients just in case they wouldn't have it.

Going back to the restaurant, I felt the nostalgia washing over me. My hands twisted the doorknob and went inside, the aroma hitting my nose pretty quickly. I then asked if the chef was around and they told me that they were in the back.

"Daewon," I tried calling him but to no avail. It took a few tries before I saw someone calling him and he walked towards me, his eyebrows raised. "Oh, there you are."

"Is there anything you need so far?" His crossed arms indicate that he actually didn't want to be bothered for a long time so I cut straight to the point.

"Are you busy? I was thinking of preparing you all some meals for lunch if you're up for it."

"What time and where?"

"Later at 12 or so. I was thinking back at Minho's since he has a grill that I could use for the meals."  He seems to be thinking, his finger under his chin and furrowed eyebrows in his features.

Daewon then looks at his watch before shaking his head. "That's at least hours to take. You can use the kitchen along with the cooks for the meals."

"Thanks, Daewon," I replied with a smile on my face.

His eyes went back to the bags I had in my hands. His finger quickly pointed at it. "Need help with those?"

I looked back at the bags in my hand and shook my head. "Ah, no need."

"Do you need help with the other dishes?" Another no from me.  When he noticed my reaction, he quickly sighed, giving me an apron right after I put down the bags on the counter.

"You sure?"

"I'm sure. I want to cook with no helper this time. Yohan almost took over when I was plating," I told him as Daewon chuckled.

"Alright, I'll leave you to it. I'll text the others."

Excitement bubbled within me as I took the ingredients to one of the empty counters in the back to prepare cooking. Some of the staff already knew me so they didn't pay me a glance and focused on cooking the orders for the customers. Taking out the notepad I had, I then tried remembering how to cook the other meals.

Alright, Dara, you can do this.

First on the menu was "Duck magret with plum sauce and mashed potatoes" - something I've learned for a while. These were tender and crunchy duck magret along with a sweet sauce of plum, citrus, and dates as well as baked mashed potatoes on the sides. This was for Daewon. If a dish could relate so much to a person, I'd say this fits him.

The dish is more likely to be tried by those people who appreciates memorable experiences, very sentimental, and thoughtful. This dish requires carefulness in preparation thus, a person who would like such a dish would more often be defined as wise in decision-making and planning and one who touches the soul, unforgettable.

Next came "Grilled Fillet of Salmon with Oyster and Roe Butter Sauce" - which was seasoned salmon with onions, oyster sauce, heavy cream, and roe butter and plated along with other vegetables. This one was for Giyeon since most of the people who try this are rather artistic, have a refined and luxurious taste in life, and are possibly more creative when it comes to new opportunities they want to try.

For Minho, I prepared "Sous Vide Short Ribs" - something I've learned for a while. These were marinated tender ribs with sauteed mushrooms, shallots, and demi-glace. Figured it was good for him since despite its simpleness, it takes a lot of time for someone to pay a lot of attention to detail, patience in making it, and the dedication and effort it takes to ensure the subtleness of the flavor stands out. And that just sums up himself personality-wise. Someone who pays great attention to the smaller things.

With Shin's meticulous taste buds, I decided to surprise him with a "Prawn Sambuca Pasta" - which was sauteed prawns, and shallots, along with wine and tossed into a pasta garnished with tarragon and chives. The dish exuded simplicity and sophistication. It suits him a lot considering it's more for people with adventurous and complex tastes.

The cuisine requires each ingredient to blend well with each other making it a delightful cuisine. Personality-wise, I could say that the dish relates to him since Shin was more likely open-minded and even brave when it comes to new experiences.

Yohan, the youngest among the five, deserved a dish that was related to his restaurant. I then chose "Pan-Seared Day-Boat Diver Scallops" for him — golden brown scallops with sauteed lobster meat added with wine and romano cheese, simmered in chicken broth, and plated with risotto and lobster sauce.

It was a dish embodying the sense of togetherness and more likely another adventurous vibe which also suits those people who love to try out newer things in a life full of joy and appreciation. People who most often love this dish are often sweet and appreciate the art of both simplicity and elegance in both ways. Very passionate as this dish is prepared with savory and mostly leaves an impression on those who would try it.

As the dishes were completed, I arranged them beautifully on a table, each one a masterpiece of its own. The vibrant colors and tantalizing aromas filled the restaurant, creating an air of anticipation as I waited for them to arrive. As the clock strikes twelve, the doors opened and I turned around and saw them.

I could see how they all had surprised looks on their faces as they walked in. Yohan was the first one to see me and the dishes that were laid out on the table. He seems very excited too.

"Dara, you've outdone yourself!" Yohan exclaimed, his eyes wide with admiration as he quickly approached me and sat down in front of his dish. Soon then came Shin, who seems to be looking at his dish with a grin.

"I can't believe you prepared all of this," Shin added, looking impressed. "We're thankful."

After a few seconds, Giyeon took a picture of the cuisine prepared for him and gave me a handshake.

"Each dish looks like a work of art," Giyeon remarked, his eyes scanning every detail on the plate. "I think that lesson paid off well, huh?"

Minho grinned as he stares at the dish, following Giyeon, as he then gave me a thumbs up right after and sat down on the chair. "This looks amazing. Thanks, Dara."

I then stared at Daewon, who seemed pretty silent. I took this as a chance to hesitantly ask. "No comment? Did I choose the wrong dish or..."

As I trailed off, he shakes his head. "No, it's alright. It's not that bad."

"Hyung, you can do better than "not bad" to Dara," Yohan commented as he finally took a bite of his dish. Daewon sighed before smiling.

"Fine, you did nicely, Dara." I only smiled at this and nods, thanking him. After that, I heard the others telling me to join them as I took my time to take in the scene in front of me. Taking out the camera, I asked them for a picture and they all agreed.

Finally, an unforgettable moment to remember the scent of charms in this place.
